Nights of the Dead: The Rot's Sporali

This Halloween seasonal task was added in October of 2022. The task starts with Tully Alford in Blightfire Moors. You can find him in the trading outpost in the center of the zone at /waypoint -132, 610, 18. He is on the find tool CTRL F.
You say, 'Hail, Tully Alford' Tully Alford says, 'Hail again, ______. Did you need more direction? Did the decay go to your brain? Or were you looking for more ways to serve the [season]?' You say, 'I do enjoy the season of fright. How can I help?' Tully Alford says, 'As you know I am collecting seasonally rare [components]. Things that I have been blessed with knowledge of.' You say, 'Do you need help collecting these components?' Tully Alford says, 'You seem awfully interested in helping. Maybe I [should] keep this to myself.' You say, 'What you should do is work on your spell and let me gather your supplies.' You have been assigned the task 'The Rot's Sporali'. Tully Alford says, 'To the north of here, you will run into a marvelous gift of decay. Some of the sporali have been corrupted. They have been chosen to spread the blight of decay. Hunt these spores down and dry them out.' Tully Alford is working on a new spell celebrating the Nights of the Dead. He has accepted your help in harvesting seasonally available spell components. His motives remain highly suspect. Head north to the decaying dragon carcass. You will need to hunt and gather the afflicted sporali spreaders' mushroom caps. Then head to the haunted fire ring to dry them out. Once you have prepared the dried-out death caps, return them to Tully. Some of the Tree peeps in the center swamp area will drop this item. Ground spawn in center swamp area, can be pre-collected before getting quest. There is a campfire east of Gubjak the Lost. Combine all the looted items in the container you were given (WARNING MUST BE IN ZONE) Reward(s): Ghoulish Grape Juice: (AC 160, HP 1200, Mana 1100, End 400, Corrupt 5. Before you do the combine make sure you're standing on the fire.

==>Loc (1840, -2000), where NPC <Gubjak the lost> is at.
10. Harvest a truss of dead feathered grass 0/1 Blightfire Moors
==>Ground spawn in center swamp area, can be pre-collected before getting quest.
By the way, this quest is repeatable, but Lockout: 5 Hours

I'm stuck on this part. I've hunted all diseased creatures, even the sporali but no luck. Is this a rare drop??

Having the same issue. I've been killing the blightfire giants in that swamp area for hours and no Ichor. I'm giving up. Maybe it'll work next year.
No, the ichor is common drop but usually just off the giants in the rock area in the swamp - where you also pick up the grass.

These items can be looted as extra from the Nights Of The Dead: The Rot Within [106+] quest.
