I looted a mark of deception off of one of the 'named' wolves in Dawnshroud at least a couple of times by now. I saw about 10 or 12 different wolves there in addition to the "a wolf". The plain old wolf does not aggro me when I am medding or even fighting the stonegrabbers for exp, but the odd ones always attack me if near. (Non-wolf form WoodElf Druid)
The mark looks like a non-stackable rune and sells to vendors for about 8 or 9 gold. They are pretty common in the zone. I would estimate 1 in 4 of the wolves are the 'named' ones and so based on the numbers, one of them is always on track.
