If he dies, the mission is a failure and we will have to try some time later. Watch out for any commanders that may join the fight, as they're sure to be looking to slay Gelg for his treachery. Note: Obvious key is to not attack or damage Geig the Traitor. If you do however aggro him, but don't kill him, memblur should work, but I had to use Root, then after killing the named and the rest of last mobs, the waves slowed down, and I had time to camp out to lose aggro, and finish the event. This is by far the longest of the events as you have to wait the entire time to ensure that he doesn't get killed. Geig despawns when the event is over.

The Captain is in grimling forest inside the lil vah shir hold up where all guards and all that are that is where he is.If u need to atck him u better know what ur doing cause it is guards galore

Does anyone know where he is? We completed the quests with a guild raid and got the 3 medals. Our 48 ranger checked and he wasn't on tracking at all. I was thinking he might be a triggered spawn, but am not sure at all how to complete this quest.

If someone tried to do the quest and failed, Captain Necin will not be up. I'm not sure of the spawn time on him, it seems to be 12 hours or more. However, if you successfully complete his mission, someone else can try to do their's as well right after. You hand him the chest of valor that you purchase off of the vendor that sells the gem, combine the 3 medals you received from the lesser raids, and hand it over to the Captain. Your party will need to split up for this one so be prepared. Which ever group goes with the other vah shir officer, go in there and be sure to get aggro before he runs in. Otherwise, they will nuke the snot out of him. Even though the camp that the captain leads you to is bigger, I think the other npc you must protect at the first camp is a lot weaker, so plan accordingly. The captain didn't even get touched when we stormed that camp, but the other npc was nuked instantly. Hope this helps.
