Does anyone know which faction must be raised for him to speak to you?
I have been killing Darkpaw Gnoll and see both Residents of Jaggedpine and Jaggedpine treefolk getting better.
Is there a way other than killing them and the Gnoll Canines to raise the faction for him?
Knowing his faction base would help

He's on Residents of Jaggedpine faction, either do what your doing (kill gnolls and turn in canines) or kill poachers for faction. It takes a very very long time either way, faction hits are really small.
