You say, 'Hail, a worried shade' A worried shade says, 'Ah, are you come to [save] Mayong?' The creature, despite being made of cloth and darkness, looks somehow sheepish and a bit despondent.' You say, 'save' A worried shade says, 'Well, then there may still be hope. Mayong has been imprisoned and I have been sent here to help guide you to where they are holding him. I hope you have brought a [large] force. I worry that a [small] group will simply be destroyed.' You say, 'small' A worried shade says, 'Good enough, I hope. I can send you to a location close to where Mayong is being held. I must warn you that we are in the heart of the Lady of Shadow's realm. Defeating her minions here may prove beyond even your power. However, I can teleport you to where you need to be when you are [ready].' You have received a request timer for 'Oubliette of Light': 0d:0h:1m remaining. You have been assigned the task 'Oubliette of Light'. You say, 'ready' A worried shade says, 'Into the shadows you go.' LOADING, PLEASE WAIT... You have entered Oubliette of Light.
Quest Text: The lord of Dreadspire has been taken prisoner by the goddess Luclin. Mayong's servant says that the goddess desires his power and it falls upon you to rescue him and prevent this. The servant implied that Luclin would use that power to some devestating effect should she get it. Reward(s): 177 platinum 8 silver 3 copper You gain experience! 45 Scarlet Marks Achievement: Hero of Basilica of Adumbration (as long as you're in zone when the chest is opened) : you may now enter Bloodfalls. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

No, you have to be in the zone BEFORE you open the chest to get credit :)

That is no longer the case - I was sitting in Shadow Valley when the chest was opened, and I received:
- Savior of Basilica of Adumbration
- Oubliette of Light: Graspless
- Oubliette of Light: Complete Control
- and Oubliette of Light: Unchained.
Once I zoned in to the Oubliette of Light mission, I received:
Hero of Basilica of Adumbration
Basilica of Adumbration Traveler
I then moved to Bloodfalls an was able to zone in and receive:
Bloodfalls Traveler
Explorer of Terror of Luclin
- Savior of Basilica of Adumbration
- Oubliette of Light: Graspless
- Oubliette of Light: Complete Control
- and Oubliette of Light: Unchained.
Once I zoned in to the Oubliette of Light mission, I received:
Hero of Basilica of Adumbration
Basilica of Adumbration Traveler
I then moved to Bloodfalls an was able to zone in and receive:
Bloodfalls Traveler
Explorer of Terror of Luclin

I was in the task, but not in the mission zone. Even though you can get credits for achievements for the mission, it appears you actually have to be in the zone when the chest opens in order to get the Hero of Basilica of Adumbration achievement (which grants access to bloodfalls).
