Because I killed him a few too many time I am now KoS in parts of Qeynos and to the female Cleric in the hut just inside EC as you are coming from Freeport. So I took my lvl 26 Dark Elf SK into BB and killed him just so I know for sure what the faction hits are. From here I will just try and find a way to raise each that went down. Anyway, here is the log......enjoy.

Well, I trained this NPC repeatedly with gnolls, and never manged to see his health go down more then a sliver. He seems to have a pretty high AC because the gnolls would never hit for more then 10 or so. Even stranger is that he rarely fights back when attacked by the gnolls (but hits for 22 max when he does). After a few minutes of fighting out of place, he will warp back to his spawn point (I managed to chain-aggro him to the far end of the cavern before I ran out of gnolls).

He's just got a VERY high AC. I was just down in Blackburrow killing him for Bloodsabre faction, and had streaks of 12-15 misses in a row against him (I'm a level 23 SK so he was REALLY green to me). While the guard faction hits mean I now cannot go any lower, and will be killing gnolls for about a week straight to be able to walk back to the spires without having every guard along the way decide to give me a dirtnap. As much as the faction hits may hurt people, you have to admit he has great loot for his level - averaging 5-8pp per 6 minute spawn, plus the occasional word or rune.

So, if my pet accidently killed Malityn, anyone know how to raise faction with the brothers so I am not KOS to them anymore?

If you kill this guy you will suffer very bad faction hits with paladins, clerics and Qeynos. Be warned.
Rather wish I had read this yesterday. :(
Never fear, you can still use Qeynos, but you'll be in the sewers to do so. There's a bank, merchants, and some trainers down there. So, if you don't mind sewer crawling, it's not so bad. Besides, what good is Qeynos anyway.
