ya i got killed by it and it was a cliric one i think that thay are eather cliric's or SK's so thay can Harm Touch and nuck for like 700 to 900 hp

i conned a mob like this one called xi xaul and he was indiffrent so being a gnome i went over and started to take screen shots of him cause im a 41 newb then when i was in full screen mod he started beating the s**t out of me for no reason i conned him again and he was rta my only thought is that another mob got close to me that was rta and this guy wanted to help

loot on these ive seen is shaded shield 20 ac 5 sv all except -5 sv fire 5 str int caster only
I've seen Xi Xaui range from blue to yellow to my 53 warrior, so I think the range is more like 47 - 54 or higher.

I can confirm that at least some of these mobs can go up to 54 or 55 as well...I've received the "Your target is too high of a level for you to charm" when using Thrall of Bones at level 58.

These mobs can be different classes from clerics, necros, Sk's, or just pure melee. O And its not that tough.
Saw one of these last night on my first trip to Maidens Eye. At level 52 dark elf necromancer they conned indifferent to me. Went to hail him and he just kept on walking , he also had a skeleton pet following. And on a final note he was red to me .

These things are plain out evil, was venturing with my 55 monk dang things killed me almost instantly, they nuke for about 700 or so, be careful around these guys.
nah, they don't nuke... that's just the 700-900 Harm Touch you got hit with... can be deadly if you aggro many at a time, but with a good single puller and a healer, they're no problem.
I find that fear kiting works GREAT in this zone with a good group. They hit too damn hard and fast to straight up melee, although with a high lvl tank, slows/debuffs, it still can be done.

they are kinda tuff but the xi vius are tuffer they harm touch. the pathing is all messed up here i try to pull something and sometimes if i run to far away he runs all over the zone and a xi xiua comes about every 3mins to get me. but i did take 4 in a row with my 54 shaman partner and me 55 mage not much for drops yet,but only killed about 10.

It's not a harm touch bro. I thought it was too for a while. Xi Vius a cleric type mob. That "HT" is just a nuke..I know this because the same mob kept hitting me with it. HT is only good once an EQ day. And he complete healed..woulda healed again but we stunned. Oh yeah we got one of these guys to drop a VERY 00ber pure caster only neck item...hellacious ac and 10 str is all I can remember but there were lots more caster stats on it.

NPC SKs HT much faster, rather every 30min or so.

Some SK mobs can HT as many times as they want. I know this for certain because I have been HT'd 3 times by the same mob in a single battle. The fight lasted less than 5 minutes.
