Asteinnon Fe`Dhar is located in a room just beyond the maze, immediately to your left once you've ported into the giant staircase section.
You say, 'Hail, Asteinnon Fe`Dhar' Asteinnon Fe`Dhar speaks in a deep tone, 'Greetings. I wish to speak only to a shaman, so I might aid them with protection from the world in the form of armor.' You say, 'What armor?' Asteinnon Fe`Dhar says 'For you I shall make a coif, breastplate, sleeves, bracers, gauntlets, leggings, and boots. Each piece is a quest unto itself. To seek the components, you must search the lands for them and test the power of the spirit within.' You say, 'What breastplate?' Asteinnon Fe`Dhar says 'A breastplate to protect the spirit within. I shall make one for you granted that you retrieve the components I shall need. An unadorned chain tunic and three pieces of black marble. I await your return.' Gems are dropped off various NPCs in Velketor's Labyrinth, Siren's Grotto, Cobalt Scar and The Wakening Land. Unadorned chain armor is dropped randomly in the Halls of Testing inside the Temple of Veeshan. Bring the three gems and armor piece back and in exchange, you'll receive your reward, experience and faction. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Do you have to be level 50 in order to start this quest?
I was looking at the Kael and Skyshrine BP and noticed a few differences. At higher lvls would a shammy want those little bit of extra resists on the Skyshrine or the AC from the Kael?? Trying to get a plan together...any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Personally, I would prefer the higher resists. This is assuming that you have a nice shield and a weapon with some AC on it. Also having high resists frees up your ear slots so you can equip better no-drop earrings instead of having to worry about the blue diamond gear.

The chain is no drop. It drops in Temple of Veeshan as the other posts say. You will need at least 3 groups of 55+ people to drop a single mob here. Sometimes casters that are less than 55+ are allowed to join raids, just make sure that you have your resist gear on and hide....ALLOT. Most of these mobs have AoE spells that hit for 300hps everytime.

Are the unadorned peices any good at all? Are they no-drop? For some reason allakhazam doesn't have them on their search engine. Just wondering... I plan on doing the quests myself as soon as I get into my 50's.

My unadorned tunic dropped 2 days ago in East halls of Testing from a fiery guardian. The black marbles were pretty easy to get from Siren's Grotto to finish off the quest and it sure looks sweet.

the armor component of the Skyshrine quest armors drop in Temple of Veeshan in the testing halls, no faction hit for mobs in testing halls
