the queen spawns 24hr after being killed
a Melted Stone Crystal and eye for me.
Molo'd as a 27 bard w/ clr merc with mostly defiant gear and Skinspikes VI. merc got down to.. maybe 90% mana. 5ish min fight with 12% xp!

killed her twice as a low 30s and 35 necro the last time. Easy fight dropped eye twice.

I soloed her today with my lvl 31 ranger, only using self buffs, (also, this is not a twinked character). (she conned red to me btw)
She was hitting VERY hard and i was down to 20% HP when she was still at 70-80%, so i cast snare and starting kiting with my bow and damage spells, took quite a long time but eventually she died. (i got a crapload of exp from it too :D)

Very strange I soloed her with a lvl 31 pally using A Dull Emergeiac Broadsword and skinspikes, tossed in a root spells, and still finished with 18% she dropped the eye and words of resolve, but no weapon

I was bored today and I remembered Queen Kvaknak whom I used to see when I leveled here with my monk and a bit with my beastlord near ML zoneline. *Somebody* gives me the information that she is level 35, but nothing else, so I think that I can definately take her. I arrive in Marus Seru, cast 39 pet, cast 39 pet proc, and 39 Pet Haste. No other buffs since this is a level 35.. I pull with drowsy, it is resisted, so I send in pet to attack her. She ignores the pet and attacks me. I melee a bit until my pet gains enough hate so I can back off and pet cleric. I cast drowsy and it sticks. The Queen is hitting for a maximum of 114 damage and is doubling as well. It took me 3 pet heals of 583hp each to accomplish killing Queen Kvaknak, jumping in once to fight for about 10 seconds until I was knocked down to 33%. Along with casting heals I also pulled off two Ice Spears (150 dd) which did 4-5% damage, so the Queen has 3000 to 3150hp. Queen was a little resistant against disease, no resistance against cold. Queen did not run on low hp. She dropped Kvaknak's Horn (25/48 5ac 2hpierce). This was a solo fight, no mind candy.
Going to Mons Letalis.... I saw a bug....
I got my can of "RAID(tm)" and begin spraying the bug with a "37 ranger, 45 SK, 46 druid, and 47 (soon to be...) 48 pali....
Boy... The hardest part was that it ran away after being snared, but I believe that was the common error of my lil SK friend.
The palli tanked the bug till it croaked, as he watches the bug max out a 120dmg and double 60....
Nice wep though... really nice.

anyone here think a lvl 36 ranger could take her? even one with a centi SS and a Sarnak Skullsplitter?
Maybe, just maybe if you had every buff possible including temp. I tried her solo at level 37 with temp and all my ranger self buffs. She was at 15 percent health and I was at 9 percent so I decided to take a look at the nearest zone line. She hits very hard, dodges like crazy, parries and ripostes like an Olympic fencing champ.
I haven't figured out her spawn time yet, but all 6 times I've seen her up, she's been at the tunnel entrance to Mons Letalis, clearly visible from the plains of Marus Seru. I've never seen her up 2 days in a row, more like every second or third day. A major undercon, tougher than the wolves in Dawnshroud for sure. Almost as tough as the stonegrabbers in Mons Letalis.... ouch.

had my 30 ranger 27 monk 29 cleric with c3 and a bu 40 cleric not grouped healing. Took all healers mana reverse kiting and what seemed 10min...hehe like a mini epic and she died. she hits real hard but my wizzy loves her eye. i wanna kill her again hehe. again clerics were oom and i was outa arrows..been trying to get her to spawn again hope killin the bugs will do it.

I had never seen this mob before, saw her this morning, noticed it was a named, and conned it while I was on my way to Mons Letalis. She conned light blue to my 48 enchanter, so I decided to try to take her . . . with no pet. Big mistake! I had her rooted, and down a half a bar of mana with 183 int I decided I needed a pet. My nukes weren't phasing her. She gobbled up my pet like he was a bag of potato chips and had me fleeing to the zone with zero mana, no pet, and 60% health. I sat at the zone to NL for a bit medding, cast a new pet, gave him a secondary weapon, buffed up as usual and added Rune IV to myself and my pet, med to full again, and headed back. She was still there. Tashed, slowed, dotted, and rooted, I parked my pet on her. I concentrated on keeping my pet with Rune IV, and it took 3 of them, 2 suffocates, and the rest of my mana toggling between Gravity Flux and Discordant Mind. Finally brought her down with an empty bar of mana and pet at full health, but I could have killed 3 dark blue cons in Tenebrous Mountains with what it took to bury her.
heh, same thing happened to me...Im running along with my 54 SK, and zone into Marus seru and see a giant friggin beatle in the way. Realizing it was a named and green naturally started fighting. She almost beat my ***, I couldnt stand toe to toe with her and she resisted my fears. So I ended up run her all around the zone and finally killing her with spears, syphon, and darkness spells.

ok, today she showed up on tracking and i went into cave looking for her...never found her...tracking said she was there, but no Queen...WTF?

She has no place holder, she does not spawn next to the zone, like directly. She spawns in the middle of the tunnel. You have to kill many beetles not hatchlings as you can, it took me 3 hours. But oyu have to kill the hatchlings in order to get teh beetles to spawn.

I got her pop spot, the question is, is she triggered or just a really really long spawn? I Stop by constantly in Mseru to check but nothing so far, I camped her for a couple days after i first killed her.

I've killed every lil beetle in the zone a hundred times. I've killed her seemingly curious place holders. I've even sat there for hours on end. I got her once when Luclin first came out, was probably the first in Xegony to grab her. I got her eye, but want her horn.
Does anyone have definite info on this Big girl? Is she linked to another zone quest or what? Good solid info would be greatly appreciated. :)

I tried the good old fashion way of killing her place holder, no luck. So I tried the old Queynos Newbie yard tactic of killing all the Rhino Beetles I could find, and what do you know, she spawned. She HITS HARD!!!! and has around 2k hp so be ready for it. Best advise I can give, don;t let her hit you...

She has more than 2k hp more like 5k hp cause when she spawned i had my 57 cleric nuke her for 612 and she didn't go down quite one blue she also hit between 85 and 115 she is mean as they come for her level.

I killed her on Xegony when Luclin first came out. I enlisted the help of a fellow druid and she and I took her out with little worries. I was 36 and she 52 so we were both relativly high for her. She is a little under con'd...............................What is her spawn time? I got her eye and gave it to a friend, hehe now i'd like another but she's always down when i go to marus. The horn is great too I've seen someone with it not a bad piece at all. pls reply if you got an estimate on spawn time thnx

Finally saw her after 5 or so levels in Marus Seru. Hit very hard, and a necro finished her off for the monk and me trying to kill it. Dropped the Eye. :) Spawns in the tunnel to Letalis BTW~
