YES anyone can take this.
We did it with a 53 Druid, 52 Monk, 57 shaman, and a 50 Warrior. It aggroed the Druid mostly but we all servived and won. Make druid main healer, shaman to slow it and umm try to keep it rooted.

Aye I took him out solo at 54 with my necro, although it did take me most of my mana :)only resisted root alot snares took most times, and poison dots. could not get him to fear or root for very long.

Could me, 55 monk, and my RL cousin, 59 bard, and his GF, 59 druid, take one of these guys...? I need some of this armor :-) The sleeves are what I am gonna go for!:-P Super uber stats for sleeves, beats Azure lmao! Both the Ancient and Shattered can spawn in any of the spots the Eternals spawn in. I've killed each in different spots all around the temple.
Same goes for the named snakes. All Revs are a possible PH.

Where does this guy spawn? The pic looks like at temple, are any of those eternal golems his PHs or any certain ones? tks.

Just soloed this beast. Was quading near temple and had both named golems spawn at once. Dont think I could have done it without my Warden of Tunare symbol (clickable root). Just kept rooting and dotting with winged death and clicky drones. Took almost all my mana (220 wis), never resisted dots, resisted less than half the roots. Never hit me once (AC? whats that?). Dropped sleaves.

Took him down today with a 58 druid after going through about 2 dozen Eternal golems. I started him out with ensnare and a grasping roots (I know thats a lvl 5 spell but use what works right) and then just kept Winged death up on him for about 10 to 12 mins. He never resisted Winged Death and i had a very low resist rate on Grasping roots but since he was also ensnared it wasn't a problem. He does have well over 10k hp and when he did hit me he hit about 420 a round between doubles attacks and bashing. He dropped the Hardened Grey Flesh sleeves btw. have fun with him and good luck with the spawn.

ok did it. 55magician and 55shaman took this scrout down :) wasn't so bad at all. has about 12k hp though and hits 161 everytime. got the trousers twice so far. we had fullmana and were down to 20m at the end of the fight. i pulled with malosi. she slowed him down. pets taunted i nuked and she dot'd . then heal the pets and repeated nuke heal . tuffest part is he has sooo many hp's. you don't wanna try to take this guy with two lvl 60 warriors . kite fear charm slow something works better than straight up tanking.

last night my group and I took one down and it looked like the snake men . . . it dropped the shissar headband. it was named An Ancient Shissar Sevrit - so - is that the generic name for mobs that drops stuff or what???

me 55mage and 54shaman are gonna try him if he pops. will post more after that :D ,but i sure hope we can the shattered golem was pretty easy. and if this dude only hits for 15more damage per swing he's gonna die ). slow everything shamans rule. fire cold resist is high on him i'm sure. dot is the way to go.

He dropped a Hammer of Gonnakillyou which is 100000000000 DMG 6 dly 100 to all stats and saves. If you need a group to kill it You Must Really SUCK!!!

Dropped Grey Flesh Trousers AC 7 +35 hp +35 mana all/all 1.0 weight.
Hits 160s, doesn't summon, has a lot of hp. Killed him with charmed shissar revanants.. he killed 2 of the charmed mobs and had third at 60% by the time he fell.
He also procs "Golem Smash" when he melees, which stuns you and spins you like whirl till you hurl (very deadly if you're a caster considering he'll get in about 5 rounds of melee hitting 160s unslowed till you can move again) so keep MR decent.

None of these guys are that hard not the named snakes or golems outside the temple , can be killed by 2 60's so a good group of 50's could kill it I am sure
Ok now that we know his drops, what does it take to take this big beast down. Can he be done with one group, or is he a raid type mob like alot of mobs his level. How many HP, and what is his magic resistance, all these things would be very helpfull.

He can be EASILY taken down with one group.

If this is the right one im thinking off, he drops shissar scale cloak, +6 INT +6 WIS AC 5 i beleive, maybe a bit of other stats, and another piece of Shissar scale, maybe legs.

Grey Flesh Tunic Mnk/Bstlrd (rare)
Shattered Golem
Grey Flesh Gloves (common)
Harness of Grey Flesh (uncommon)
Golem's Jawbone (rare)
(ive only seen jawbone drop 3 times in 8 days of camping this spot)
There is also 2 named snakes that drop some nice gear (whose named i don't recall)
