People stop whining about everything that isn't how YOU wanted it!Ok so the first time I came here...a lowly level 52 I saw CZ's guards and was just so hapy to being here that I never thought about their skins, why can't all you people just be glad verant made these zones for you? why do you have to care what the mobs look like? Were they fun to kill? Isn't that better then whining about how a mob looks? Verant didn't make this game so everyone would have their fashion sense satisfied they made it for people to have fun! Jesus!!!!!
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 01 2001 at 11:09 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) guess what, i don't agree with you. i think that the reuse of models is just Verant's inability to come up with something new. They are too damn lazy to think of creating a new model, so they just change the color and level, big frick'in deal. If they are related, that's one thing, but just look at some of them. Verant did make this game for having fun, but that's second to making money, the real reason they do this.

Verant's inability to come up with something new?? What the hell are you talking about?? Just look at this game and the amazingly diverse world they have created. Which other game can you choose from so many classes and races and play for months and years without even visiting some of the zones? Which other game gives you the opportunity to obtain thousands upon thousands of different items and try to solve hordes of different quests? Which other game can you meet so many other people from around the entire world to fight awesome creatures like the ones you are complaining about, or to do what this game was made fore... ROLEPLAYING!!! I can't think of too many games that even come close to meeting Everquest in any of these categories.

If you think this game is so unoriginal and all Verant is worried about is making money, STOP PLAYING THE GAME!! Otherwise, stop wasting your time and everybody else's on this pointless jibber jabber.

I agree with what you just said. People want Verant to the impossible and complain when it can't be done. They want things that take time and planning to complete every week. They expect GM's to be like gods, and when they can't be godlike, they get mad and put the down.

Here here!!! Verant has already created one of the most complicated and beautiful worlds ever. They have spent countless hours tweaking every little aspect of the game to try to please everybody and they have done a darn good job of it. I applaude Verant and everything they have done to make this the best roleplaying game ever produced.

#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 11 2001 at 11:16 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Im not complaining so dont jump down my throat, or if ya do hell who cares. Anyway Verant doesnt care about pleasing anyone they have us addicted we cant stop playing so they can treat us like crap now cause were not gonna cancle our accounts. For anyone that has a heavy disdane for the game just quite, there are other games out there and lots of other stuff to do, besides youll be one less person to Get My epic and otherwise Phat Lewtors.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 30 2000 at 8:14 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Verant decided not to make these monsters just stomp on ya, much harded. And if u have an invulnerable spell on, what will he do? stand on your head?
Drop

These guys arn't worth killing at all so don't go out of your way to kill them, only if you're breaking fear. Sadly, like all the other Cazic Thule guardians, they drop nothing.

Note to anyone else wanting to flame this fellow, check the date. Back then there was nothing on them, it was later that CT and Draco drops were placed on them and the Broodling spawn triggered from them.

LOL, they drop nothing? They have almost all of CT's old drops and are worth killing.

models

giants have a different model, but cyclopses have the same as muddites and stone guardians and, apparently, dreads.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 11 2000 at 5:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) they DO re-use the models. The pallette applied to the models is different

sand giants and hill giants and muddites are different.....trust me and not because of size
The Reuse of models
# Apr 03 2000 at 10:42 AM Rating: Default
Varent Reuses the models for many differant MOB. Go kill a froglok in the sewers of Qeynose.... Then go kill the same froglok on the undead side of Guk... a named one. Differant MOB? Different Loot? Differant Faction? Differant skin? Same Model? You bet ya
RE: The Reuse of models

Why would they use a different model? A froglok is a froglok... I would be pretty confused if they DID use a different model....
