You say, 'What armor' Derron Gramjon says 'The armor I have is a helm, breastplate, vambraces, greaves, pauldrons, bracer, and boots. The rest you will have to get from my friend and guard Kayn. Just ask him about armor. You say, 'What vambraces?' Derron Gramjon says 'For the vambraces you must prove yourself by bringing me a meteor jewel, a mark of the holy, a tome of deities, and a restored tapestry. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Is it "Mark of Holy" or "Mark of the Holy"

Ok here is the walk thru for this quest as I have done so far and have gotten this piece. Be warned now this is not a fast do in a day quest, but with time and more time and throw in some more time you can do it easy, or maybe I just had a major run of bad luck.
Mark of Holy:
Drops from a Ferocious Rockhopper in Scarlet Desert. Best place to set up camp is at the end of the ramp going to the top of the plateau. There are three rockhoppers that spawn right in front of you and if you look out into the zone and turn left and go over the next hill, which is the tro jeg highway you will see three more that wonder over there. Pull all of these and you will get your boy to spawn. My advice is wait for a patch. I killed all of these for four days and nothing then we had a patch and I saw him three times that day alone. Also watch the pathing at the end of the ramp it is a little screwy there.
Restored Tapestry:
Drops from a Coterie Fighter in Tenebrus(sp) Mountains. This is a gift of joy since he comes from a static spawn. Camp number 5 from EQ atlas map. Just kill them till he spawns. A word of caution though. These guys seem to be a bit of an undercon. Hit pretty hard and you can not make changes to run speed. I a 52 necro had to FD more then once with these little buggers. Set up along the zone wall on the hill just north of the camp. You can pretty much miss the adds up there if you are careful and go to town on them.
Tome of Deities:
Drops from An Unholy Shadow in Twilight Sea. Simple enough since the island is not so big. Just kill greater shadows until you get named to spawn. All the greaters are PH's for named. If there is one exact spot this boy spawns I did not see it since I was just killing them as fast as I could. They do have lifetaps and can put up a bit of a fight but if you can do it.
Meteor Jewel:
Drops off of random creatures in all the zones that the quest pieces come out of. I myself set up camp in the bazaar. I was able to kill like mad there and could get jewels to drop all day long. Only problem was instead of looting coin it was taken out of my inventory. /shrug must be a zone bug. ;^)
Well that is it for the Vambraces. Hope this helps a little for someone somewhere.

This seems to be the hardest or harder one to find. I have yet to see it on my server. No one seems to know exactly where the coterie fighter spawns.

looted tome of the deities from a named shadow in twilight sea. Spawns next to the rock with the black orb in the middle of the islands with shadows. A named lesser shadow seems to be the place holder.
Looted a Mark of the Holy from a ferocious rockhopper in the Scarlet Desert. Was blue to a 52, probably around level 40, maybe a little higher. This, like many other named in the Scarlet Desert, is a random wandering spawn.
Killed that ferocious rockhopper twice just right of Twilight sea zone faceing out to desert...in between the 2 sun rev camps...dropped mark twice too
