You say, 'i am a magician' Galdara Swiftwind says 'Very good, the pieces that I have are the sandals, mask, cloak, gloves, choker, belt, and a staff. You say, 'What choker?' Yes the stats suck for a level 45. But if you have a peep whos in those zones, making a little exp, why not collect the random pieces and have fun. You can trade quest pieces for other items, or complete the quest and give to your lower alts who will have a unique piece of equip. Just my 2cp's )
I saw that for the mobs you need approx level 45. Around that level every mage is probably wearing a Black Alloy Medallion or one of the player-made +str/+int amulets. Both are way way better then this item.
Is there a point for doing this quest at all; besides selling the result for less pp then 2 hours work in Rathe Mnts can do?

Fiery Gourd: off of a Enraged Rockhopper - Mons Letalis
Stats (suck) : Ac3 Dex3 Int3 HP2 Mana5 woo freaking hoo
Heh a bit dissapointing considering the time invested to gather the quest components.
