From what I remember when I've killed this guy, he was a shaman. If given enough time when he spawns, he will summon a cute little wolf pet and of course proceed to buff himself and pet. He casts slow on attackers and if I remember hit my group with one of the ugly shaman AE poison spells. He does see invisible, same with most if no all the named mobs in CT.
Also, from what i've seen his common drop is the tae ew war maul. If he has it, you will see it equiped in his hand.

He also drops Ooze Covered Rubicite Mask, Hybdrid BST Mask. AC 8, 5 Sta, 5 Wis, 5 Int, 35 HPs, 30 Mana.

My group was: 60 war 60 shamy and 60 cleric and me 56 bard at this time :p
we r camped pools easily ( 0 dead in group )
i can mez lot of ooze, but i can t mez pool of slime.
But u need good stuff for here ) and it s very good xp

Yes he can be mezed with dazzle as can most of the ozze, as mentioned above the pools of slime require Rapture to mez. He is a Shammy and will cast a pet if not mezed when he pops or is up when you get there. Hope this helps

Took this guy out last night a few times. Dropped the Lantern and the Tae Ew War Maul x2 (sp?). Really isnt that hard once slowed.
Spawns in "pools" area of CT saw him 3 times in about 5 hours. Not sure if he can be mezzed as we would switch to him as he popped (we were camped right at his sspawn site basically).
Group was 60 Wiz, 60 Shammy, 60 Rogue, 59 War 59 Chanter and 60 Cleric. Exp is fantastic we did have to evac to zone twice when we couldnt get a large pull under control but CR was very easy.
