If you are able to destroy either of my mortal foes, bring me proof of your exploits and you will be known as the hero of Kael Drakkel.' You say, 'What powers?' King Tormax laughs deeply, 'I speak of the foolish old dragon Yelinak and that pitiful Dain Frostreaver.' Dain is one tough dwarf in Icewell Keep. You'll want to bring some friends to dispatch him. Turning his head into King Tormax yields you the Belt of Dwarf Slaying. Your faction standing with King Tormax has been adjusted by 500. Your faction standing with Kromzek has been adjusted by 500. Your faction standing with Yelinak has been adjusted by -250. Your faction standing with Dain Frostreaver IV could not possibly get any worse. You gain experience! ok am I the only one who hasn't noticed the other option? What about yelinak, has no one tried killing him and turning in his "whatever body part it is" in, since the king says he wants either one killed?

hello yes dain is lvl 70 with 300k hp

There is hte 300k dain and the 450k dain...
As it says thats the hp, there are 2 versions.
Actually, If you were to ask an uber guild that can kill him they will probably tell you the hardest part about killing him is pulling him, the actually fight is just long.
So in essence, Dain is easy...

Actually they are called 300 Dain and 450 Dain because thats what they max for...and while being a monk who pulled dain i agree that its a ***** ;p but in essence the fight is still hard pretty damn hard, well ez dain isnt that hard but hard dain is..its impossible to keep agro on one tank, not only because of his size that makes it hard to use prox agro but because he banishes and he does it a LOT..and each time he banishes theres a good chances hes gonna chew up a cpl dmg dealers.
350/425 are what he hits for.
The belt is nice, would expect it to go to casters, specically Cleric, shamen, and chanters first then meelees that don't use a haste belt. DPS beats ac, For MA Wars to help hold agro (More hits, more agro) nothing ruins your day like the MA loosing agro on the AoW on enrage. Others more damage >> All.
Saves are nice, but as it is with bardsong/druid I'm capping out resists as it is with out resist gear.

Yes, all them (Tmax, Dain, Yel) drop the head every time.

The best guild on my server, Tarew Mar, has killed Dain atleast 5 times if not more, so he cant be that hard.

The dwarf king gives the same quest , but there you need to turn in
King Tormax head :)

Dain is red to my 60 druid, so is 2 of his guards around him. And the other 5 or so guards are blue.

There is two versions of him, one whom hits in the lower 300's and one who hits in the mid 400's. Good Luck! heh

Hmm, if you get this trinket for killing a little old Dwarf, just imagine what he'll give for the Dragon's skull.
Dain would be harder. Would have to clear out a cood chunck of dwarfs around were the Dain spawns then have someone FD pull him (and pry) to seperate the 3 63+ers (Dain and 2 Guards) before the respawn. Cause if you got 3 63+ mobs you might as well think of ways to get your corpses back. Dragon would be easiser as he is in a big room by himself.

Dragon would go down faster then the dain of the dwarves himself. Red to a 60 with guards that are also red to help him.
This is a very VERY nice item.
