You say, 'Hail, Rilla Quickeyes'

Rilla Quickeyes says 'OH HI! This is soooo boring, I wish I had something else to do.'

You say, 'What armor?'

Rilla Quickeyes says 'Oh you want me to make some armor? If you're a druid I could make you some.

You say, 'I am a druid'

Rilla Quickeyes says 'I can make you a cap, tunic, sleeves, leggings, mantle, bracer, and boots. If you want other druid armor you'll have to talk to Edgar.

You say, 'What about the sleeves?'

Rilla Quickeyes says 'For the earth blessed sleeves you will have to go get me a cloud jewel, a mark of vitality, an etched diamond of nature, and a storm filled vial.

I am a 54 druid of Tribunal server, what do these items drop off of?
Just get nathsar

Just a comparison:

Quest sleeves:

AC 8 DEX+1 STA+3 WIS+4 HP+3 MANA+5 svFire+1

Nathsar Sleeves:

AC 8 DEX 4 WIS 4 AGI 4 VS DISEASE AND COLD 2

Outside of the 5 mana I would think the nathsar sleeves are just as good as the quest sleeves (not to mention that nathsar is that cool purple shade). I don't know the availablity of the other peices of Nathsar, but a halfway comptent group camping the Chardok ZI tunnel can get these sleeves without a problem, I've seen them drop as often as one per hour.

Compared that time to running around collecting quest piece after quest piece. It's nice to know we have quest armor that isn't at the level of Velious, but I don't see how the time in is going to equal the reward at the end.

Anyone see the legs yet? How are they when compared to Krommiff (one of the easier leg quests in the game).

Earth Blessed Sleeves
AC 8
DEX+1 STA+3 WIS+4 HP+3
MANA+5 svFire+1
Wt. 1.0 Size: Small
Class: DRU
Race: ALL

The sleeves appeared as newbie leather (on my Half Elf )with a *very* light smoke tint -- just enough to see there is a tint, but not really enough to change the actual color.
Etched Diamond?

Did the etched diamond drop from a mighty underbulk in twilight?

I've been killing PHs for almost 50 hours and never seen one spawn.

With the way these quest items are dropped on Luclin, having the whole zone to yourself is really a bad thing. If you're the only person killing off NPCs, then the chance for a quest NPC to spawn is pretty low and pretty slow. Look at Dawnshroud Peaks. People are there all the time, killing rockhoppers and zelniaks and wolves, almost 24/7. Both my shaman and my ranger have probably had more than half of the quest items that drop from zelniaks and wolves (mostly the same items), and have let others rot because they already had one in inventory. The major hangup with these Twilight Sea quests is the scarce availability of the various quest items. If more people would regularly hunt in those places like Tenebrous Mountains and Twilight Sea, then the quest items dropped there would be far more common and easy to obtain.

I suppose these quests were a great idea on paper, and challenging enough in implementation, but there was probably very little discussion on why people would *not* go to the various zones on the moon. In my experience, people generally stay away from zones that hinder their play experience in some way: Swamp of No Hope, Tenebrous Mountains, Emerald Jungle, Warsliks Wood, Scarlet Desert, Twilight Sea, Solusek's Eye, Kithicor Woods, etc.

The fact that people usually don't like to play in these zones, combined with the fact that to find your quest NPCs you have to kill nearly every other NPC in the zone of that race/type just for a chance to have it spawn, makes these quests about 10 times harder than they were probably meant to be, which is probably why most posts I've read here consider these quest rewards to be very poor compared to the time and effort involved in obtaining them.
