This can be done as log as you're not kos. I was being glowered at dubiously when I got mine.

I thought newer was better, this stuff sucks majorly when compared to Velious armor quests...

Maybe because he hasn't done the quest himself and he is just giving you the quest to help you out genious.... Pay attention to that.

why dont they give stats for these items?
If you look at the reward in the bottom left corner of the post you will see the item listed in blue. Click on it and you will see the stats.
