I used to run from these in terror when I was a green dwarf warrior. Now I can kick them to death, which I do everytime I find myself in BB

As a DE Necro lvl 10-14, I spent time in BB. People at the LDoN camp were usually nice enough to buff, and the Green Goblin heads, and Insignia of the Greenblood are definitely moneymakers (3-4pp each). The 2-hander the Greenbloods drop was a great wield for my skelly pet. Skelly with 2-hander made the chessboard pretty easy XP (all but the King), and banked 120 bone chips to boot.

Next up, Field of Bone...
Scorpions, and Teddys and Iskar... Oh my!
WARNING - STEIN of Moggok quest

Check the factions on this critter!!!! Not only is he negative to the guard of Oggok but Clurg himself, the very critter you need to turn the compendium into to get the Stein.

I know it's hard to avoid these critters sometimes since they are KOS to most folk even when a backhand would kill them but if you plan on trying to complete the quest without the aide of a enchanter, you'll need faction and that will hurt your quest directly!

So if you want to do the stein of moggok quest and are not liked around Ogguk and need faction avoid these like Bubonic rats.. big green bubonic rats

Not too much of an issue - the way the quest is set up, it's border line impossible to do it if you aren't a chanter anyway.

You need amiable or better faction with Clurg or he eats your stuff - just make sure that you can pull that with your faction spells and you're kewl.

On a side note - where the heck did that pict come from - Greenbloods are the ogre SK guild - they don't care a lick for troll SKs at all???

Could anyone shed some light on who gives a quest related to the fingers? Been looting off of every third or fourth kill of these (with an alt), so far, and just been selling to vendors </wonders if they may be worth more as a quest item>...btw, even my RL friend, a level 53 DRU, has never even heard of these.

Been camping Delin as of late, came across the first one I've ever seen of these and can't believe the stupid Ogre looking thing aggro'd on me. Killed him quick, no coin on the loot, but found his rusty 2 hander, a finger, and an insignia coin. Looted the finger and coin to see if they were worth anything and, lo and behold, the coin was bringing me in over 4plats. I've killed many of these since and have found insignia coins on 4 out of every 5 of these. Am I getting exp. fromt them, no, but they are making my pockets rather heavy. Kill them with one nuke and a meele hit or 2. Definately worth the time.

Conned Dark Blue to my lvl 15 BL. Also found out that there are 2 different types of these. One is a troll, the other is an Ogre.

A Wandering Greenblood ran into my lvl 43 Troll SK the other night in Butcher. I was on my way to twink a friend of mine's new dwarf rogure. The wandering greenblood looks like a Troll and seeing as how I'm a Troll I figured I'd say hello to my brudah and wish him luck killing dorfs. But no, he is a Troll that is KOS to other Trolls, think of a naked version of befallen's troll SK and there he is. He aggros every player character I've watched cross him, luckily for them he is fairly weak. I also noticed that Greenblood is the name of the Ogre Shadowknight Guild, so why is a Troll a Greenblood, when he should be a Shadowknight of Knightkeep. I am thinking Verant screwed the character graphic up on this character. He was probably supposed to be a third ogre member to the corflunk zarchoomi duo, which would actually make more sence, seeing as how the dwarves and ogre have the history of being rivals not trolls.

Well, I have come across these Greenbloods on several occassions. Also seen a new ogre (to me) called a Towering Brute. I have spied them while travelling through BB as Bloom, my main - a Druid currently level 31. The Greenbloods were attacking the dwarf merchants so I decide to step in and slaughter them. Since then I have killed several more. No loot so far, but some very interesting faction changes. For example, my faction went up with the Da Bashers hehe. As for the Towering Brutes, the only faction change was with the citizens of Oggrok (went down). No loot off the one corpse. Interesting addtions to the zone, and I am particularly intrigued by the faction changes for the Greenbloods. I will make sure the dirty trolls have hard job wandering over the verdant hills of BB.

I saw him too, unfortunately my 32 Pally was running to unrest for my corpse. I didn't have any weapons drawn nor spells memorized. would have been nice to root him, but unfortunately, had almost killed him with bare hands but he ran to the nearest guard house where he was promptly nulified. Anyone know what loot was on him?

As 18th season Ranger these guys are green to me, killed a few of them... No loot dropped on the 15-20 I have killed. They have a rather large aggro range it seems, and they must hate me, I have mainly been jumped by them while running the path between GFay and the xroads..
Actually its been almost every single time I do the route atleast one aggros on me, had three seperate attacks in one crossing...

There are a few new creatues for lower levels to kill in this part of Butcherblock now...
