This is a triggered spawn, related to the Dark Masters. It spawns after killing the four Masters in the house (middle of the zone). Respawn available after 4 days from last kill, or immediately after a server reset.

You have to kill the masters first. If you kill them and Doom doesn't spawn, try again the next day.

I have been camping Doomshade off and on for 3 months on a live server. I have never seen it spawn. I have started logging in and just sitting on the dark masters house and killing them ever 22 mins for 8-10 hours a day, last 3 days in a row. Someone on my server must have the timer and kills Doomshade everytime for no reason.

I have followed the instructions in the top two posts, and have still yet to have Doomshade spawn. In a new DZ spawned by AoC i have waited for the chanting message at zone in, run over and killed all 4 masters in 3-4 mins. Then waited 5-30 mins. I have tried this 6 different times with 6 fresh DZs from the AoC. Any insight into what is happening? Also i can not get the swarmlord to spawn either. I kill the caller, get the ground is rumbling emote then the waves never spawn. Anyone have the same issue? And then I have killed the two spirit's PH, the ice and fire mob in the two caves 20+ times over open world and AoC DZ and have never gotten them to spawn the raid target for the raid achievement. Anyone have any idea about that those also?

Other than Bow of Doom and Earring of Endless Speed, there is nothing on the mob worth farming for. All weapons dropped from Doomshade (except for Bow) also drop from Tawro and Radir which are on 24-hour respawn cycles, and they typically drop 2 weapons at a time.

There doesn't seem to be one post in this thread that completely covers spawning Doomshade and what to expect, so here goes:

First, Doomshade is only poppable for brief periods of time, and the only way to know when those periods are is to be in the zone when they begin: There will be a zonewide emote saying something like "The Dark Masters begin to chant for the coming of Doom". At that point, the clock begins, and you have a short time to engage the Dark Masters to spawn Doomshade. The exact amount of time within which the masters must be engaged is unverified, but assume that it's less than 10 minutes.

Once you engage the Dark Masters, you have 20 minutes to kill all four of them. If you take longer than 20 minutes, it's been reported that you can just wait for them to respawn (respawn time on the masters is 16 minutes, so at least one should already have respawned) and try again.

After all four masters have been killed, there's a delay (for me, it was one minute and 20 seconds), and then Doomshade will pop.

There's a post below that suggests that the zonewide emote which accompanies Doomshade popping no longer happens, but that's either not true or not entirely true, because when Doomshade popped for me, it was accompanied by the emote, "A totured scream echoes throughout the plains as a tormented spirit is released upon the land"

The fight was no issue at all for an 87 paladin; it took awhile just because Doomshade has a lot of HP, but he landed almost zero hits on me.

Since no one has said where this guy is, I'll now tell you. Not that it's a huge zone, but trying to look for something in this zone can be tough due to all the roaming mobs.

Look towards the center of the zone for what appears to be an unfinished house with 4 robed undead Dark Masters, one facing out in each direction. These Masters are KoS, and seem to always get adds once you pull them. Once you kill the 4 Masters, Doomshade will spawn from the center on the building. Note: Some people have said he can take some time to spawn. For me, he spawned immediately.

I'm a 92 Cleric and with a DPS merc, he went down with no problem in only 2-3 minutes. He is undead, so I blasted away with my undead nukes until he fell.

He dropped a sword, a dagger, a bracelet, and a bunch of spells, all of which are on his loot table.

I wouldn't recommend coming here alone unless you're of a higher level, simply due to the many roaming mobs that always seem to add onto whatever you're fighting.

This is definitely a Cleric/Paladin zone due to all of the undead.

this guy is triggered as u can also tell from other posts. u kill all 4 of the masters to trigger Doomshade. on zam's spawn times says 3 hours for respawn, which is incorrect. It is a 3day respawn.

I kill doomshade on a regular basis, and here is how it is done.

1. First you want to try to clear as many possible adds as you can. What I usually do is gather a train of dark assassins and just obliterate them with either a riposte disc on the monk or a few barrage of arrows on the ranger. This wipes them out quick.

2. Next, you want to kill the dark masters. They have a sufficient amount of hp compared to the assassins. Be prepared for adds that you did not kill to agro you. I usually get all of the dark masters to about 20% then start killing them off one by one.

3. When all dark masters are dead, wait around in their house for at least five minutes. I have seen doomshade take anywhere from 10 seconds to 5 minutes to pop, and he DOES NOT give off an emote anymore, nor do the masters. First thing you will see is him swinging at you.

4. Pull doomshade to the entrance by Maiden's eye and engage. I like to kill off any adds first then pound him into the ground. Whatever floats your boat is fine.

5. Loot up and enjoy! I use this technique to gear out level 1 characters.

EDIT - Bow of Doom, Pebble Crusher, and Darkblood Sword are by far his most common drops. Be prepared to kill him a lot to find the earring of endless speed.

How often can you do this? I imagine she doesn't pop every time you kill the masters. What is the time frame one has to wait between dropping her?

In place of step 1, I typically just pull them to the entrance. Don't go directly there, but slightly northwest – this helps to avoid the gantrus outside the entrance. I typically get only about 3 adds doing this. Even as a monk, I'm almost certain that it takes less time to pull them and kill 3 adds than to round up all the assassins and Whirlwind them.

One other note that I didn't realize before: most of Doomshade's loot table can be obtained by killing Tawro and Radir, who have been up every time I go there. It looks like there are 3 mediocre items with mana regen or haste that they don't drop.

Killed Doomshade quite a few times. How I usualy do it is pull all the 4 Dark Masters at the same time (try to dodge as many adds as possible on the way back) and kill them. Know that you can take 4 Harm Touches before you go there, anyone 70+ should resist or have HPs to take it, so not bid deal. - Think it's a 20 min timer since you kill your 1st dark master, so you have plenty of time to kill the remaining 3.

When lvl 70 was max, me and friend killed Doomshade fairly easy, using shaman / beastlord tank and druid heal some and dps. Has a fair ammount of hp, but not a very tough fight. Just be carefull, he can flurry a lot, so don't feel safe and let tanks hp go really far down before healing (un less you want to keep warrior enraged for more dps :p)

Easily Soloable by a 74 Paladin tacvi/anguish geared 1414 AA.
pulled dark master and killed him off to side along with about 8 adds.

Went to middle and killed other 3, pulled last off to side and proceeded to kill adds that had come along as I was working on those 3.
this is such an easy fight, but keep in mind that Ward of Tunare is key to this fight for a paladin.
keep casting it throughout fight.
I had 3 adds on me even as I was killing Doomshade and it was easy.

Drops were hoarsthair hammer, pebblecrusher, Crystal Enervated Armband, bracelet of fortitude and the temp drop for that cloak of truth quest.

I decided that there was no sense in trying to pull to ME zone as I would get adds anyway it went, so proceeded to kill him off to side of the building he spawned in.
Easier dealing with undead adds then live adds, though I did happen to catch agro from 3 zelniaks.

Zoned to UP today,
I play war/dru combo, i zone with Druid second, i switch back to War and hes getting pounded. I immediately think "PVP!" since i play on Zek
But lo and behold, it's Doomshade, so i think "neat! I'll kill him"

Came out of that fight with all my damn discs down, epic clicked 3 times and druid OOM.
Lol, anguish geared tank and qvic/1.5 geared druid with 8.5k mana.

dropped bow, stave, rod, and brellsx3

bout 10-15 min fight

Very fun and challenging fight for a hydra team. Did him with 3 (dru-enc-cle) since my stupid mage died on the pull. Took a while to beat down his Luclin era 250k hps. Literally cast the cleric's final CH at 4% and then beat the mob down the final 10khps using chained chanter runes. Dropped 4 items for my twinks and 2 spells so well worth the effort.

Well we decided to have a go at Doomshade last night. 1st attempt we had 2 groups, and cleric ditched us right before we got to the dark masters. 70 Warrior was main tank, also had 70 shammy (boxed by war), 70 mage, my 68 SK, a 68 wiz, 61 rogue plus a slew of DPS.

The dark masters part was a pain because of all the adds, and not having a true healer tends to make some people nervous. I pulled the 1st 3 one at a time, then took a med break before getting last one. Killed all 4 in about 15 mins.

About a minute later, Doomshade popped right in the middle of where the masters were. We got her down to about 40%, then all the dark masters popped again and we were wiped soon there after.

Set up raid again, Doomshade was still up but this time we only had about a group and a half and still no cleric. By this point the few of us there from the 1st round are just after revenge on this thing, nothing more. Pulled her to ME zoneline, and killed there. Took a long time, but didn't lose anyone.

Droppped the Haste earring which I won in a roll, rod of virtue, petrified rod, Bracelet of Comprehension spell: KEI and a song: Warsong of the Vah Shir.

Note of advice...don't try to kill in the middle where she spawns...learned that one the hard way :-)

I was just wondering how long it takes from the time she is killed till she can be spawned again ? Someone previously guessed it was three days, but i was looking to have this confirmed if possible. Thank you in advance !

How can you tell if he respawns? I mean you have to kill 4 darkmasters within 20 min to spawn him. So it's not like he normally just sits around. I killed 4 darkmasters in less than 10 min today. But he didn't spawn.

hits for 600,s flurrys allot has around 250k hp high ac like all luclin mobs need about 1 12k hp tank with 1 cleric or 10k tank with cleric and druid etc

Doomshade is spawned bye killing the 4 dark masters within 20mins so clock starts tickign after u kill the first Dark master doomshade is UNSLOWABLE and can best be pulled bye rangers or druid with the instand camou aa

also 1 grouped him easy GL with it
