Killed With 10 people on 8/27/2003.. No Bane dmg, Plane of Time Flagged Me (bard), sk, necro,mage, 4 clerics, druid, shaman, and enchanter. Sk tanked while i played ds, fight took over 1 hour, but in the end we had a flawless victory. Dropped shoulders, leggings, veil and ancient lcea's lament and of course sword of truth and head. I won head and received ancient song. Intense fight hardest part was probably just fighting to him =p

Hmm, actually sounds doable... With that low number of people you wouldn't need to worry about positioning so much, 'cause you'd be ok with just Remove Curse, isntead of moving melee out during AE, or having healers hidden (6 Remove Cursers for 10 PC). If positioning wasn't an issue the normal guard adds every 20 minutes would become irrelevant. Of course, you'd need to be playing more than just DS. Mana, and Muse at least. But, 2 cheal circle after disease slow, and shaman patch healing would keep a time-flagged SK up just fine. With good agro management by casters and help from chanter's visage, SK could keep hate just fine with taps and VoT even with the virtual perma-stun.
The pets, DS and DoTs alone could do the damage... Hmm, interesting. Still tough, but does indeed sound doable. If it's true, grats and props to you.

Theres a hint in that...both that drop it have zones named after them =P These are the only bridles of bard speeed to be found that u can loot.(no flames about time loot please, cause honestly who gives a **** =P)

That is one nice sword he has there. lol Wonder if you could get bound near him, and try disarm on him constantly, (of course instant death) but if it did work and you only had to try it 100 times, rezes every time you died, wow. Wonder if it's possible?

If your just after the Horse, there are far easier mobs that drops it, Mini bosses at Sanctus Seru also drops Horse Bridle

I believe the mini bosses he's referring to drop silk bridles; only seru & emp can drop the ornate chain. Ornate chain is 85% increased speed, same as the pal/sk AA horse skill. Regular chain bridles (the 100k ones) are 70% and are the fastest buyable. Silk is around 55%.

I am trying to raise faction with Rallic in Katta and obviously this is not the beast I am going to be able to get it from.

Unless....

If a guild or large group were taking him down and I slipped in the occasional dot that would put me on the bottom of the aggro scale when he died would the faction I get be the same as everyone else?

Or is faction doled out on damage done?
I know if I root someone elses kill and they do all the killing when the beastie dies I don't get xp but I do get faction messages.

Is faction scaled or does any involvement mean full faction?

For clarification I am not looking for an easy fix to the faction. I am looking for anything that will work.

I have killed over 700 hands of seru. Gotten faction as described above on 14 named vampyres and then faction as well on about 80 coterie including probably 15 generals. My faction at Katta has not changed at all. They be scowlin when I started they be scowling still.

So the question is was I getting full faction on the vamps and coterie or was it fractionalized based on damage I had done?

Apart from the fact that the guild who takes him down would have to take you into the raid and port you with them to his room...

He's not standing in a location you'll reach by yourself.

Normally I wouldn't bother saying anything but at the time I'm writing this Batachapain above me has a crap Magelo, notice he has multiple advanced innate skills but yet not a single maxed out innate skill which is a prerequisite to the advanced skills. I don;t know warrior skills so I can't say anything on the rest but when i see someone who posts a character that is way better than almost everyone it seems a little bit much and he gives it away with his AA skills.

I think you missed the inherant problem.... You'd have to pick the item up and then give it to your pet. Being that it's no drop, you can't create the second action :)

However, just because it is NO DROP doesn't mean you can't hand it to someone. . .

It's just that someone can't be another player. Think of a few quests out there with NO DROP components (Velious Armor comes to mind). As far as I know, Pets are considered Non Player Characters so thoretically, you could give this to a pet. . .

I am sorry to say he is not soloable it takes quiet a force just to take him down. To just touch him you need bane wepons especially for him and he is extremly hard. His wepon is not for pets it is for a quest but no one has found what it is yet

What exactly did you mean by that post there? Is it something you made up or did you read about it in some EQ lore? If it was based on lore please put up a link to where you read it because if I'm correct in a theory of mine I may have the answer of how to do something nobody has been able to do yet. Let's just say it'll be huge.

Vindi officially corpse camped by the good guild Black Prophecy when speed tried to train us out of seru and we commenced to own the guild of vindi then corpse camp them until their res timers ran out, grats speed on doing nothing good but training, grats good team on owning vindi with minimal casualties.
