61monk 65chanter 65cleric, i think he hit me for like 100, once....cleric kept him stun locked while i just flat hammered him, fight lasted 2 mins? maybe. had a fair ammount of hp, just bring a cleric with kei and have them chain stun, definately could have done without the enchanter all he did was mana sieve and nuke like twice.

Keep this guy stunned and he's easy. We were way overkill with tank, cleric and 4 nukers in the 50's. 40k hp sounds about right though so expect it to take a few minutes.

after a long HoT raid and during a CR, i popped into SH and he was up. after rezz i get TL back to nexus, run to SH buff up with just my buffs, med to full and anull magic on him and fight for the next 11 mins. oom and lay hands later i loot the little fooker. not bad for a 61 pally solo. lmao

It took me 10 minutes with Fiery Defender (I don't have 2hb AA yet so ditched Windblade for bashing epic).
Just use epic or 2 hand bash AA, Cease, Desist, and Stun at a minimum to keep him from running OOM so he will try to cast on you more often, thereby keeping his melee DPS down.
I just cast Supernal Cleansing about 5 times. I didnt have to use it for about 5 minutes.
I had Cease, Force of Akilae, and Stun up.
Long fight, but wimp melee.
There were a few low 100s. A handful of 132 max hits. There were a lot of hits in the 45-60 range.
Self buffed Heroism, Shield of Words, Aura of the Crusader, Resist Magic, Pious Might, Shield of the Eighth, Valor of Marr 25% self haste buff(+ my 41% haste belt from Plane of Sky), Brell's Stalwart Shield, and Grim Aura.

STR 198 STA 204 blah blah.
I also have Combat Agility 2, Natural Durability 2, Combat Stability 2, and Physical Enhancement AA.

Jeez. I solo'd this guy back a few months back with my 56 shaman with little problem. This time it took me ( 49 monk) 58 sk and a 55 druid 9 minutes or so to kill him. I can believe how many hp he has now. doesnt hit very hard but has some serious nukes. Hit me for 610, 405 x2, and several 300+ blasts during the fight. They really made him and adventure to kill now. Not hard, just time consuming with a healer.
Those spells are level 44 Wizard nukes (Conflagration, Lightning Shock, and either Ice Shock or Enticement of Flame.)
That means he's at least 44, if not more.
We dropped over 16k worth of nukes on him. He doesnt hit hard (max 130s) but waaaay too many hitpoints for a mere level 44 wizard.

Seriously as a 60 chanter I threw 14 nukes at him and got him down to 75 percent.I know cos I dire charmed him and asked.That is over 9k damage.ID3 item they were doing like 750 damage to him per nuke.
He is a wizard.Self buffs with O'kiels flickering flame, arch shielding and diamond skin.Simply stunning difference to what is posted here.He must be 45 or 46 now cons dark blue to 60 and can be dire charmed.
If this guy didnt hit like a wimp he would tank almost anything in this whole zone.Must have like 40k hps or so.Very slow regen.I could kill him eventually.My mana regen outdid his hp regen and I took no damage at all for the time I did fight him.
Anyone confirm please.Is he bugged or changed ??

i did this part of the quest a long time ago (but only finished it this week)and they have seriously buffed this ****** little gnome. just killed him again today with a druid friend and here's the low-down:
57 warrior (me) and 58 druid took 12 minutes to kill him. i either forgot about his DS or they have since added it in. i did almost 12k myself, we estimate he has 32khp or there abouts.
hits for a minumum of 45 -and does so alot-, his max is just over 100. casts root, nukes often in the begining , but seemed to go oom after a few mins.
i dunno what spells he cast (i'm just a simple warrior) but here's the spell messages anyway:
You succumb to the enticement of flame. You have taken 360 points of damage.
Your skin freezes over. You have taken 100 points of damage.
You feel your skin ignite. You have taken 405 points of damage.
seemed to hit me with that last spell most often.

Oh and an easy way to kill him once dire charmed it to throw him up against something big (I did Nolram Gorlson nearby.Let him fight to 2 percent.Mez Nolram.Dispell pet.Nuke once.Loot book.Oh Gorlsons pal there added but mezzes easy.
No faction hits and be sure to either mem blur or gate asap.Nolram hits for 157 and it still took ages for him to kill this guy.

Just wanted to post my experience with this little fellaw. I read all the posts andfigure, ahh piece of cake, so I take a 56 ranger and 57 cleric and try it out. Not sure if he was changed or what but let me tell you I ran out of mana on a cleric healing a ranger who was meeling. He has a ton of HP and a damage shild on him. I annuled magic a couple of times and was able to get him down to half a bubble before clericran out of mana and we had to zone. Second attempt I got a KEI and that went pretty well, long fight but managable. For those of you wondering ranger has decent equipment and has his eoic (so he is 40 percent hasted), also 57 cleric has 252 wisdom so plenty of mana byut still ran out. All I am saying just dont underestimate the guy, better safe then sorry

Hello all,
I have 45 beastlord and am doing the Cloak of truth quest for him. I was selling in the Bazaar last night and just popped into shadow haven to see if he was up. It turned out that he had finally spawned and was waiting for his demise. I went to con him and he was amiable to me (I thought Peqi was supposed to be a grouch?) and he was an even con to me(again I am 45). I figured that luclin mobs are typically under cons so I checked with my guild for help and everyone that would have been high enough to help was afk or not on, so I sent an ooc in the zone for any higher level toons who might be bored waiting around in SH. A 52 Iksar monk stepped up (thanks again bud). I buffed us both to the gills, especially with stam, fire/magic resitance. My pet was impatient so I finally sent him in and we proceeded to open up a can whoop @ss on Peqi. The fight lasted under 2 minutes. He took us both down to 40% health. He casts a DS on himself, that's where most of the damage from Peqi came from. He dropped the nodrop book for me and I was quite happy. My guild leader, who is doing the quest also, then popped on just after killing Peqi . I had killed Peqi at 9:45. My guild leader finally made it to Shadow haven by 10:30, still no Peqi. We chatted and conducted a guild meeting past 12:30 and still no Peqi. I fell asleep at 2:00 am finally and when I woke up at 8:00 this morning I popped on to see if the bugger was there yet, but still no Peqi! I don't know what his spawn time is, but I can tell you it was over 10 realtime hours and no respawn for Peqi. Long story short, this is not a camp for fun and experience. Just keep Peqi on your random "to do" list and go about your business or you'll be very very frustrated. Good luck everyone.

Well, I brought a 55 shaman along. While pick pocketing his spare change, the shaman got tired of waiting and decided to slow him. A lil bit later I got my book =) The book is LORE NO DROP, but not magical. He hit in the low 90ies, nuked me once for 193.
I followed someone's directions here and just got lucky he was up.
If you come in from the bazaar, make a left up the stairs, and stay to your left (like your going to the casters guild area) when you enter the little alley between buildings, it's the second door on the left.
If you are leaving the casters area, make your first right and it's the second door on the right.
When you open the door (if he is up) he will be standing right there. To the right is a small window wit ha potted flower sitting on the ledge of it. To the left is a bed.
