I've gotten fire emeralds as well as star rubies off of these pandas, as well as fur and panda claws. They are all still blue to me at 47 and some say that these pandas may be as high as lvl 40. They can double hit for 80's and have relatively high mr.

Yup, these guys do drop gems, even the young panda's do with a decent amount of regularity, though better ones tend to come off the elders. But hey, Panda Poaching can be quite profitable....
