This is a progressive quest. You need to do this in order. Talk to Grapok behind the Shaman Guild and he will ask you to fetch him various things in order to get your reward.
You say, 'Hail, Grapok' Grapok says 'Hi _____. Did [Bordag send you]?' You say 'Bordag sent me' Grapok says 'So you want learn about how to fight like bear and crush enemy with bare hand? That good. Best way to start is just go out and do it. Biggest enemy around here lizard men. You go Practice. Fight against lizard mene. Bring me their tasty meat. You bring four.' Upon bringing Grapok four lizard meats, you'll receive a Ruthless Bracer. [ Bracer] Grapok says, 'You done good. You learning. Take this. Tell me when you [ready for more].' Your faction standing with Shamen of War has been adjusted by 1. You gain experience! You say, 'ready for more' Grapok says, 'One of best things about battle is plunder. Not all plunder look like good plunder at first. Wise one know better though. You learn this lesson now. Go out and fight spider. You take their silk and make thread. You bring me four of the thread you make.' [ Cap] Grapok says, 'You done good again. You learning some. Me think you ready to [fight stronger enemy] soon.' Your faction standing with Shamen of War has been adjusted by 1. You gain experience! You say, 'fight stronger enemy' Grapok says, 'Ok then. This what you do. You fight the lizard man mystic. They pretty strong. You crush them. Bring back Mystic Doll to me as proof you do it.' [Legs] Grapok says, 'I see you did it. Good work, take reward. There still [work to do] yet but you getting there.' Your faction standing with Shamen of War has been adjusted by 18. You gain experience! You say, 'work to do?' Grapok says, 'You can fight like bear but sometime it good to float like bat. This good thing for you learn. Best way to learn is fight. You go fight the bat and learn it ways. Bring back two Giant Bat Fur and two Giant Bat Wing.' [Claws] Grapok says, 'Good. Did you learn to float like bat? You don't look lighter. Oh well. Good practice anyway. Stick to bear then. The [spirits whisper] to me. They fear your instinct and rage.' Your faction standing with Shamen of War has been adjusted by 7. You gain experience! You say, 'spirits whisper?' Grapok says, 'Once you force spirits to do what you want, you will go far. One final test for you. You a child of Rallos Zek. We all warriors one way or the other. True warrior seek to fight other warriors. That what we do. Go out and fight our enemies again. Win many battles. Cut off the tail of our enemy. That kill their pride. Bring to me four Lizard Tail.' [Tunic] Grapok says, 'You win many battles. Take this. You deserve it. Me can teach you no more. You ready. Go out now and win more battle. Crush enemy with bare hands. I am currently a Lvl 11 Beastlord and was going to try this Quest. In order to get into Oggok, you go through the Oggok stone in the PoK. Then to get in to the city, you must pass 4 Red guards, 2 on the outside, 2 on the inside. I looked at this one at Lvl 16 Warrior and they are still Red. I don't know how this is rated at Lvl 1. Should be updated
I'm not sure what race your beastlord is, but this is a quest designed for Ogre beastlords. Your race should have it's own set of newbie armour quests

A Mystic Doll will give at least an orange bubble's worth of XP at level 8. It's a great way to gain a good amount of XP if you're untwinked.

I've been trying to get one of the Dolls for this quest and I've yet to see it drop.
I've killed a bunch of the mystics but they only drop medicine bags. Am i fighting the wrong ones?

Does the Beastlord guy give you a tailoring kit to make the threads, as the Vah Shir Beastlord guy does? Or do we have to save up every copper to buy one?

Where do you get the mystic doll?
they drop off of the Lizardman Mystics. The closest one to Ogguk is if you turn left out of Ogguk and keep going left in line with the Moonshrine
Grapok is near the shaman guild. He is at coords p440 by p1121. You'll know you are in the area when ya see a female ogre shammie named Marda. Take the passage leading Southeast. It goes into a central room with many passages. Grapok is in the one second on the right as you enter.

Actually, it looks like you don't have to do it in order. I turned in four pieces of lizard meat for the bracer. I talked to him and he told me what the next quest is. I already had two dolls so I figured I'd try giving him one and it worked. I got the legs. So there.

Where do i get them? IVE KILLED OVER 500 LIZARDMEN SCOUTS/Mystics/foragers/hatchlings/broodlings its not cool... and 1 more Q where is the guy behind Shaman guild?
The lizard tails ~do~ drop (saw a few today) off of lizardman warriors to the SW of the river. Maybe 1 in 3? They seemed pretty common.

It's true, there is NO SUCH THING AS A LIZARD TAIL!!! Maybe is doesn't drop anymore, if thats the case the people at Sony are being lazy.

Greet'ins! Ta me again! Fer Lizard Tails tiz a bit tricky! Best ta do, is camp a Lizard camp and kill what pops. Da tails are a rare drop tiz seems, and ther look like a green sort ta spiral. Tiz takes time, but I know ya can do it! Found one on a corpse once, didnt know what tiz was fer then. Now kickin myselv!

Are there troll beastmaster quests equivalent to this? I want to try a troll untwinked so the beastmaster equipment quests are important to me.

Yes. All the races that an be beastlords get this armor. It is all the same stats just called different names. My friend has an untwinked troll and it is great DO THIS QUEST

I've looked for over an hour and i can't find any giant bats!
Follow the trail to the east towards the Troll swamp - you'll find some overthere.

I found them across the bridge in the dangerous area. I waited by the zone to Rathe mountains so I could run if I got a marsh bear on me.

this is really nice stuff got all of it form my bestlord in about 2 hours with a 19 war might have gone a little quicker with tracking

I spent about 6 hours going from level 1-6 in Feerrott, the last 2 hours of that was spent running around looking for a Giant Bat. They did not seem to be spawning at all last night. I talked to a level 8 Beastlord there, and he said he'd been looking for two days and hadn't seen any. What happened to the Giant bats?? Are they ultra-rare spawns or something? It was frustrating, since from posts I've seen on other boards, giant bats do indeed spawn in Feerrott, or at least have done so in the past.

Me found ta Giant Bats you talk ov by zone tov Troll Swamp and when me ventured over ta bridge near Ogre city. Shame me wasnt high enough to whack 'em! Hehe! Problem is, ovfers ar her tov, they whack tam Giant Bats for ter own. Best ta ask tem if ye find any Bat Fur if ya can hav some fer quest. Tay mostly always giv ya it. Hav fun!

Hmm, the latest patch seems to have fixed it - found lots of giant bats now.

It was a bracer which went in shoulder slot, but today its in the wrist slot to match the name.

If you look at the mystics you can see if they're holding the dolls. Otherwise there are 3 more camps on the north side of the river which spawn them.

to the left of the bridge when you do from town theres a lizard men canp with lvl 3-5 lizardmen. one of the spawns if lizardmen mystic's they drop the dolls i think its 1/5 of the times. the dolls are no drop and give +3 charisma. the mystics cast blind all the time :)
This stuff seems pretty decent but since when was a bracer a shoulder slot item?

This Quest is GrEaT for Low lvl Ogres=)...the stuff is so easy to get!
