We took a group of 7 into UP and killed Radir and his spirt last night with a 58 cleric, 57 chanter, 54 Shaman, 60 paladin/ranger/mage, 57 ranger. Long fight but we got Braclet of quickness and Pebble crusher

I have been making UP hunts a regular activity - and I have never seen either Radir or Tawro drop any spells, not that it can't happen, but I haven't seen it yet. They both so far always drop 1 weapon and one bracer. And the hunts are not that easy - but a solid 1 grouper with a shaman or 60 chanter for slow has about a 60% to 75% chance to success. But when a radir or tawro hunt goes bad.... call your nearest Necro for summons, because CR is all but impossible in these caves.

As long as the MA holds aggro and the healer has a decent mana pool and slow lands, the mob is an easy 6-8 minute fight (with one group).

We just killed this mob with ease with a single group. War,Rogue,Monk,Chanter,Cleric,Shammy. We slowed the mob easily first time. Simply have chanter Shaman Malo and Chanter Tash... then Shaman slows w/ no problem. So be nice to your shammies and invite them to raid with you. Shammy or at least a Mage with Mala.

Unlike his buddy tawro, radir spirit has much higher resists. At 60 w/ tash on took 4 attempts at slow to land... Cripple hit on 2nd. He does flurry so you will want your chanter to have cripple ready, it will all but eliminate that problem.

i used to kill him all the time, 8 hour spawn, and he no longer drops bow of shadows

This mob flurries alot and is slowable and does not cast.. max hits seem around 320, we useally take him with around 8 others.. spawn time i do not know though.

It's been suggested to me by others that Spirit of Radiir can also drop KEI/Group Aego/Khura's Focus, but no one mentions that here.

We killed it again on 5/11/02. It dropped a 10 damage 18 delay 1 hand slash sword. It had some other stats that I don't recall. He also dropped the 12 ac 15 wis 6 save to everything bracer.

We killed this guy last night.
He had No bow =( , but had 1Hpiercing and Bracer.

We just killed this guy it dropped a 15 int 6 to all saves bracer, and a 2 hand blunt weapon 39 44 5 to all stats 10 to all resists most classes can use..

A group of 60s can take him, if he's slowed he's ez. I did it with a 54sham + 55 chanter tash + 56 bard oos. Seems like he drops one weap and one of those beauty/might/etc bracers. Drops also pebble crusher 8/20 1hb with stats and i think stun proc, int/wis weap pretty much.

The name of the dirk. Got it tonight and its very nice. 11 17 8 str sta agi dex 50 hp and 25 vs magic. Wish it had some ac but hard to complain about that. Killed mob with 7 people, mostly 60 except cleric who was 54ish.

took him out with 2 groups of lvls 58-60, spawns after radir fireshower is killed. He hits for 325, flurries, good 4-5 min fight, slowable though. dropped a 18/27 1h wep mnk/bst wep with plus stats and a +15 int 6 all resists bracer. spawns in a cave a bit past vex thal ent

hes kinda both hehe. 1 group can kill him, and getting to him can be harder than fighting him. 2 solid groups can do him w/o too much trouble.

What is he resistant to? And approx how many HP does he have?
I know it is a lot of questions but it sure would help to know what size/type of group is needed to drop this guy. I think I speak for every Ranger out there ... ***** the Primal bow, I want one of THESE!!

Here some info.. just killed him with 58war. 60 rog, 60cleric,60wiz,60sham,55bard. Walk around zone untill u hit cave, move into cave and pull the mobs on your way down to radir. Once we got there our rog pull the 3 guys (2)mobs and radir and then died. radir was only one to walk back then we tag the 2 and killed them. We pulled radir right out front of the main room. u need to do this to watch for repops behind you. radir hits for tops 300 DOES NOT FURRY. Shammy slowed him and it was long fight, we killed him then spirt of radir spawns inside the main room right after u kill radir. spirt furrys and hits for 350 . shammy slowed again and was easy fight just long.... drob 15int bracer and 8/20 hammer
