These guys look like bably mobs in Shadeweavers dout they;d make a good lvl 55 Druid charmed pet. i mean if they are as tough as they look it means Whack Dead bug =/
They are ground traps that can be seen as moving dust. Step near and it will spawn and attack.
These however will not own anything here. They are about the weakest mob in The Grey. I use a timeless golem 99% of the time, AQed. They chew throgh the Xaxra in just over a minute with around 70%hp left. I don't even bother slowing the xaxra. Only draw back to these is that they are immune to change in run speed.
Their pebble spray is a nuisance and it goes off every 5sec or so. But in comparison with golemsmash that procs 90 and stuns. It is very week.
It's true, the Golem Smash is nasty. However, the golem has to be meleeing with you for the smash to go off. Xakra worms can snipe at you at a distance. As a bard, golems are no threat to me with their smash because I easily outrun them. Xakra worms are annoying because even running at the farthest distance that I can land my chants with, they can still hit me with their pebbles every 5-15 seconds or so. If you're using one for a pet, then yes, you'll probably want a golem. Just don't forget that there is a range componant here.
These things have a proc and a spell which is pretty nasty. It's a 50 point DD that does not seem to be resistable. "You have been hit by pebbles." Apparantly these things spit rocks at you. They will proc this a LOT, easily once every 2 or 3 seconds if you're up close, and will even snipe at you at a distance with it.
These puppies are immune to Necro snares, says Your target is immune to changes in run speed, when you try and cast it on them. That said the other nasty thing about them is that they pop out of the sand as you walk over them, which can get you nailed fast if your not invis. Think thats it, gl ;)
