As an 85 Solo-Mage + Merc I took this guy down by myself, but it was not an easy fight. Granted, I did a lot of things wrong. I didn't know that if his back was to me I would not suffer the Rampage damage. Knowing that would have helped a lot. A WHOLE lot because I had to de-focus DPS and mana-efficient damage (casting Rampaging Servants on Gift of Mana procs etc.) and often had to step in and heal with the Merc.
But I did indeed take him down and finally got the Gloves of Dark Summoning that I have been waiting 8 years for. Take THAT TVK.
Sony, please change the respawn of all bosses to 1 day at the most.
Watch out for lots of traps in his hall that pop mobs out of nowhere.

word to the wise...KEEP him facing the wall..His ramp can suck a whole lot and catch you off guard...beside that he is extremly ez..just takes a few wacks to break down that 1,000,000 Hp wall..keeping him slowed keeps him ez on the eyes and the tanks.his guards can be ez to toss aside.just keep a look out for adds.
ventanni's stats dont shock me, considering what this zone is targeted for. can someone tell me what kind of raid force is required to take TVK? GoDS is like, the only focus item available to mages on my server, so this encounter = major mage upgrade for the whole guild. thanks.

TVK is the hardest mob in VT. Has roughly 1 millon hps and regens a lot too. My guild has done him before, most recenetly tonight with some gimp tanks ( LOL @ Knob ) and like 3 clerics. It's a long fight so bring your popcorn....
