Yes, he summons. He does not cast though. Just DTs about every minute. Killed him a few days ago on Zebuxoruk with 2 groups. Dropped the Amulet of Necropotence and Bone-Clasped Girdle. Proceeded to kill the green con iksar child that spawned afterwards and got one of our shamans his epic drop. Just need two healers and a little bit of DPS to take him down. Not too hard as long as your healers don't get death touched.
Got all 3 golums today

How it went for us today on Saryrn:

Fright - some trouble pulling because monk kept getting DTed. Sent in sacrifice and she pulled him fine. I think one or two other DT deaths. No SK epic bit, but dropped warrior epic bit. Iksar spawned, shammy got tear.

Dread - not sure if we sent sacrifice this time but FD pull worked just fine again. Another relatively easy fight, but we did have one group of 65s and 3 groups of mid 50s. I think only one DT victims. Iksar spawned, shammy (me! :) got tear.

Terror - This one tough to start because Cazic kept hanging about. Then when he wandered off the monk got agro from Glare Lords and had to /q to lose it. Eventually she was able to drag his annoying butt back to us with 2 Amygdalan Knights and a gorgon. But we had a super mezzer so that wasn't a problem. Terror was by far the toughest. Several deaths, despelled like crazy (I had like 2 buffs when done) and the AE is tough. But we were successful. SK got her epic drop, and again Iksar broodling produced a 3rd tear for 3rd shammy.

So super raid, all three down, but yeah, not easy even with SUPER monk FD pulling/Ogre warrior MT combo.

# Dec 01 2003 at 3:52 PM Rating: Decent
Im looking for some info on where iksar child spawns, i was under impression that he spawned right where the demis( dread fright and terror) died, but i would think someone would have mentioned that by now in these threads.

When you kill Dread, Fright or Terror, the iksar child will spawn where he died.

You don't get to dread without getting agro. Its impossible, you need a group or to to clear your way to him, then he is prob a 2 group mob.
Magi Stun?
# Jul 17 2003 at 1:45 AM Rating: Decent
Does anyone know if this golem procs Magi Stun, like his brother Fright?

Edit: Answered my own question...he procs Tigir's Insects (a slow) instead of Magi Curse.

Respawn and pop...

I have heard the respawn on him is 72-75 hours.... can anyone confirm? Also, do they spawn after a server reset?

RE: Respawn and pop...
# Oct 08 2002 at 11:01 PM Rating: Decent
I cant confirm the 72-75 hour spawn time, but I do believe all mobs repop after a server goes down.

PoF doesn't spawn after server outage. I believe its got 24 hours after outage before the zone will pop for cr's and stuff.. kinda fun to run around an empty plane ^_^
The Three Golems
# Mar 06 2002 at 7:24 PM Rating: Good
Went on a fear raid last night consisting of 6 full groups (about 4 groups were 55+). After successfully breaking and moving to woe (the southewest corner), our puller brought us Dracoliche who went down fairly easily (unfortunately NO slows stuck on him, but we only lost a few tanks in the process). After that, we took out the three golems: Fright, Dread, and Terror. Fright and Dread came first and are very similar. They meleed for upwards of 500 and DT'ed every 45 seconds or so, but were fairly easy (in both cases they came with a couple of Amy Knights who are enchanters had no problem mezzing). After that we took on Terror who is the worst of the three golems. He melees between 300-450 or so and though he doesn't DT like the other two, he has a cold-based aoe that CAN do about 500 damage if you are unlucky. With a 177 CR his aoe did about 300 on average. All the pets died, but were vital in us defeating him, and a few casters died as well since his aoe is pretty long range.

From what I understand they don't exactly see through FD. What happens usually is that a monk gains aggro from some mob in the zone and FD's to try and get rid of it. BUT, as all monks know that doesn't work with high level mobs very well. So when the mob wanders away, it remembers you when the monk stands, and passes its hate list to nearby mobs. If one of those nearby mobs is one of the 3 golems, you get Death Touched from across the zone.

Everytime a monk FD's in Fear with aggro, the mobs need to be killed or the monk needs to /quit out. So if your running across fear to do the quest, make it as far as you can, FD, /q, repeat and follow a route away from the golems. Sets of monks are good for pulling in a raid here so that 1-2 monks are always logged in.

Dread might be the easiest of the 3 golems in my opinion cause he has zero disease resistance, im a 52 SK, he was bright red, and all my taps hit for max dmg . Hehe nice to see your Lifeleech stick on this thing and heal you to full again almost. Dropped nothing for us at the time tho Fright dropped staff of the earthcaller

Soul Leech
# Aug 01 2001 at 5:20 AM Rating: Good
Umm you may want to add that this ******* isnt only involved in the Warrior epic quest, but as he drops Soul Leech too he is a mob needed for Innoruuks Curse, the Shadowknight Epic.

Also as this discussion here is largely irrelevant to the mobs himself some things for people who want to fight him.

Terror is probably the meanest of the 3 mini bosses in Fear. The first times we tried him we got our asses handed to us bad, mind you we didnt have our Cold gear with us.

So if you are going to fight him there is some things you should keep in mind.

- wear your best cold resist gear, Terror casts an AE which afai remember hits for 500 max. You will want to prevent that. Ideally 100sv vs Cold unbuffed.
- by the time you fight Terror you should have cleared Fear pretty much, so lead your clerics to a safe corner and have them bind.
- when you fight him, casters should stay out of the range of his AE. If you want to cast on him, run close, cast, run back, because a 500 AE can hurt VERY bad if it goes off 4 times in the middle of a caster filled camp :).
-You should really have a good bunch of tanks 55+ with you to take the damage, and clerics to heal them. Terror hits for 500+.
-When you pull Terror, he will most likely come with 1-2 Amygdalan Knights. If you can charm them (not sure if possible) or mezz them.
-Unless you are confident you can take the ******* down with your tanks I would also advise pets, and LOTS of them. They are probably not going to react to the AE very well but the more damage you can inflict the better.
-Lastly if you can you may want to try to rune your tanks, we had 2 lvl 59 warriors and 1 lvl 60 there, but the chainruning on them had Terror decide to get rid of the enchanters so I dont know if its the best thing to do.

What percentage of the time to these golems (Fright, Dread, and Terror) drop the "Ball of everliving Golem) for the Warrior epic quest. We killed all 3 last night and they didn't drop any.

No. You just need one Ball of Everliving Golem from either of them. Just one.

Concrete infos anyone?

Anyone know if this one death touch? How is hard is he compared to the others ? (Fright and Terror)
If you know of any others infos, like Hp, special attacks, etc, I would really appreciate to know it... I need to know the more I can before thinking about taking him down for my epic (shm epic, yeah they buffed these guys and now its a pain getting this epic done...)

Had a lil workout in Fear today..engaged 2 of 3 guardians. Dread HT'd, Terror did not...but it should be noted that Dread went down, Terror took apart a 6 group raid not once, but twice. That AoE ice spell of his is a real tickler, I'd much rather have him HTing every 45 seconds =)

When you are death touched you will see: Dread says, "SITKAN!" next you will see: You have taken 20,000 points of damage! and then the ever popular LOADING.... I'm pretty sure that it doesn't matter if Dread's DT is higher then Fright's DT. The point is that its going to kill you instantly. From what I gather, Dread/Fright/Terror will each DT every 45 seconds.

Of course I know what a DT is, I was just wondering if all 3 golems DT (but I'm pretty sure they all do now), and what are their own special attacks, like AE and such things... thanks for responding though.
