Off "The Protector", didn't see them as listed off him, but they do drop off him!

Dropped these for me yesterday, didn't see them listed as him dropping them.

A couple of nights ago he drope the shaded blade for me 12/24 +5 to all saves except fire which is -5. I'll try to link it, lol might not work.

Now I know the mob listing is 47 to 49 and a post back in 2002 mentioned this guy was an even con to him at 47.

Probably, especially if you have good resists... I think he's a shaman. I as a 57 druid was fighting around the entrance the other day and he wasn't much of a match. EXCEPT... he gates towards the end of the fight, and druids don't have anything with which to stun when indoors. So you'd better be ready on a big finishing shot.

The Velious era spell Fury of Air is an indoor stun. There's also a higher level upgrade to that, but that's above the level of character you were discussing here.

He Also drops a Shaded Staff. Nothing mentioned about him dropping it...has a bunch of Resists. Not sure if there is a combine to make it better like the other stuff here...but saw him with a staff and went OOOOOH....I WANT HIS STAFF.. Wasn't the Pallid One.../e SNIFFLE! but then...I'll be there for a lvl or 3...if not in UP... So hopefully I'll be beating him down for it soon. If anyone knows a combine with the shade staff to upgrade it...plz post it.

The no drop shaded armor is combined with mind worm hides(something like that) and some kinda temper I think to make tailored armor. I am not sure if Alla has the info on these combines but I do know EQtraders does. The shaded armor also drops off the robed ones in ME (Xivius and XiXius(?)).

Has anyone seen him spawn recently? I've been spending a good chunk of time in this zone and haven't seen him pop even once. I'm starting to think that the spawn has ben broken/nerfed.
He was there last night, 10/01/02

Well, seems everything is back in order. Was back in this zone on Tue (7/18) and this mob was once again showing up.

I'm in the middle of the Cloak of the Truth quest and I need two of the "rock" drops from this guy. Would I have a problem sitting near the zone and getting someone to give me these items? I'm a lvl 46, would people want me in their group? All I need is two items and I can combine them with the item I have and then its NOT no-rent any more. I'm on Sol Ro server if that helps. If you're headed there, pick me up in Katta. Thanks!

This guy is not lvl 50+ his is a even lvl 47, killed him 5 times yesterday and coned even to me at 47 every time. He is a pushover and spawn's right at the zone. If you just hunt the sentient patroller's and centi dator's there at the zone he will spawn. Seemed to be on about a hour spawn timer or so, mabey an hour and a half. Dispell's, cast's fear 2 and some dot's. Resisted his Fear every time. Hits for about 100 top's and dose not even double attack. The Centi Dator's make him look like a baby in comparison. And he dose not gate or summon.

He does gate. He gated twice on us in one fight just the other day.

Gods, will you stop wasting everyone's time by posting these ridiculous fantasies. This guy is trolling. The shaded armors do not only drop from the Protector, the drop from any of the shades inside Akheva. The chances of any quest involving any of the shaded armors leading to an ANYTHING Of The Protector is almost zero.

he seems to come find you when you fight your way through the ruins. Careful he gates and brings back an ARMY of mobs with him.

Approximately where is he from the zone? I need the no-rent stones from for the Cloak of Truth quest and I need to know how deep is he in the ruins? If anyone else knows what drops those no-rent stones, and how deep in the ruins, I would greatly apperciate it.
