hello eveyone,
i think that the boots are nice. the quest doesn't give as much exp as i am sure many people would like but getting the items to turn in will give you the exp. for those rangers that want to stick to class based sets of armor for whatever reason, i would highly recommend not skipping the woodsman's set.
for a list of the spawn cycle for the gilded rod check under the gilded rod post. i added the spawn cycle there.

It's got some pieces that you can't get SS, but there are better back and neck pieces out there. Also if you're above 50, you can do better than this anyways. This should be meant more for lvl 35 to 45. Maybe the graphics are cool on it? Good luck with whatever you choose. The quests might be fun, and why play if you ain't gonna have fun. It always feels good to complete something :)

You are level 55; Twilight is not meant for you! Folks need to check the level of the quest before cutting down the result. This is nice armor for a Lvl 40ish Ranger.

Twilight Armor might be worth getting. I can see now I will just have to wait until I can do my SS armor quests. My best advice to people wanting this for their ranger is save themselves a lot of time and go get Ivy. It's pretty much the same thing and much less aggrevating to aquire.

Here are the stats to the boots:
ac 10 str 3 dex 1 wis 3 hp 5 mana 3 sv cold 1
You can get the star jewel off any mob in Luclin (it's about as random as getting a black pearl), the mark of timber from the wooden sun revenant in Scarlet Desert, and the gilded steel rod from a hardened underbulk in Twilight Sea (there's an underwater tunnel in the minnow area that leads to a different part of Twilight Sea).
Personally, these boots are only somewhat better than ivy boots (ac 10 sta 5). They should've added more AC to these boots. As with most quests, by the time you get these boots, you're better off buying better ranger boots.

aye, agreed, the shrouded boots that are no drop(forget the zone atm) are alot better. I believe are 12ac or better and +4 across the board stat wise. i dont believe theres any resist but they are listed here.
i plan on going there soon to get a pair. currently wearing the GM quest boots from halloween still.

Found the a star jewel off of a wolf in Dawnshoud if we post where this stuff can be found maybe someone will get this armor so we can see what it is.
