Nobody will probally read this but these have about 1900-2000 hp's. 2 conflagrations and 1 minor spell (i use icicle shock lvl 10 125dd ) and that usually takes them out. sommtimes i have to hit them once with my wep to kill them.
well i was in Echo a few hours ago and my 26 druid was soloin... well i should say trying... i got one down to last bulb of life easily... only prob is im new to being a druid and wasnt payin attention to my root... it unrooted and another one agroed and killed me cause i didnt know how to use the lift lol, im kinda new to the game, well im just curious if anyone else thinks they are massively easy =p
Brought my necro here a little late...45..but soloed all the way to 50..yes thats right 50. The xp is SWEET here...but there is rampant KSing/camp stealing. People please do an /ooc camp check..bec there are definite areas...even though there are multiple mobs.
Even though this zone is HIGHLY repetitive, im going to bring all my chars here at one point.
fyi ... camps are the names of a commonly known area where people park/hunt. NOT a grounds to be claimed and fought over. Curtesy dictates that one should ask before taking mobs from a certain area. Too many people become overly upset when someone kills a mob that is "supposedly theirs".
NO PERSON OWNS A CAMP OR MOB! Yes you are there first so you should have the right to kill those mobs. People who arrive later also have a right to kill mobs in that zone. As long as they do not KS (kill steal) you, they are not doing anything wrong.
In conclusion, ... 1. Curtesy states u should tell the person who is already there that "you're moving in". 2. Do NOT KS other players. 3. Do not get mad if another player also wishes to hunt there. (you don't own the "camp" noR the zone).
What's not mentioned here is they drop Underbulk Bile also. No idea what purpose it serves yet. It is drinkable. But it's No Rent. Wasn't paying attention to the No Rent part as my group hunted there and we looted. Then went to the merchant to sell and she says,"I'll give you 8pp for the Underbulk Bile". I thought cool, since I had a stack. Then went to hit "sell" and the key was faded. Oh come on! Why tease us like this?? sigh. So now I just hold my nose and drink it...:)
Strange as it seems, this NO RENT item is also an ingredient in a brewing recipe. It's one of 3 biles (along with Putrid and Skylash) that go into Innothule Triple Bile a +5 save magic drink. So I suppose you need to get a couple of the other biles saved up, then hunt some underbulks and go brew before you log. Anyone ever heard of other tradeskill ingredients being NO RENT?
I have to agree. Similar to levels of mobs in Dreadlands. Did some PL'ing of a 44 cleric with a 52 Warrior in both DL and these, and these have significantly lower hps, hit much lower, and give better xp (due to the indoor bonus is my guess). Too bad the respawn rate is slow.
I decided to explore echo caverns and see what i can fing to kite. I proceeded to track a dark blue umberbulk and start by ensnare rooting, and dot and nuke it broke my root and started to hit for 50 and 60 up to 90 damage. After a quick root and heal i was able to finish it off w/ very little mana left.
good xp but kinda a pain to kite when they break root spells really quick
these guys are undercons's but great xp none the less, I started hunting here with a friend who told me xp was sweet here. So Twew, So twew, NO its twew. I am a soloing pali, so beating up on these guys is easy, especially since I dinged 45 and Deep water helm now triggers. Just root, rub helm, rub helm, rinse and repeat Still killing these guys at 45 (less than a yellow to 46) and still getting over a half blue xp per fight with very little down time (thanks again to deepwater helm).
Good luck all.
P.S. Made the mistake of telling a friend of this spot, he/she then told guild, now, I get people coming right beside me and pulling mobs and dying, is not a good spot for multibples unless your put a group near the zone to the deep.
AMD OH YEA IF YOU VENTURE IN TO A SPOT WHERE SOMEONE IS HUNTING, DO NOT ASSUME THEY WANT TO GROUP, AND BY ALL MEANS LEAVE THEM ALONE WHEN ASKED???

I love this guy he drops most of the time Underbulk claws and the Bile I just loot the claws they sell for 3pp per very nice.Every time i go in this i get about 100pp. These bugs (there nick name on my sever is bugs) are easy to kill hit kind of low and not alot of poelpe know how much the claws go for so im living in the high right now =). If you want to have some fun and have no group with you pull about 4 bugs and train them on the guards hehehe. well so long good hunting and kick some *** for me
I can't help but help and wonder why you would ask that. The poster said his/her name was Hlean, not Hleaten, and he said he was a shaman, not an enchanter.
They also drop underbulk bile. I haven't hunted them long, maybe killed 20 at the most. gotten bout 5 or 6. Its a drinkable item, but think 2 equals about 1 normal water. Its no rent, so even though merchants say that they will pay 8pp per, they won't.
Personally I cant believe that the claws arent in higher demand by rogues, who are one of the thrown weapon specialists. 10dmg is great to begin with.... FIFTEEN delay? That is one unbelievable ratio.... and to top it off they have a 150rng?!
I was exploring caves with my 30lvl Cleric and found few beast at dead end that was black to me. Others I encountered was red so there are underbulks in two different groups at least.
The ones under the elevator (where the dead end and miner are) are much lower, mid20ish. The ones in the rest of cave are around 35 and stay blue until high 40's. You can find a dark blue sometimes when your 50, but it's rare.
Well at the elevator they aren't mid 20, but exactly lvl 30. When I was lvl 41 they all conned darkblue always. At lvl 42 they all con lightblue always. Now I'm a Mage and I can summon lvl 29-33 Pets at my lvl. If I summon a 34-hitting Pet (lvl 30) it cons lightblue to me, if I get a 36-hitting Pet (lvl 31) it cons darkblue to me. So since they always were darkblue to me at 41 and are now always lightblue at lvl 42 my conclusion is that they ones at the elevator are lvl 30.
