At what level can the TM be pulled without adding the undead slaves? I don't have the ability to lull them. Thanks.

I single pulled him at 49. Just went into room and cast nullify magic on him no adds pulled to hallway and rooted and doted. easy kill at 49.

I started soloing here at around level 48 (small groups before that) and I could not single pull without soothe or pacify until level 51, which btw, is the point at which this camp became useless for good xp.

Just wanted to tell you that he is of Undead type both my Instrument of Nife and Expulse Undead hit him.
camped this room easy on my 44 chanter.
Pacify mobs then cajole a skelly and pull snake to hallway.
tash him and then everything sticks. Otherwise I get resisted.
Can clean the room with the one skelly pet.
If I get slack I just rune him once or twice and then invis after fight, root nuke him for the last lil bit of his life points and rinse repeat on pops.
So with a lull line of spells under 50 can single pull the room, no prob at all. I'm heading to 49 (new spells YAY!) have been here since 44

I hunted thiss wonderous creation since my 48th lvl. If I had known he was so easy I would have been on him since 44. I am a necromancer, and all necessary spells are Call of Bones, Vampiric Embrace, Rest the Dead, and of course Dooming Darkness and Invoke Fear.
Use rest the dead on the skelly to the right of the doorway, and Snare the TM. Send in pet and fear. Make sure you keep him feared, cause if not he will make short work of your pet.
Still good xp at 49 but much easier now.

You're forgetting something: it's called 'Shackle of Spirit'. The Taskmaster is undead, and SoS is something like a 70% undead slow, which vastly reduces the damage he can do to your pet. Using the 49 pet you can pull with SoS, throw on a couple of DoTs, and the pet regens so fast (and lifetaps) that it was typically barely down 20% of its hit points by the time the Taskmaster died. The 44 pet isn't as tough, but it should still be able to tank decently once the Taskmaster is slowed.
If you can fear him (undead or regular fear, but not animal fear), then he is cake. I flew through level 50 just hunting him and the undead slaves.
The trick is to keep him feared. I used the level 9 pally undead fear (10 mana, laff). This fear lasts 20 seconds, so I placed a clock near my monitor and counted off 16 seconds in between casts.
The only buffing/healing I used came from a DW helm. The only spells I casted were IoN and VoM every 25 minutes.

Today my 42Bst and a 43 Dru took him down super easy.
the trick i learnt is to root, snare and dot. as long as you do this none of his lacky skeletons will add. so you can get away with doing this camp without even touching a fleshless bone

I think the organ drop rate from this guy may have been nerfed, i killed him 22 times on Turkey Day and not a single organ
hey the taskmatser also droped a no drop shissar mask its magic and lore also if anyone knows what quest this is for it would be most apprcieated

47 War, 42 Cleric, easy as pie, didn't even need a CH, cleric tossed on a few undead only nukes/DoT's and a few stuns, and we were good to go, killed him a ton of times this way. Droped organs only once out of maybe 10 or 15 kills, droped ore a few, wip a few, never seen scale yet, skull every time. The cleric i was with said something about the skulls being for some warrior quest in Katta...no clue if she is right or not.

Killed him when i maxed my 2hb skill. Pretty easy for a 47 sk with granite face grinder. he has low MR and snare fear were unresistable.
Looted shissar organs, and skull, no idea for what are used. Will be very pleased if aynones know.

Don't know about the skulls, but you can turn in 3 Shissar Organs in Katta Castallum, and get a neck piece that has permanent enduring breath. It's easier to get them off of the Shissars in The Grey.

I too have just looted a Shissar Organ. also with that loot i got the <you'll never guess> the cracked shissar skull <how you know?>, the whip and a polished serpant scale. What are these scales for?
Last night group of me (42 warrior), 40ish Bard and Shaman, 30 warrior and 34 bard did this bad boy a few times. Found out he can be level 42 (conned white to me each time). Also, our older bard was able to harmony the undead slaves to get a clean pull. That really makes it easier.
Oh and seeing that big bad X guy pop just as you're about to pull the taskmaster is always good for a freak-out.

I am a 51 Pally and solo him without loseing 1 bub of HP, His skellie friends con Apprehenisive so they are no prob. WTF Is the skull for I get it every darn time, and it's got to be for something cuz it's no drop, well its NOT lore that makes it even weirder, is it a quest you can do over and over?!?!!? WTF

Solo'd this mutt from 52 to 54 with my Bst. Easy camp as long as you pull to the corridor, Must have destroyed more 30+skulls as they drop every time. Still no clue what they are used for.

I was helpin a couple of guildies take him down last night and he does drop the guts.We took him down 4 times myself (36 ranger),a 47 ranger and 46 druid.The druid died once.The 47 ranger was pulling with snare and we got 2 adds every time,the last time we pulled him snare didnt stick and we got no adds seems like the trick pullin him under 50 is not to use snare.My question is does anyone know what the skull is for i got one in the bank and being my pack rat self need to clean out.Any info on the skull would be great.

This is one of the best camps for a paladin near lvl 50. At lvl 51 i was able for solo all the cave without agro anything when pulling (except enchanter of course) and was geting nice exp. By the way i get my EB neck item. I was getting almost 2 blues per hour soloing and i never use LoH. Wish this help some palys ;).

took him out tonight with me( 51warrior ) and my 48warrior buddy, got him down to the "a" in taskmaster before he got me(tanked whole fight for 8-105 and no heals=( ) oh well, buddy finished him up, dinged 49=) and get some whip which went to his little brother. He seems soloable if you use the jousting technique... or you uber casters and just cast the **** outta him

Went first to echo a few months ago at 34, killed Task many many times. To pull him without adds you have to be 50+. My friend along with 2 60 chanters and some others in a group killed Xilniov and he dropped some sweeet items. 10k boots called Terror Boots, friend showed them to me himself. Also drops a piece to upgrade chanter epic, and also drops a sword i think. friend couldnt remember what else he dropped. i remember back at about 36 i was in a group and we pulled him, it was the second time my friend had been in a group pulling him. he charmed the 48 war in our group twice, then we ran to zone, where we tried to fight him again, he charmed our 50 war and the war killed the cleric in our group lol. anyways it was fun got some nice screenies of him, but havent tried him since. task is easy with a healer and a melee, dont even need a full group. sucks though when X buffs task when they are both spawned. Task conned even to me at 43, but also conned even to a 41, and actually i think he can spawn as high as 44. X is 52.
