NOTE: A patch on April 22, 2015, added a work-around to obtain bottleneck items from Phinigel Autropos (Kedge Keep), Gorenaire (Dreadlands), and Talendor (Skyfire Mountains), including the Torn Books required in this quest.

    - In Kedge Keep, a harbinger of the seas can help adventurers get their epic 1.0 pieces that would normally drop from Phinigel Autropos.
    - In Dreadlands, a harbinger of frost can help adventurers get their epic 1.0 pieces that would normally drop from Gorenaire.
    - In Skyfire Mountains, a harbinger of flame can help adventurers get their epic 1.0 pieces that would normally drop from Talendor.

Find someone to port you to the Plane of Sky. Remember that all buffs are wiped when zoning in. Hand a friend at least 500 pp 1 cp. Have your friend buy a Veeshan's Key from the Keymaster on the first island. Your friend must then head to the northern teleportation dish on that island, hold the key on his cursor, and click the dish to enter the quest room. Have your friend chat with Dason Goldblade:

    You say, 'Hail, Dason Goldblade'

Dason Goldblade says 'Greetings, ______. Are you pure of heart and soul?'

You say, 'I am pure of heart and soul.'

Dason Goldblade says 'Then choose. Do you wish your purity to be tested by Gregori or Dirkog?'

You say, 'I wish to be tested by Dirkog.'

Dason Goldblade says 'Dirkog is a gruff one, but his faith is what all paladins should strive to equal. Read this book and return it to me. After you have done so, I shall summon Dirkog to test you.'

You receive a book called Walk with Evil, which reads:
    The Fall From Grace

I be tellin' ye that I know the way me mate fell from the grace of his god there. He be fightin' and bashin' out in front of Butcher. The gobbies were movin' in makin' their presence known, and the King 'imself was there fightin. We got 'em back, pushin' and pushin' till they ain't fightin' any more but he went on a fightin'.

They were screamin' and hollerin', beggin' fer their measly little lives and he warn't listenin'. Ye see, he was caught up in the ol' battle rage and was a fightin' like there was no tomorrow. The gods don't be lookin' kindly on this and he be a warrior now, plain and simple.

I guess he likes it that way, but he be whinin' all the time how he doesn't hear Brell singin' in his ear no more. Aye, 'twas a sad day, one that I be takin' to me grave.

When you're done, have your friend hand it back to Dason. Dason despawns and Dirkog Steelhand spawns.

    Dason Goldblade says 'Farewell.'

Dirkog Steelhand says 'May faith guide you always.'

    Dason Goldblade says 'Farewell.'

    You say, 'Hail, Dirkog Steelhand'

Dirkog Steelhand says 'Leave me be, ye orc kissin' son o' Innoruuk!'

You say, 'I am not a son of Innoruuk.'

Dirkog Steelhand says 'Eh? Ye say that ye ain't one o' the cursed dark elf dogs? Well then, laddie, are ye ready to get started or are ye here fer somethin' else??'

You say, 'I am here for the holy swords.'

What is the in-game text or lore that leads you to say this?

Dirkog Steelhand says 'Eh, lad? What was that? Ye wish to hear o' holy swords? Well, lad, I ain't the one ye be needin' t' talk to!'

You say, 'Who do I need to talk to?'

Dirkog Steelhand says 'A follower o' the water god he be, an' one o' the most powerful holy knights e'er to walk Norrath. His name be Inte Akera, an' he kin tell ye what ye be wantin' t' know.'

You say, 'Where is Inte Akera?'

Before you continue you will need to have better than apprehensive faction to Deepwater Knights in order for Inte Akera to not just hand items back to you.

Dirkog Steelhand says 'Ah, I see ye wish t' speak with him! Why didn't ye say that earlier, laddie? It would've saved ye some trouble! If ye wish to speak with him, ye must donate some spare change t' me ale.. er, t' me holy crusade fund! Well, lad, what d' ye say?'

You say, 'How much should I donate?'

Dirkog Steelhand says 'Eh? Oh, 500 platinum will be plenty, laddie!'

Have your friend hand him 500 pp.

Dirkog Steelhand says 'Thank ye, laddie! He's awaitin ya up top!'

Inte Akera immediately spawns in the windmill on the fourth island (/loc?), commonly known as the Horse Island, Griffon Island, or Pegasus Island. He will stay up for about five minutes before despawning if no one has hailed him, so it's best for you to get yourself there while your friend does the hand-ins and dialogues.

    You say, 'Hail, Inte Akera'

Inte Akera says 'Greetings, ______. I am Inte Akera. I have retired to the Plane of Sky after a long life toiling on Norrath's soil. Have you retreated here as well, or are you merely visiting?'

    You say, 'What toil?'

Inte Akera says 'Long ago, before I came to this plane, I fought in the name of Prexus against all the evils that plagued Norrath. In that time, I have done everything one can do. I have fought for the causes of good. I gained the esteem of kings and lords. The sword I hold is but one example of the treasures I have sought and won. I have accomplished all that I can, have all that I desire. My toil is done and now I sit among the clouds in peace, occasionally blessing those who seek it and are found worthy.'

You say, 'I seek your blessing.'

Inte Akera says 'Many come seeking my blessings. No matter how minor the blessing they ask, all must prove that they embody the qualities of a paladin before I bless them.'

You say, 'How can I prove myself?'

Inte Akera says 'I believe the two most important qualities of a paladin are nobility and sacrifice. Hand me an item of yours that proves you understand what nobility and sacrifice are. Be warned however, if I do not think as you do, I will simply accept the item as a gift, and give you no blessing.'

    Need dialogues.

Inte Akera says 'No.. I was unable to kill my most hated foe, Miragul. The head of this wretched, foul necromancer is forever out of the reach of justice. It would be worth restoring him to his former state for the chance to take his head as a trophy.'

You say, 'Why were you unable to kill Miragul?'

Inte Akera says 'You think you can succeed where I cannot? Perhaps you can noble one.. Bring me the head of Miragul, his robe and hand me back the two blessings I gave you, and in return I shall bequeath to you this sword I carry. Good luck my friend.'

Need dialogues or game lore used to determine what quest items are required. We'll skip ahead here for convenience.

WORK IN PROGRESS, TO BE CONTINUED...

    Old text is below.

Based upon the log with Inte Akera, these are the items you need for the fiery avenger. Given the difficulty of traveling within the Plane of Sky, it is recommended that you get the head and robe of Miragul, Ghoulbane and Soulfire beforehand.

Note: To get the blessings, you need to talk to Inte Akera. He is located on the Fourth Island in the Plane of Sky. You first need to talk to Dason Goldblade. Tell him, "I wish to be tested by Dirkog." Dason will hand you a book; read it if you wish. Return the book to him and he will despawn; Dirkog Steelhand will spawn in his place. Give Dirkog 500pp to cause Inte Akera to spawn. Inte Akera can despawn quickly, so you should be at the island and have a friend hand Dirkog the money so that you don't lose the spawn.

    1) The Blessing of Nobility: You need a high faction with Akera, who is a Deepwater Knight. Give him Soulfire to receive Inte's First Blessing, the blessing of nobility. The details on getting Soulfire are here.

    2) The Blessing of Sacrifice: You need a high faction with Akera, who is a Deepwater. Give him Ghoulbane to receive Inte's Second Blessing, the blessing of sacrifice.

    3) and 4) The Head and Robe of Miragul: First, you want a Burnt Book and a Frost Book. You can get the Burnt Book off Lord Nagafen, Severilous, Talendor, or Melalafen. The Frost Book can be looted off Lady Vox, Gorenaire, or Faydedar.

Take the Frost Book and Burnt Book to Rysva To`Biath, the bartender in the Blind Fish Tavern in Neriak Commons at +10, -850, along with 1000pp. She will combine them into the Book of Scale.

Alternatively, you can take the 1000pp, Frost Book, and Burnt Book to Rineval Talyas, a Human Enchantress near a small supply camp outside the walls of Northern Qeynos and get the same result.

    You say, 'Hail, Rineval Talyas'

    Rineval Talyas says 'Hello, _____.'

You say, 'I seek a scribe.'

Rineval Talyas looks at you strangely. 'Who told you this?'

    You say, 'Karn told me.'

(Karn who? Dialogues and full name needed.)

Rineval Talyas says 'I see. If a scribe is what you seek, then bring me the torn books of fire and ice. A donation of 1000 platinum is needed as well. The donation will be offered as a blessing to the gods.''

Find Oracle of K`Arnon in the Ocean of Tears at -28.99, -6737.39, -197.58 post-revamp.

You say, 'Hail, Oracle of K`Arnon'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'Greetings, ______, I am the Oracle of K'Arnon. Do you quest for [knowledge] yourself, or do you offer that which I [seek]?

    You say, 'What knowledge?'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'I have lived long and have insight into many matters, yet I despise charity. To learn from me, you must first bring me that which I [seek].

You say, 'What do you seek?'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'I seek knowledge, which is superior to all things. And no knowledge is greater than that which is contained within the [Tome of Ages].

You say, 'What is the Tome of Ages?'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'The Tome of Ages has been compiled over the millennia by the Scribes of [Dal]. It was divided into seven distinct books by the scribes to keep the knowledge from one such as me. That said, with aid, I shall unite these books and the Tome of Ages shall be mine.

You say, 'Who are the Dal?'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'They were elves once, but now are Teir'Dal, and as evil as they are wise. Many tomes have they written, but none greater than the Tome of Ages.

You say, 'What are the books?'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'The seven Books that make up the Tome of Ages are those of Enlightenment, Scale, Turmoil, Monuments, Elders, Blood, and the Lost Book. Each of these great books is an important chapter in the history of Norrath. If ever you find one of these books, bring it to me.

You say, 'What about the Book of Scale?'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'Ah, the Book of Scale.. It would be wondrous indeed if you could recover the Book of Scale for me. If you do manage to procure the Book of Scale, I will gladly part with an artifact of my own that may be of interest to you.'

Hand in the Book of Scale.

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'Unbelievable! The legendary Book of Scale is mine! Please, take this as a small token of my thanks. I warn you however, if you ever manage to join the corporeal body to the evil that resides within, you will rue the day.'

He will give you back an artifact called Miragul's Philactery (dialogues needed). You must then head to the Everfrost caves, which you get to by going through a hole in the ice at the river (enduring breath is very useful for this trip). Get an enchanter to charm the Lich and then hand him the Phylactery (charming may not be required - lich will be KoS but you can still do the hand-in). This will spawn the true Miragul, a 53+ necromancer who is as hard to kill as a dragon, so make sure you have lots of friends with you. When you kill him, he drops the robe and his head.

Turn in these four items for the Fiery Avenger.*

*at this point we'll let Gbaji's summation of this quest roll:

Ultimately, you need four items to start: The burnt book, the frost book, ghoulbane, and soulfire. Assuming you have them all, the rest is just turn in's (more or less). But each is transformed in the following ways:

    1. Take the burnt and frost books plus 1000 pp to Rineval Talyas and receive the Book of Scale.

    2. Turn the Book of Scale in to the Oracle in Ocean of Tears to get Miragul's Phylactery.

    3. Turn the Phylactery in to Miragul's Lich to spawn the real Miragul. Kill him and get his head and robe.

So at this point, you've taken two items and turned them into two other items.

    4. Go to the PoSky and spawn Inte Akera (have some one else spawn him while you wait in the windmill on pegasus island).

    5. Hand him SoulFire (and only SoulFire). Receive Inte's First Blessing.

    6. Hand him Ghoulbane (and only Ghoulbane). Receive Inte's Second Blessing.

So at this point, you've turned those two items into yet two other items.

    7. You should now have 4 items again: 2 blessings from Inte Akera, Miragul's Head and Miragul's Robe. Hand him those four items (all at once) and receive your Fiery Avenger.

Need all dialogs, faction hits if any, /loc of quest mobs, missing quest items, any other relevant quest information.

I've got my Paladin to ALLY faction and Inte Akera still won't trade with me. Note: I am Ally but not maxed out . I've used an alternate character to spawn him by talking to Dirkog. Do I need to talk to hi with my Pally for Inte to trade with me?

This happened to me too, not sure why. I ran my paladin to Paineel to kill Atdehim a second time to get my faction to ally in case it wasn't high enough. By the time I got my paladin back to the plane of sky Inte had despawned but Dason was back up by then so I was able to spawn Inte again with another 500 plat. I had my paladin spawn Inte the second time (maybe the paladin has to spawn Inte now?).

So the islands/path to Inte was clear by this time and my paladin already had the keys. I actually had a fellowship campfire up on the pegasus island too, so I was just able to port my paladin back to the pegasus island after he spawned Inte. Inte took my items the second time and I received the sword.

Small note, Inte Akera says his opening line when asked "how can i prove myself?", but i did this part just now and he did continue his script when I said "what do I have to do to prove myself?"

It may be posted somewhere down in all of these posts from years past but let me post it again for anyone who is just tackling this quest.

Before you go to Sky and get to Inte spend the time in Paineel and max your faction with Deepwater Knights. I'm not sure what it has to be before Inte doesn't just hand your items back but I was apprehensive the first time I went and he wouldn't give me the blessings. I went to Paineel with a double faction potion and just killed everything that agro'd on me. I maxed my Deepwater Knights faction out in about 45 mins to an hour.

I didn't see anything about needing the faction before I went so maybe this will help someone else save a little more time.

" You have slain Atdehim Squonci"

He seems too give 100x the faction of other mobs
    First kill

    Deepwater knights +1000
    Craftkeepers +1000
    Crimson hand +1000
    Gate callers +1000

    Heretics - 1000

    ------------------------------------------

    2nd Kill

    Deepwater knights +153
    Craftkeepers +153
    Crimson hand +153
    Gate callers +153

maybe i was maxed off the 2nd kill, and it gave less the 2nd time, bc i was capped due too it?

I just truned in Frost Book and Burnt Book from a harbinger of frost & a harbinger of flame to Rineval Talyas in Qeynos and got the book of scale. You just need to right click the itme you get from the mob that spawns to get the quest item.

I also like to mention that you don't need to invis or charm the Lich of Miragul for the turn I just did it visible and kos and he spawned Miragul.

Last night, an Enchanter friend tried helping me to get Miragul's head and robe. She couldn't charm the Lich. I took a gamble and just handed Miragul's Phylactery to it and the real Lich spawned.

So, I can confirm that you do not need to charm it any longer. It is KoS, but does not attack, so just give it the Phylactery, kill it and loot head and robe.

well I f**ked up big time today. Thought you just needed the liches head so I didn't loot the robe from him. After re-reading this jumbled up quest I see that you need his head AND robe. Great... Now I gotta kill the dragons multiple times AGAIN for those damn books and go through all that garbage again.

Suppose its my own fault but still... pain in the a$$!

I read at the bottom of the guide hand in these 4 items for The Fiery Avenger. I very stupidly thought the 4 items were Soulfire, Ghoulbane, Miragul's Head and Miragul's Robe. They are numbered near the middle of the quest write up. I thought 3) and 4) were on the same line because both items dropped from the same mob. It didn't say to do 2 or 3 separate turn ins to get the Fiery Avenger. The first turn in is Soulfire and Ghoulbane to get The Blessing of Nobility and The Blessing of Sacrifice. The second turn in is 4 items at once The Blessing of Nobility, The Blessing of Sacrifice, Miragul's Head and Miragul's Robe.

When i gave him the 4 items that i thought i was suppose to give him all i got back was The Blessing of Nobility and The Blessing of Sacrifice. He ate Miragul's Head and Miragul's Robe. This is one of the reasons i felt really stupid. I should have handed both blessings back to him to at least see if he would give me the Fiery Avenger. I didn't though. I went back to read the write up and i started at 3) and 4) The Head and Robe of Miragul:. I thought okay i got the 2 books. I gave them and the pp to the npc in north qeynos. I got the book of scale. I went to the oracle and gave him the book of scale and i got the philactery. I went to Everfrost and handed the philactery to Lich of Miragul which spawned the real miragul and killed him for his robe and head. The end of the write up said turn in the 4 items which i did. What did i do wrong.

Well derrrr. Obviously i know what i did wrong now. I turned in the 4 wrong items. Though by the time i had realized the mistake i made, Inte Akera.despawned so i missed my chance to give him the 2 blessings to see if i would get The Fiery Avenger.

EDIT: I guess i forgot to add that i did finally complete the epic. I made sure the 2nd time that i did the hand ins properly. I have at this point completed the epic for every class in Everquest. Still out of all the epic write ups on allakhazams the paladin one is easily the most disorganized.

To raise the Deepwater Knight QUICK, go to Paineel. Go to the huge grassy area to the left as you zone in. There will be Guard Menduknar standing there. He's level 10, hits for 100+ and has a lot of HP's. He runs at 50 but he re-spawns IMMEDIATELY. So hit him and have someone nearby that is high lvl whack him quick. As fast as you kill is as fast as he spawns.

Confirmed. Took me around 10 minutes to max ally on all parts with him. Have high level toon use a rogue which will just kill it as it walks away . Never have to slow down. They spawned faster than I could whack them with my 2hs, so I switch to a 1hs and used <F8> Q to keep up.

Quickest Possible Faction Grind Route - Pally Epic 1.0
    # Sep 22 2013 at 8:49 PM Rating: Decent
Im writing this guide as a Drakkin Paladin (which unfortunately requires more of a faction grind than Humans/Erudites). Im also writing this from the perspective of trying to raise all of the required factions as quickly as possible, and to eliminate as much 'useless' faction grinding as possible. (So that, you could at least gain exp from grinding out faction, rather than just grinding faction for the sake of... grinding faction)

Stage One: Priests of Life/Knights of Thunder Faction --> Considered Warmly or Ally (On average, 2+ hours to complete)

Make your level 1 Paladin, and send them 2800 gold (assuming they are a Drakkin). Leave the tutorial and make your way to North Qeynos. Here you need to find Lashun Novashine. He wanders the city, and is usually either above the pool near the Monk Guild, standing on the stairs that lead up to the Cleric/Paladin Guild, standing across from the Jewelry/Blacksmith Merchant House, or standing just outside of the North Qeynos gates. Once you have him, hail him to keep him in place, and then proceed to give him 2 gold. He will only ever accept 2 gold at a time, and each turn-in will net some experience and +Priests of Life / +Knights of Thunder. Unfortunately as a Drakkin, it takes about 1400 turn-ins (or 2800 gold) to go from dubious/apprehensive to Considered an Ally. Some people have said that Considered Warmly is high enough, but I did not want to risk losing the eventual turn-ins for Soulfire with too low faction.

Stage Two: Deepwater Knights Faction --> Considered an Ally (On average, 6+ hours to complete)
Requirements: Level 8-10. There are two viable options for doing this:

    A) Start killing Kobolds in the Warrens. You're going to want to collect their Molars, as they are used in a quest at the Deepwater Knights Paladin Guild in Erudin. The quest NPC is named Tiam Khonsir and he is located in the inner courtyard of the Deepwater Knights guild building. Note: You only need to turn in a single Kobold Molar to him to complete the quest, however, he will also accept four of them at a time. He will more than likely not "give" you the quest if you are apprehensive or below, but you can still turn in Kobold Molars to him. I do not know if he will accept turn-ins if you are dubious (as I started at apprehensive) however, you can camp E`lial B`rook that spawns in Toxx Forest at -370, +335; to raise your faction to apprehensive. so that he will accept turn-ins. As a side note, E`lial B`rook is a level 6-7 Necromancer and is on a 5-6 minute respawn time. Contrary to popular belief, his quest item "Bones" turn-in does not raise Deepwater Knights Faction. (Obviously, killing him does, though)
It took about 700-800 Kobold Molar turn-ins to raise Deepwater Knights from Apprehensive to Considered an Ally.

    B) If you are already higher level (50+), consider having someone roll a level 1 Erudite Necromancer/SK so that they can use the lift to let you into Paineel. (Assuming you dont have faction high enough to obtain a key from the guards outside to work the lift). Killing Paineel Guards / NPCs actually raises the Deepwater Knights Faction quicker than doing Kobold Molar turn-ins. Though it will still take a few hours of camping, on average it took 6+ hours.

Stage Three: Knights of Truth Faction --> Amiable (On average, 2+ hours to complete)
Requirements: Level 10-12 (This part also assumes youre Drakkin and Merko Quetalis doesnt initially give you his starting quest due to low faction)

Unfortunately, as I have just completed this quest, Merko Quetalis (found in the lower levels of the Halls of Truth in West Freeport) would not issue me the initial note to give to Altunic Jartin until I was at least Amiable to him. Likewise, Altunic Jartin would not accept a Cloth Shirt to bypass the note part. The easiest way to raise your faction to Amiable with the Knights of Truth is to head into the Common Lands and kill the various Orc Camps that line the northern zone wall. You're going to need to collect about 50-80 Deathfist Belts and turn in two at a time to Cain Darkmoore, whom is found in post-revamp East Freeport, below the arena at +665, -675. After youre Amiable to Knights of Truth, you can continue that part of the quest line.

Hopefully this helps anyone starting to do the Paladin Epic 1.0.
In closing... it will definitely save you hours of faction farming by rolling an Erudite Paladin (that does not worship Quellious, and instead worships whatever God the Deepwater Knights worship, Im not sure)

Relating to turning in the torn books to Rineval Talyas in North Qeynos:

There is a human in Lake Rathetear named Kanthurn (not Karn as the guide says) that clues you in that she is a scribe for this part.

    You say, 'Hail, Kanthurn'

Kanthurn says 'Hello, Brennius. Have you heard of [Rineval] Talyas?''

    You say, 'Who is Rineval?'

Kanthurn says 'Rineval is a strange, but special young lady. I've been told that she can read and write in ways that only a few in Norrath can. She usually does not speak of this, however I am a dear friend of hers. Say that you are in need of a scribe. If she asks you who told you this mention my name.''

    then...

    You say, 'Hail, Rineval Talyas'

    Rineval Talyas says 'Hello, Brennius.'

You say, 'I seek a scribe.'

Rineval Talyas looks at you strangely. 'Who told you this?'

    You say, 'Kanthurn told me.'

(You can actually say "(Anyone) told me" for this prompt and she will reply, so saying "Karn told me" as the guide states will work, or just "told me.")

Rineval Talyas says 'I see. If a scribe is what you seek, then bring me the torn books of fire and ice. A donation of 1000 platinum is needed as well. The donation will be offered as a blessing to the gods.''

Hand in the two books + 1000pp.

Rineval Talyas says 'Take this book quickly and tell no one about this.

You say, 'Hail, Oracle of K`Arnon'

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'Greetings, Brennius, I am the Oracle of K'Arnon.

(Hand in the Book of Scale.)

Oracle of K`Arnon says 'Unbelievable! The legendary Book of Scale is mine! Please, take this as a small token of my thanks. I warn you however, if you ever manage to join the corporeal body to the evil that resides within, you will rue the day.'

Miragul's Lich popped after exactly 7 days.

The four items to turn in (Ghoulbane, Soulfire, Miragul's Head, Miragul's Robe) can be turned in all at once without further conversation. Note though, this will not get you your Fiery Avenger yet. You will have to return the Blessings for that still. They look like scrolls, so make sure you got a good overview of your inventory so you don't waste time finding them.

You don't really need an enchanter to charm the Lich of Miragul, a paladin can just cast pacify to make him indifferently.

As noted in more recent posts, just handing the item in to the KoS Lich works. I just wanted to add a note to this post to indicate that pacify no longer works on the Lich.

You cannot cast Propitiate Rk. II on Lich of Miragul.
    Murder Paineel for DW Faction
    # Apr 06 2012 at 9:46 AM Rating: Decent
There are a few ways to get enough faction with Deepwater Knights to do the turn-in (kobold molar quests, Zombie Flesh quests, killing random NPCs, etc), but this is how I did it. As a level 55 Pally, I had a Rogue friend pick the lock into Paineel for me, then I just went down inside and murdered everyone. For awhile I was killing the guards in the Paineel newbie zone, but they take forever to kill. But the guards inside Paineel itself are like level 10 (legit) and give the same faction hits. And there are all sorts of lowbie NPCs there that give the same faction hits. So I just started rampaging around in there with a Tank merc, and in about an hour and a half or so, I was at full Ally with Deepwater Knights. Easy peasy.
just to clear some stuff :)

Be sure to have Amiable or better faction with Deepwater Knights.

    Remarkably easy now.

With the Guild Hall and the Dark Elf in Plane of Tranquility both porting to Sky.

Set the Guild Hall to Sky
    Zone up my 77 Enchanter
Zone up my Cleric on another account
Camp out Chanter and log in Paly
    Zone Paly up to Sky

Camp out Paly (Lvl 51 so can't handle much)
    Log in Chanter

Blitz the first Island leaving the Boss for the Island till last. Kill that MoB spawning the Sirran.

Grab a Key for the Chanter while the Cleric hits the Quest room with the 500pp
camp the Chanter, log in the Paly.
Grab a set of keys for the Paly.
Invis Paly and head to Island 2.

Camp the Paly log in the Chanter. Head to Island 2.

Blitz Island 2 leaving the boss till last and kill to spawn the Sirran.
Grab a set of keys for the Chanter head to Island 3.
Camp out Chanter log in Paly.
Grab keys for Paly head to Island 3.
Camp out Paly log in Chanter.

Biltz Island 3. Well Chanter running a little LoM by now. So only kill what is absolutely necessary since no agro on this island. Be aware while none of the MoBs indiginous to this island are KoS they will asist and there is an Azerack that strays from Island 2 across all of Sky that is KoS.
    Kill Gorgalask to spawn Sirran.
Get keys for Chanter (Not that the Chanter is needed any more but since the keys are no longer "No Rent" may as well pick them up. One less task for another day).
Camp out Chanter and camp in Paly.
Grab the key for the Paly.

    Head to Island 4
No agro here so run to the windmill and inside.

Have the Cleric do the hail and hand ins way down in the quest room.
    Turn in MoB spawns.

Tried a few combinations of turn ins but kept getting returns of the items. However:
Handed in the Ghoulbane on it's own, got the Note.
Handed in the Soulfire on it's own, got the Note.
Handed in the Notes and the Head and Robe and got the Firey Avenger.

He won't accept the Head or the Robe without having given the notes. Or at least that is what I saw.

Run the Paly off the edge of the island making sure not to hit anything on the way down. Run the Cleric off the Quest Island.

Climb out of the drink with both of them. Camp them log in the Chanter and run them off the island making sure not to hit anything and get them out of the drink. Fiery Avenger complete.
    Turn in

Well, I tried to turn in Soulfire and Ghoulbane last night, (Jan 22, 08) and the dialog "how can I prove myself" does not work. It reset to the begining as if you just hailed him for the first time. I was wondering if you need to finish the dialog with Inte Akire to do the turn ins for the blessings, or can you just hand him the swords?
I already have the head and the robe, I am ready to move on to the Epic, but do not want to lose my items.....I managed to have a friend help me out, so I am not KOS in Freeport, and I really would not like to be KOS in my home town!

When handing either the soulfire or ghoulbane in to Inte Akera:
Inte Akera says 'You have chosen wisely, my friend. Take this note as my blessing upon you.'

When handing both notes (Inte's first and second blessings) and the head and robe of Miragul in to Inte:
Inte Akera says 'Long have I awaited this moment. You have done what even I thought impossible. Take this sword, the Fiery Avenger. You have earned both it and my deepest respect.'

After each turn in (the Soulfire, the Ghoulbane, and the final turn in of all 4 items):
Your faction standing with Deepwater Knights got better.
Your faction standing with High Council of Erudin got better.
Your faction standing with Heretics got worse.
