Weltria Ostriss is located at -1100, -240 on the top floor of the Erudin Library.
You say, 'Hail, Weltria Ostriss' Weltria Ostriss says 'Good day, ______. I assist in maintaining an accurate collection of historical tomes here in the great library of Erudin. One of our citizens recently escaped the dungeons of the Kobold warrens and tells of a Kobold lore keeper who keeps a collection of scrolls detailing the history of their kind. Are you capable of obtaining those scrolls for our library?' You say, 'I am capable.' Weltria Ostriss says 'Take this case and return it to me when you have collected all of the scrolls.' Receive Large Scroll Case. Lorekeeper Roggik is located in The Warrens and drops seven different Dusty Kobold Scrolls, which identify as the following: Rise of King Gkar and Klan Kolbok The Ascension of Rolfron Zek The Fall of Kolbok The Kobold Age of Blood The Council and the Dwarves Kobolds in the Age of Scale The Arrival of Rallos Zek The scrolls are written in Elder Teir'Dal and detail the history of the kobolds. Combine these 7 scrolls in the case to make the Kobold History Collection. Hand the Kobold History Collection to Weltria Ostriss. Weltria Ostriss says 'You have my gratitude, ______! This will make a valuable addition to our historical volumes and perhaps offer some insight into the workings of Kobold society.' Your faction standing with Merchants of Erudin has been adjusted by 5. Your faction standing with High Council of Erudin has been adjusted by 3. Your faction standing with High Guard of Erudin has been adjusted by 3. You gain experience!! You receive 50 platinum from Weltria Ostriss. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Ok just to let you know the lore keeper will drop all the scrolls if you kill him no matter what lvl you are as far as i can tell. I got bored one day and killed stuff in the warrens for faction. (52 necro) he dropped the scrolls when he died.

Warren drops are restricted as such;
Triviallized drops are those that are
Magic, and/or
Lore, and/or
No-Drop.
As a 38th Necro gathering faction, I was able to collect the scrolls, which are none of the above, as well as Barbecued Erudite steaks(+3 Int). Have not done the quest, as I did not know what to do with the scrolls, but they WILL drop for us, fellow Farmers ;P~

I think that perhaps a few alliances are forming around the world of Norrath, and it is truely amazing that Verant is doing more than just adding stuff to help level. Things I have noticed:
Cazic Thule and the Iksar are moving in on Faydwer... big war possibly?
The Teir'Dal are seeking an alliance with the Iksar, hoping to help destroy the Elves and dispose of them...
The Kobolds are slowly lifting the curse bestowed upon all of Rallos' creations, and this new "Rolfron" Zek ( Forlorn, one who is forgotten, aka, Rallos ) is their God. They are trying to strike up an alliance between the Kobolds and the Minotaurs, and I wouldn't doubt that they approach the Goblins sometime too...
A famine, caused by the Bloodsabres of Bertoxx, is causing Karana to lose ground, and a famine to plague all of Norrath proper...

I agree..But has everyone forgotten Bertoxx is (most likely) a necromancer? heh...Let me bring you on a trip if Norrathian History..this ALL started when the servers were young..When 50 was the level cap..When Velious was unknown..When The Green Mist came down upon the Shissar...When Qeynos hills was infested with UNDEAD...UNDEAD I TELL YOU!!! This started with that GM Event, and I am sure it will not end soon.

I remember the undead infestation, started right before halloween before even Kunark came out. One more thought..a morbid one tho
Maybe VI is setting up all these disasters in case one day EQ dies down and there are only a few hundred people on each server, then they'll combine servers and when the last few get to small they'll just finish all these events and have Norrath destroyed (the end of EQ)

yes i myself am an Iksar and would if not like at least find usfull the aliance you are speaking of hehe. finaly maybe well be able to go to other city whitout spending 3 days upgrading faction. and i like the fact that it is the evil gods that are winning. tho i can see verant comming whit there big heros and al that are gonna save norrath and blah blah blah. pff but this is interesting

I finished this quest, what you all are missing is the fact that there are only 7 scrolls. Combine them in the case, turn it in, and you get faction and I got like 20 some plat, the most money i've ever gotten in 1 quest actually.

there is a Kobold missionary in steamfront that drops a scroll that might be #8 in this quest not completely sure though as i have yet to get the first 7 scrolls.
As I was nearing level 14, still killing time and Minos in Steamfont, a new creature was added to the Mino glen - the Kobold Missionary. When killed, he gives a +Heretics faction hit and drops "an encrypted document". The document Identifies as "The Doctrine of Rolfron Zek"
