Priest of Discord  

The Staff of Discord changes into a Fine Steel Morning Star or such when you zone, or so I heard from a close friend who's guild kicked his butt once =)

Ok, all I am only going to post facts that I am ABSOLUTELY sure of. The priest of discord is NOT A WIZARD, he is a cleric. He drops a robe of discord and a staff of discord. The reason people see him with other types of armor on is because he will equip whatever type of armor (or weapon) that you give to him. He is level 50, and he has 32000 hp. His dd, retribution, "only" does in the low 500s because he is a cleric. He hits for the mid 300s melee. Although this may greatly decrease my credibility by saying this, the priest of discord was kited by 2 level 50 magicians on the rodcet nife server. What they did was get sow for themselves and their pets (of course) and they got him to attack him and ran in circles while the pets were following the priest meleeing him. It took over 20 minutes of running in a large circle repeatedly for the pets to melee him to death. One of the pets was dual-weilding langseaxes, and the other was dual-weilding "modulating rods," obtained with the level 44 magician spell "modulating rod." The PoD dropped the staff of discord, robe of discord, and words of crippling force (level 49 research item), which is not specific to him - research items are random on all mobs above a certain level.
Feniin, when it says "you have been struck down by the wrath of the gods," that is the message from the level 44 cleric spell retribution. You are obviously not a level 50 wizard - you would know what the spell retribution was and that he cons black/white to a level, and not red. "Hater of the discord," I seriously doubt that the priest of discord would not resist the level 1 snare spell.

He tends to change his costume a lot. He can have the Robe/Staff combo, but I've seen him with a golden breastplate and two Ykeshas! Only to be screwed with by 51+'s...

Just wanted to add a few more things about the PoD.... he is also in Ak'anon, and if you give him tome of order and discord, your PvP turns on, which is not good for almost all people....
One more fun thing... PoD is apparently KoS to guards, at least in Gfay he is... some jokers were snaring him, and then outrunning him, and he would stop near the guards and fight them....

btw if your interested he managed to finish off about 5 guards in a row, and was at more than half health after he did.... he only used melee as well, and this is a wizard char.... damn )

I gave him a Lambent Bracer and a Ghoulbane ( i get them sooo easy) and he used both, so i am guessing he is the ultimate NPC. He also casts Wraith Of god which i believe is more powerful than Ice commet...i tried to take him on with my lv 50 Wizzy and he still con'ed red... I tried Ice commet on him but he resisted.... i ran and ran, he never got more than 3 melee attacks off and hit for about 350 each, then he did it....he casted Wraith Of god, it said on my screen "you have struck by the Wraith of God" and it hit me for over 2000 dmg....so you can guess i was dead before i hit the ground.......well i hope that helps, oh yeah he only drops a staff of Discord, 10dmg 40 dly, 2h blunt, effect- im not sure yet, i think only one person has it on my server, well Happy Hunting and remember "dont play with Fire or the POD will lay the smack down on yo *** ******" lol

He cirtenly does hate almost everyone. once i was fooling with him by snareing him and running around the lift, and once i got ON the lift and the guards were hacking at him. he killed me quick and went all the way up, then he ran around the first platform of kelethin killing all the npcs. guards and merchants alike. Then eventuly that high elf guard commander spawned and the PoD killed him too! but the priest was almost dead.. then he tried to kill a merchant, and the merchant killed him.. if 8 PoDs were released around the city i'd imageine what would happen.. the guards would surrender and the PoDs would chage kelethin into a rotting mass of wood.. each of them with minor injuries. Hes soo powerful.. he killed a high elf guard.. one of the stronger guards of the game! it would take a Dragon to kill him! seems to have a low magic resistance though. he olny resisted my level 1 druid snares once. and i snared him about 25 times.
