Diseased Spiders  

These spawn directly left and right of the entrance, to each side of the guards along the wall, not but 2 for 3 feet from the opening into town.

The guard will sometimes kill them if a drake makes them come out of the doorway.

And apprently other spiders can be PHs.

Initiate Dakkan is on the brink of proving himself to Venesh but needs some help collection items to study. He's tried several time to get a sample of a disease carried by the spiders in the Hollow outside the lower level of the city, but he's not strong enough yet. He told you that the diseased spiders are somewhat rare, but killing the healthy spiders in the Hollow will draw out the diseased ones.
