Fairly easy on TLP's

Things I've noticed killing him a handful of times on a TLP:

He seems easier in a DZ, than in OW. That might just be a coincidence, but as nothing respawns in DZ's, we had no mid-fight spawns or traps respawning anywhere. Also, the Weakening Spray AE seems just about unresistable, even with 5-600 resists, BUT the DoT portion of it appears to be a lot weaker in DZ compared to OW. Maybe it doesn't scale to level? So keeping people alive with few healers (or just heal pots) was waaaay easier in DZ than OW.

Tanked by 70 BST (1200-ish AA's, GoD/Anguish gear), using pet as ramp tank, with 70 DRU (800-ish AA's) on heals. On TLP's at least (haven't tried on regular servers) the healing debuff does NOT affect the druid CH (Karana's Renewal). Always landed for full amount (around 6K). Makes the fight a lot easier. Also had 70 Mage for DPS/Malo, and depending on the day, also 70 WIZ, 70 ROG, 50-ish monk tagging along, for added DPS.

Just remember to keep him slowed all the time - his DPS is significantly higher when he's unslowed, which especially hurts the ramp pet. BST slows land just fine, and then toss the occasional druid CH (on both BST and pet), and you're golden. Just takes a while, depending on your DPS.

As many times as I've participated in this event over the years, if some time passes between events, I tend to forget how to get to the fight scene. This isn't a zone you wanna get lost in. Most mobs don't SI but guaranteed you will run into some that do if you wander around aimlessly scratching your.... well, that thing ogres do so well.

This is from zone-in. If your guild is doing several of these raids back to back, you might want to evac back to zone-in, or run there, to follow these directions.

Zone in, open first door.
Turn right and open far right door. There could be a SI Temple Guard here.
Open door, turn right and open next door in front of a tube. 2 aggressive SI guards here. Hopefully your guildies have slaughtered these in passing.
Go up tube one level and exit EAST. There will be SI mobs up here, again your guild should have cleared the way, if you can't.
Head thru the door, SOUTH and then turn LEFT (EAST) then SOUTH to elevator tube to 3rd floor.
Up tube to 3rd floor, exit NORTH

Head north, watch out for traps. They'll dot you with long-lasting damage spells. Need RGC to cure.
Take first left thru the Jail Cell area, then right, then left. Straight thru some doors in XTC's "throne room."
Head back thru Jail Cells area, turn left, for the High Priest.

I think I found his room, but I didnt need any key to get to it. North from zonein, water elevator, southeast to next water elevator, then first left out of the room. He wasnt there so I cant confirm 100% but the walls do look darkened like in the pic so I think its the right place.

I have killed XTC about 6 times in the last few months and I am curious if anyone has seen him drop more then one of his weapons ? Every time I kill him it seems to be two armour items and one weapon.

0-12 hours from reset. 6-7 days after a successful kill.

/crosses his fingers for a Hategiver on the next spawn.

EDIT: finally dropped it. Only 12 kills!

75 shaman 1495 AA demi-plane.

Took care of adds and debuff'd creator before I went in. Poison and disease were resisted always but my curse line of dots landed after malo'd. Pet died to rampage early on and i didn't have one suspended.

It was a very long fight about one and a half hours. Basically I would cast malo and she would strip it so I would cast it again to make sure i could land turgars a lower level slow, but longer lasting. Throughout the fight I would canni using my AA canni and spell canni then cast a Heal over time to keep my hp over 50%. Everytime Resplendant cascade was available I would cast it then quickly cast my clicky heal for 2800 hp.
Even though my curse line landed it also was resisted alot and maybe the main reason the fight took so long.

After i debuff'd and before I engaged I had remove malo from my spell lineup foolishly thinking the fight was going to be over before it wore off and had to actually memorize it during the fight. After three failed attempts to mem my level 75 malo I resorted to memming my level 65 malo because of the shorter scribe time. There were never any close calls luckily I always have balance of discord memm'd and that never failed to land when turgars wore off before I was ready.

P.S. Dropped Bonechiller, slippers and adamantite bracer along with 5 spells mostly bst and luclinite orb.

Nah this guy hasnt been revamped, (I know its way later in the year) I have 3 boxed him, usually 16.5k hp tank 12k ranger and a 11k mana shaman a couple of times now... The key things here are setting ramp on the right people and if slow wears off its really hard to recover. Hot are not affected by the heal curse so thats the way to go, if the slower loses control over the situation its pretty much game over unless the 2 melee have weaponshield or furious line to burn.. He may only hit for 800 ish but he hits so fast that its like fighting those giants in valdeholm if hes not slowed.. Hope this helps..

we took him on this past weekend on Ab server, 26 people, no one really well geared, maybe time geared at the most, we all got owned in about 5min. we had 2 good tanks with 13 and 14.5k hp and they went down really fast, the entire raid was a wipe real fast. is he revamped? or takes a plan and not just Charge!

Killed him about 4 times during this past week. For some reason he is up everytime i log on. About 22 hour pop.

Can be 3 boxed, monk tanked while shaman and necro casted from the little room/doorwary before XTC. Heals over time are not affected by the -75% healing proc. Shaman was able to keep spiritual serenity on monk/necro the entire fight. Not one big heal was needed. 27 minute fight. I've got the hammer 2/4 times now. Just make sure your tank is shrunk and he/she won't agro the 2 front guards. If you can't fd flop next to XTC then you just gotta clear the 2 guards first then run your tank up. Can slow XTC before the fight starts also.

XTC has 15,000,000 HP! Very long fight.. He hit only 700 to 850. He is pretty tough.. But If you has many healer. You can do it! About 20 to 35 minutes during fighting till he death.

Did him with 11 people, mainly 65's, lighty ele geared. Fight took about 40 minutes. Had done him plenty before, but never with those numbers, was a fun challenge.

Xerkizh the Creator is on his own timer, he's not part of the Rhag cycle that we could tell. To get to him, you have to have a key that is a drop off a commander, he's on the way to the High Priest, so you would use that same key. On the way to the High Priest, it's like left to the Creater and Right to the Priest, I might have that backwards. We took him down with about 4 groups or so, we are not Elemental or Time enabled, mostly LDON geared.

First thing to know, yes Balance of Zebuxoruk is unresistable, but you might as well plan on getting hit by Weakening Spray as well. We had resists jacked up in the 400 range with bards and still got hit, so I would just suggest planning on having your attack lowered rather than messing around trying to resist it. What this means is that your DPS as a melee will drop significantly, it will be like you are newbie hitting a hill giant. Nukes/Procs/Dots work just fine.

Ok, so the basic strategy, pull his two guards that are right in front of him. The golems on the sides will not agro, and the Creator is perma rooted like most of the other snake boss mobs. After those are dead, they do respawn, so move quickly, you can do final buffs outside the Creator room. Now what we did is have everyone run into the room and get right up against his platform on either side. You can avoid his AE this way, just be sure that you don't move around too much and agro the golems on either side. Now just so you know the Creator is a shaman, so his melee hurts but isn't to bad and he does cast if he has mana. At this point we sent in the debuff crew, he can be slowed, crippled, ro'd, etc. Then we had the chanter blurr him a few times to set the rampage tank. We had a pally hit him a few times with damage stuns and arrows. Then we sent in a defensive warrior, we only had a 3 cleric rotation, but we had bards and necros for mana regen. The warrior will get hit by the AE that drops healing to 20% effectiveness. You want to try to have someone on Remove Greater Curse duty pretty much just spamming that tank each time he gets hit. I was the pally on rampage and just dealt with it, and had a shaman and druid tossing me heals. Again, his melee isn't so bad, slowed, but once slow drops, he can go down fast and with spells not landing at full strength you will have some close calls. After that, pretty much you can call in the rest of the melee and go to town. Now again, this will be a long fight because you will get hit by the debuff AE. So really your nukers will decide how fast this guy goes down.

More things to know. Remember, you will get respawn of his two guards. As soon as they respawn everyone but the Main Tank and Rampage tank should disengage and kill the respawn. These mobs will be a pain to kill because you will all be debuffed. Once dead, get back to killing the Creator. And just a reminder, don't push the snakes into the Golems, if a Golem agros, it's just another thing you have to kill while you are debuffed. One thing we did find is I suggest you use pets. Once the fight is in full swing, if you don't have pet disciple, or you can summon them right away if you do, to help out on damage. If you position your pet where you are hiding from the AE, your pet will not get hit either, and your pet will hit the Creator. This is one of those screwy things about pets and hit boxes and line of sight. Anyway, I would be sure to use pets to increase DPS. As for nukes, pretty much after the fight was started and your main tank had good agro, you can nuke away. He didn't resist many nukes or dots that I saw.

That's pretty much it. It isn't a bad fight just a long one, and you want good healing.

The AE spray greatly reduces your melee effectiveness. (It is listed as a -200 posion resist check.. I think it is magic resist check or unresistable.)

But procs land for full damage. Have your melee switch in high procing weapons for more DPS..

Also.. The other AE (Not sure that it is an AE..) that reduces healing effectiveness is cast on MT and RT.. chain curing them with RGC line will help.. or just tighten heal chain.

Killed this guy agian today with 22. Was a long battle but easy. He dropped the hategiver the blacksmithing mod and the earing.
