anyone know what class this guy is, or what kind of strategy to take him? I hear he has over 500k HP. and with all the resists on that sword alone I suspect he's pretty much MR. I also know you have to use Bane weapons specifically forged to kill him. that aside, any idea on strategy?

Sadly enough I do beleive he is a Paladin. That and you'll want to bring a 55+ guild with at least 30 members to take him out...it's not easy to kill someone who could singlehandedly take out all the Gods of Norrath...except for Veeshan maybe...but then again...
Hah, 30, 55+ to take him out! Your dreaming! Your guild of 55+ couldnt even take out the adds around him (conning yellow) assisting a real high end guild of of ALL 60's and you need many of them with many Seru Bane weapons. After you wipe 5 times you start comming up with ideas to kill him.After you pull him to corner of the room try moving all casters to the middle were his throne is, leaving tanks and clerics in corner to heal so all the light weights dont get wiped out. Best Ive seen him at is 70%, tried about 6 times now, getting better as we go. Make sure you bring many clerics, because this **** hit hard. The problem we're having is how to deal with his adds let alone him, gonna need a couple groups to deal with them. they con yellow hit hard and have a decent amout of hps. Good luck, we need it and I think I can pretty much speak for anyone else daring enough to try him.

how do get inside his building?

you dont wanna go in, but to get in you have to kill the 4 "bosses" in the four rooms around him. Then they make either a key or a ring (not sure) that has right click port group. just make lotsa 5 member groups and port yourself in.

heard of turning in shards to Elnerick Augustleaf, problem is, cant find him, so could be wrong info, his loc, or correct quest npc would be good info

Elnerick Augustleaf is in Katta Kastellum, main floor, north hallway, last room on the left.
Thats a good question.. i stay at the moment befor his Building and i can't get in. I spoke with the Guards but they aren't a great help.

the guy at the top said he was lvl 68, what lvl can you go to, isnt it 60?
Highest level is 60, but I have see people say they are level 68, 70, or higher. They mean with there AA points. Rather then say say there level 60 with 8 AA points, they say they are level 68.

If something cons red to a lvl 60, its level can only be estimated. This may be done by calculating how many hitpoints it has, or by how hard it hits. Not an exact science though I guess.

actually it is an exact science,people using certain programs can detect anything about EQ...inc EXACT lvls and stats of mobs..though these programs are illegal..so use with caution...
