This is a Tier 3 raid in the Night of Shadows expansion.
Say ready to zone in. Luclin, Mistress of Shadow and Loda Kai appear on the bridge once the event is complete. Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'It is decided as I expected it would be. There is one of you that I must speak to.' Luclin makes a small gesture and summons Loda Kai from his prison. 'Things must be made clear.' Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'Child of Norrath, you and your people have shown to me that you are worthy creatures. Since your arrival here you have lived in harmony with this world. You people have become part of the cycle here. You belong here now.' Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'I have seen your secrets, child. I know who you are, what you desire, and what you fear. I like you, Loda Kai, and would make you an offer, here in front of your people and your city. I do so openly, as I have learned that not everything should be secret. Some words have greater power when shouted than when whispered. I have cut ties with my most important servant, my Knight of Shadow. I have sought someone to replace him for many of your generations. I would offer that title to you.' Loda Kai says, 'What, exactly, does that mean? That sounds too much like being a servant. What would you expect from me?' Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'I would ask you to be my presence when needed, my sword when necessary. In exchange I can grant you the power to enforce my will and the understanding of my needs. You would transcend the mortal realm. You would live forever. And when I have no need of you, you would be free to do as you will. Of course, I would require that you do not act in opposition to my desires. What I offer you now I have only given to one other. I do not make this choice lightly, nor would I expect you to accept such an offer without consideration.' Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'You will know things that few know. It is within my power to hear any words spoken in shadow, and deeds done in secret. Come with me now and I will give you a taste of that power, show you what I would need of you. Will you come? I invite you here, in sight of these people and your entire city so that you will know that I tell the truth.' Loda Kai glances around, 'It was you that stopped that Akheva's power, the one that would have destroyed us all. She said that you told the Akheva to destroy us. But you stopped her. Why? What is all this about?' Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'I simply showed my appreciation for the temple they rebuilt in my name. Their taking my visit as some sort of sign is their own choice, though I was not surprised by it. Very little surprises me. When Vius Vex tried to kill you, I was forced to interfere. I would not have my power used against you, and especially not in my name. The Akheva did, however, force my hand. When I stepped in and took that power from her, doing so showed me my own desire. I could not see you destroyed, at least not until I could make you this offer.' Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'Now, come with me or not. We will talk and you will decide if you want to become my Knight, or you will return to your life and I will begin my search again.' Loda Kai pauses for a long moment. 'I'll go with you and see what you have to say. I'm not promising anything, but I will listen.' Luclin, Mistress of Shadow says, 'This is the decision I expected. Let us go, child.'
