So in the level ranges to do this quest it says 0-60 so I was wondering can a level 1 kill these titans or does 0-60 just mean they can buy the hides because I am a Level 18 Mage and I was wondering if I could kill these creatures?

I was asked to help with this quest and you need to be aware that the titans cannot be speed modified - whic means no snare or root - which for a druid sucks. Fear animal works. But you will get bad faction with the cat people here which coupled with the constant aggro of the other animals makes this zone painful. Be very sure you know what you letting yourself in for.

Completed the Ancient Snake Skin quest yesterday and received the Cloak so it's still broken and I am having problems selling this item for 5k so much for easy money

5k it should go quick. I have had no prob selling more than 2 of these for 7-9k each, or trades with pp for 10k values. You just have to know how to word it ).

With my 51 mage on Povar i completed both the Leggings quest and Cloak quest with relative ease. Giang Yin was not that difficutl with Vocerate Earth with DS on and BO3 tanking it. Pet survived with about 30% health. I pulled with Elemental Maelstrom, and then Shock of swords it, and let my pet aggro for a while, after which i stood far back and nuked it with Lava Bolt 3 times when the panda Dropped. Easy. Ghostback and Snowbeast werent even a challenge with DS on pet up.

i killed snowbeast and gort 2 pelts 1 fang , Question 1 do i need to turn in both snow's and prowlers pelts for cloak? question 2 what are fangs for ?

I have done these quests. I will try to answer a few questions here. You can do the quest in any order. If you just want the legs, you donot have to do the cloak first. The titan are a random spawn and I donot think they have ph's. From my experience the most common spawns are the Titan Panda and Titan Ape. The rares are the Sabertooth, Ancient snake, and I have never seen the Leopard. As of 10/05/01 it is confirmed that the robe quest is still nonfunctional. It was thought that the notation from the rescent patch that stated a "quest" had been corrected and is now giving out the correct item in stonebrunt mountains, was the correction to fix the robe quest. The robe quest does not appear to be the corrected quest. If you do the robe quest you will end up with the cloak. Also, the platnium thread can be purchased in thurgardain for about 225pp depending on faction and cha. Lastly, I have had a theory that if you do the quests in the order given, it might in fact produce a robe. I haven't had time to check this.

For the leggings, do you have to hand in both the gigantic gorrila hide AND gigantic panda hide? Or does handing each separate hide each wield the same reward?

I handed in the ancient snake skin and a plat thread after patch today, got the cloak. Oh well, maybe next patch =\
Did you try checking the optional patch? Maybe you need to download something there to get the new reward, im not shur if its that couse i didnt try it last ngiht and im at work now. Just a thought.
To answer a couple questions below. First off all the mobs are high enough for a 55 to get the loot, and a couple are high enough for a 60 to get the loot. The accuall mobs range from 38-46. Prowler of the jungle being about 38-42, Snowbeast being like 39-43, Slyder the ancient about 40-44, Old ghostback about 42-44, and Giang Yin about 44-46. ALL the titans are coded so there unrootable, unsnareable and undarknessable. All of them are pretty doable for 3 or 4 level 40s, tank, couple nukers, and a healer. I say this from experiance as my 42 mage, my brothers 42 sk and a friends 44 druid took down old ghostie and giang yin, the 2 hardest titans.
As for evils with the hides, make an erudin wiz and do the turn ins. The quest giver is on the 2nd floor of the wiz guild in erudin in a red robe. The name is listed in the quest above.

How fast do these guys run? I was thinking I might be able to take them by nuking, yondering, nuking, yondering, and repeating. Of course, I could just get a group to do this with, but I seem to be the only person in my guild willing to wreck a faction.

Ok it says lvl 0-60 but other posts were telling me they were lvl 40-44 so what lvl are they.

Or maybe the evils will get something better than a crummy staff :o the fangs are rarer then the hides. From my experiance

I dont completely understand the whole hide/fang thing, i mean if your (evil) and have both fangs how can you do the quest in erudin? is there a clone quest in paineel using fangs? if your (evil) can you avoid the faction crap and just give the fangs to a (good) person and have them turn them in to the guy in erudin and have them give you the reward?

I been hunting in sbm for about a week now, in that time i killed all 5 titans snowbeast seem to be up the most ghost back is also up alot the panda hes around just not that much,the leopard and the snake are the rarest from what i seen. i did both the cloak and leggings quest never go the snake skin to see if its still broken. two titans can be up at same time i seen it and i think the spawn rate is random one day i would see just one next 3 would pop within a hr /shrug. but being a 54 mage all were pritty ez but the panda for me i had to chain pet to get him down but none of my nukes or malosie were resisted

ok im a dark elf innoruuk worshiping necromancer, i think im beyond kos in erudin, any way to raise faction so i can do this quest? or is it possible that the same quest can be started by a paineel npc? does faction have to be ally to do the quest?

a ez way for any race to do this quest good or evil ones is to get all the pelts(good) or fangs(evil) and make a newbie eru. all the items are dropable and the reward is dropable. or u can have a eru friend hand in the items for ya. all the same ull get it reward and dont need to work of faction

Slyder is the snake powler is the leapord snowbeast tiger ghost back ape ging yin panda. powler and snowbeast hides get you cloak, ging yin and ghost back gets the legs, and the sylder snake scale quest is brokren for robe. You use slyder tooth and poison sac for another quest. the rattle is for painel quest you need ghost back and snowbeast and ging yin fang with rattle to get weapon. The quest with sylder tooth and poison sac is brokren but anyone know how to use thick cuastic liquid give me a shout on brell ot here
