Last night I killed something labled "A Gila Monster Hatchling" is this the same mob with a new name or a new mob?
No drops from the one I killed.

Those skins, combined with other items, create armour for necromancers based in Freeport.

If it is Bile, it is part of the Newbie (kinda newbie) necro armor quest. Of course, my problem is that my necro can't FIND the silly beasties... and when I do, they drop nothing. Figures...
The Gilla Monster Hatchlings drop the bile you refer to (they hang out on the grass line near EFP and the desert near the huts where the guards hang out) and the Young Gilla Monsters (usually out near Derv Camp 1) have the skins also needed in the Rage Sorcerer newbie quests.
