Brew Day: There Are Wood Ships

This brew day task was added for the 24th anniversary. You can obtain it from Orr the Brave in Crescent Reach at /waypoint -1155, -1602, -87 on the first floor in the northeast cove in the brewing area. He is on the find tool CTRL F.
You say, 'Hail, Orr the Brave' Orr the Brave says, 'Oi there. Were you looking for [more to do]?' You say, 'Yes, I am looking for more to do.' Orr the Brave says, 'Well, I am looking into getting [new barrels] to age the mead in.' You say, 'What new barrels?' Orr the Brave says, 'Decisions have been alluding me. Maybe you [can check] with me friend Nore? See what she recommends.' You say, 'I can check.' You have been assigned the task 'There Are Wood Ships'. Orr the Brave says, 'She has always been so patient with me. You can find her in the Burning Woods.' Orr is looking for some extra help in making his mead. He needs new barrels to age his mead in. He has asked that you head to the Burning Woods and talk to Nore. She is a master cooper and he wants to see what she would recommend. He is a bit hopeful that she might donate to the cause. Head to Burning Woods and find Nore. Talk to her about some new barrels for Orr. You say, 'Hail, Nore the Patient' Nore the Patient says, 'Isn't this piece of [wood] just spectacular? Look at this bit of petrification.' You say, 'Yes, that piece of wood is nice. Orr sent me to ask you a question.' Nore the Patient says, 'Orr? What does that pest [want].' You say, 'He wants some barrels to brew his mead in.' Nore the Patient says, 'Barrels? Eh. Mead does age well in oak or [aged bourbon] oak barrels.' You say, 'What aged bourbon?' Nore the Patient says, 'Well yes. It is a charred oak barrel that has previously been used to age whiskey. I may have a few barrels, but I can't just hand them over to you. Hrrm. If you [get] me new barrels, I can give you what I have.' You say, 'I can get you new barrels.' You have been given: Nore's Barrel Planer Your task 'There Are Wood Ships' has been updated. Nore the Patient says, 'Great. I look forward to your return.' Quest Text: Hunt the oaken treants for their fresh oak wood, and loot their Oaken Treant Limbs. Kill 8 of a young oaken treant or an aged oaken treant. A good spawn point for these is at /waypoint -1400, 1900, -380 a young oaken treant or an aged oaken treant drops Oaken Treant Limb. Loot 8 of these. These are ground spawns in the giant fort, they look like purple collectibles. Quest Text: Craft the Oaken treant limbs into Shaped Staves. It will take two limbs to create one stave. Put 2 Oaken Tree Limbs in Nore's Barrel Planer and hit combine. Do this again 3 more times. You will end up with 4 Shaped Staves. You have fashioned the items together to create something new: Shaped Stave. Your task 'There Are Wood Ships' has been updated. A barrel can be crafted from two staves and one Kromdul Metal Hoop. Put 2 Staves and 1 Kromdul Metal Hoops in Nore's Barrel Planer and hit combine. This will make Fresh Oak Barrel. Do this again to make another Fresh Oak Barrel. You have fashioned the items together to create something new: Fresh Oak Barrel. Your task 'There Are Wood Ships' has been updated. You have fashioned the items together to create something new: Fresh Oak Barrel. Your task 'There Are Wood Ships' has been updated. Quest Text: Head to the fallen meteorite to char one of the Fresh Oak Barrel. There is a meteor in the middle of the zone in a crater, you will get an update standing on top of it. One of your Fresh Oak Barrel will also change to a Fresh Charred Oak Barrel. The smoldering coals have charred the inside of the barrel. Your task 'There Are Wood Ships' has been updated. Quest Text: Head back to Nore and deliver the Fresh Oak Barrel. Give her the Fresh Oak Barrel. She doesn't like to stop walking so you have to try and hand her the items while walking. You offered 1 Fresh Oak Barrel to Nore the Patient. You have been given: Aged Oak Barrel Your task 'There Are Wood Ships' has been updated. Nore the Patient says, 'That is a nice-looking barrel. That will do nicely. Here you go.' You complete the trade with Nore the Patient. Quest Text: Deliver the Fresh Charred Oak Barrel to Nore. Give Nore the Fresh Charred Oak Barrel as well. They are in the little rooms inside the giant fort, not in the open.
When you click on the meteorite to make the fresh charred oak barrel it puts the on your cursor and it is not no trade meaning you can drop it like i did. had to go back to crescent reach and get it all over again from scratch. you can't make another barrel by clicking on the meteor. i think i'll just pass on this. 25 years and they still find ways to ***** people over.

Nore the Patient is anything but patient. She paths N-S on the dirt path that is west of the Meteor crater. You will find that she will not respond to hails and in order to complete the tasks, you must do a turn-in on the run. Only then will she stop. She will also not respond to anyone who does not have the quest except to comment about Brew Day. The Kromdul Metal Rings are in the huts in the fort. Blue shinies on the floor.
