If anyone was wondering about my previos post I finally got the rest of the book. A druid was kind enough to cast wolf form on me. That turned out to be the trick. Tried the thing with cammo on and moodoro wouldn't talk to me. Then a guard harm touched me for 700 hit points. So don't think cammo will help you finish the quest. Wolf form is the way to go. I'm still the only iksar i've ever seen walking around with one of these. Hope this helps you guys out.

Walking( well running actually with a sow from a lovely young druid girl) through HHP I decided to see if the bugger was up. Well what do you know, he was, so I rooted the gentleman, nuked him several times and hit him with my new centi warhammer I had bought earlier in the evening( very nice weapon in my humble opinion) and bang he's dead and the page is mine. Now to run to Qeynos and get the rest of the book. So not to bad all in all, nice for me, not so nice for all those that spent 6 hrs or so waiting, but sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

I get the page 30 from dylan Starshine, but when I tried to enter in qeynos the guards attacked an killed me. How in the hell could i get the next page?

Did this with my lvl 16 druid, in about two hours! went straight to moodoro in qeynos, paid the dough for the book and the jester. Went straight to HH pass, the guy wasnt there, so grouped orcs for a hour, came back, roots, nuke. And just like that had my completed book. Would recomend this to anyone

to the person above who said the smugglers will not aggro if you only cast on starsine that is not true and believe me i found out the hard way! i just happned to be passing through decided i would see if he was up luckily yup he was! the second i rooted him i then had the red smuggler hitting one of many deaths! but Ive got the page now so im a happy little halfling druid now!

ok this might bot be news to anyone but here goes. i did the stort cut like mentioned above, i went straight to moodoro and gave him the gd for the book then it took about ten tries to get the jester card. next went to hp and found the hidden campof smugglers, i went in under sup camo cause i wasn't sure if i'd get attack. note don't bother they won't attack you if your jusst sitting there. i sat and waited, waited, amd waited some more. was just about to give up when starshine pop'd. maybe this will help he pop'd about 130am cst. i've been tol he's a 6 hour spawn so you do the math it might save you from the boredom i went through :) con'd light blue at lvl 23. harm the other smugglers. then rooted and nuked. unfortinatly the root wore off and for some reason the other smugglers aggro'd. by the way starshiine pops under the tent by the fireplace. so i get kill. :( anyways i claim corpse and he's still up so i harm again then root and nuke this time i had no problems killing him. didn't even use half my mana up. looted and sat there with a BIG GRIN on my face for the next ten minutes or so. now i have the book. hope this helps. gogus furfoot... defender of the weak, beware the wraith of nature.

Ok, i have a level 32 druid and i was realy lazy to do this quest but I finally did it . It was about 3am (Saturday-night, Sunday morning) and I started camping him. It hit like 6am and then i told myself that I couldnt stay up and logged off, went to bed. Everyone was telling it gonna be a long wait blah blah blah. Well, on a Monday morning around 10am my time when people are usually at work or at school I thought i may be in luck and find him there uncamped. To my surprise, he was! Hence, if your going to go and kill him make sure you camp him when it's a week day (around morning time) when not that many players are around. He conned bright green to me (no duh) and he was so easy to kill that I could've probably just killed him from meleeing. This quest was really worth doing. I usualy equip the book when I am in a group and just stand back, nuking/healing/rooting. If I solo hunt then I switch back to my charred gaurdian shield. Plus, since the book is so light u can carry it around even if you don't plan on having it equipped at the moment. If you're a druid and are high enough to take on Starshine then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? I already regret not doing this quest earlier.

Went to kill Dylan yesterday afternoon. Camped of course. Asked for tell when he was dead. Timed it at 6.5 hrs. At 3 this morning got up and got on found him in camp and bingo +10 Wis +10 Mana. Easy quest for good drop. If you havent done it you should.

Obtained the book today :) a few tid bits the spawn took 7hrs 15 minutes if the kill time on the prior Starshine was given to me correctly his loc is pos49,pos131. He conned dark blue to me a 20th level druid. Easy kill..harmony(smugs around)..root..snare (resisted the first one) 4 careless lightnings and dead he didn't even move :) another note if the smugs arrgoe on you run up the cave to the left of his wooden lean to (tent thingy) jump the cliff and there are guards right there. Good luck all :)

Only a matter of time until VI nerfs this...I just started my 2nd char, a druid, whos madly twinked. I gotta lvl him up fast so I can do this quest before VI deletes it.

I took the short cut as well by giveing the gp rather then the trip to erudin. At first I would try to stop by when ever I got a chance, but got up one morning around 7:30 a.m. and there he was.
Root, nuke and nuke again. Got the page and gated out before the others could agro on me.

I arrived at Dyllin's spawn site shortly after a shamy had kiled him and the spawn seemd to be just over 6hours. He was very easy for a 26th druid, he resisted snare on the first try but after that was cake. 1 creeping crud and 3 careless later he was dead. Only one problem i discoverd the hard way that im now KOS with the corrupt guards, guess I should have done the quenos part first LOL. Live and learn. The form of wolf WILL work!

I don't know if this is considered a stratigy but since the spawn is so long this is what I did. I went and did the short cut asking the Erudite in Qeynos for the book and played his little game for the 1st page. Then I simply put the book away in the bank, and everytime I was in Highhold Pass I would stop by to see if Dyllan was there. All in all, I walked through there, saw him, killed him and now I'm a happy camper my camping time was null. One suggestion is to log on right after a patch. I'm sure that everything would be reset and then that would cut down on your waiting time. This item makes all the diffence in the world. Good luck everyone.

slow spawn someone needs shot over this one, the 2nd way work just fine, (given 2gp to moor). watch the guards killed me but i bound my self in the same are just incase that happened, i never get the lucky breaks, spell him , spell him hard, once you do melee combat with him the red sumggler will argo so, if you commit go for it hard. gg/ bte it took me roughtly 5 hrs to wait he spawn right where they say he does, and hes under the tent i was going to take a screen shot but forgot good luck, all this is up and runing don't let anyone talk you out of it.
