Recfek Shralok  

Recently came back to the official EQ servers and didn't like the prices of weight reduction bags on the bazaar, so I decided to farm for some free ones. Took a couple hours in Highhold Pass, but got the pack and shiny brass idol.

Took many hours here, and I had about 10 of the other 2 named orc mobs and still haven't seen this one. Seems to be the rarer of the 3 or it is just bad RNG.

Spawned 10 AM game time -1045, 52, -32 in HPH

So what if he spawns in Kithicor. Grenix also spawns out in EK and he will never drop the pgt out in EK.

Here is what I know about the Shraloks in Kithicor. Recfek does spawn in the sw corner of Kith. There are at least 5 spawn points around the area for Shraloks. Recfek has spawned twice in the past 3 days, once dropping a rawhide mask, once a bronze longsword, the only bronze to drop off any of them. No pack yet, but I beleive he eventually will drop it. Two spawn points always seem to spawn Shraloks, a third point always spawns the cheif, and 2 other points have various placeholders. The PH's are many different named Shraloks (far more names than are listed on Illya's), a skeleton, spiders, scarabs, beetles, wolves, bears and bats. Once there was even a tiger that spawned here. Nothing special about the camp really, and the loot is pretty crappy, but it's something to do while waiting for dark.

I have spent the past few days soloing undead near the zone at night. Solo, I can take a max of 3 or 4 single pulls(with their pets) during a game night. I died twice in 3 days, which is not bad for a 41 paladin picking fights in Kithcor.

I kill the Shraloks during the day since the daytime zone is not very challenging except the dark elf camp, which should be avoided like the plague unless you have a really uber high level group.

I was going to HHK when I got agroed by This guy and he droppped the Pack for me

This guys DOES not spawn in Kithicor, there are orcs there that have Shralok in their name, but they aren't him and they don't drop the pack.

Okay, people, this guy now spawns in the southwestern part of Kithicor Forest.
