Ok, let me try to give the simplest directions possible, as I have just come back to the game & had a hard time understanding most of the previous posts. Took me a solid day to find his spawn spot, although years ago I knew this zone pretty well. I wont deal with the undead/living mob situation in this post. Just realize you cant get to this guy without some ingenuity.

Zone into Chardok. Ivisi & Lev. Head down hall until you reach the entrance to the fort. If your facing the fort, to your left is the exit hall(cant zone out the way you came in) & a raised hall up the wall. Head up the exit ramp a bit, turn around, hug left wall and ride the ceiling til you can reach the raised hallway.

This is where mobs start to mix. Head down this hall and make your first right. Pass the door on your right, head up the ramp, turn right and head across the bridge. Follow the path to the next bridge and cross it. This is the room where he spawns. There are 4-5 undead "ground" spawns in this room, 1 on the right, 3-4 on the left. He is 1 of the ones on the left.

(At lvl 58SK, about 30aa's, most in damage mit, defiant appropriate gear. This is a hard room to split and get going, the 2 mobs that wander the path are on a pop timer a few minutes faster than the rest of the room.

For those who did not like my Journal of Xeether Xslayer, Also for Chris I dont use invis spells in Chardok as you will need all of your mana, whats 10 plat for a potion between friends. Unless you cant afford them.

Go into Chardok, use the enterance with the four undead and turn the first right, you will zone into Chardok, and be in a tunnel procced down until you reach the house, alot of undead usually go in the middle through the door and down to the right you will come across a bridge, Jump down use float, FD if you have agro, and you will be by slaves, If aggrod wait a bit with FD then go the only way you can and make the first right. you come to a T intersection, go left, then you will come to a place where you can go straight more or less or a very sharp hair pin right, take the hair pin turn right, and proceed upward, this is the bridge of Ancients, right before getting to the bridge, look right for a stone Archway, take the path right through the archway, the path to the right it is kinda like right at the beginning of the ancient bridge, go through the archawy and you will see undead in what look like trenches, the path goes in in a left curve on the inside of the curve in the trench at the loc above is where he spawns. he will be the on the middle of the left curve more or less lyin on the edge in a trench. is him or his PH. Hope this helps

Day 3...From The journals of Xeether Xslayer level 59 SK

I gated back to POK for restock and to LOG my Merchant for I was running low on plat, as these mercs can cost you alot.... I headed back to Chardok Upon my Unholy Steed And dismounted at the gates, I was reluctant to try again for I was tired of killing Ska Tu over and over again, also the dreaded Undead in the way of my Invisible I knw it would be a tough road to get to him. Following the same path after zone in, I invised and to my surprise and pleasant one at that there was absolutley no undead anywhere to be seen what luck. I hurreid down the path through the first door that usually houses "at least one undead" and down the path to the first right again heading slightly upward to the first bridge, agina no undead, I jumped down and met the Poor SLaves again but was still invis and through the only exit taking the first right again still no undead I was sure something was up...I hurried to the left downward then the sharp right upward to the guardian bridge again no undead..I made it all the way on one Invis Pot. Got back to the grave yard and a PH was up I killed it quick and ten minutes laterSka Tu rose again killing him I was like Charlie trying to find the golden ticket and nothing but a bauble...Will this madness end? After 5 hours of Place Holders I figured Ska Tu gave up spawning...I was about to give up hope when he popped one more time..I killed him and WOOOT. I GOT THE PRIZE I WAS AFTER the spell: Shroud of Undeath dropped with some crystalized sulfer. THE END FOR SURE THIS TIME !! HAPPY HUNTING ALL YOU SK'S

Not to destroy your literary aspirations but a couple of things. First; this isn't the place to do a 5000 word short story, how about some clear directions to where this mob spawns? Second; why are you even bothering with invis potions? If you're running an SK and have even a hint of a clue then you should have been using <Gather Shadows> against live mobs and <Invisibility vs. Undead on the UNDEAD mobs>. Sheesh, it's not that hard to switch between the 2 since you can mem both at once.

Well Chrislr he actually gave very good directions if you have ever been in Chardok. And he didnt need to use ITU since he said he didnt come across undead, invis pots are nice to carry since you can cast on the fly if invis starts to drop.

Day 1 Part 4 Final Episode.... From The Journals of Xeether Xslayer 59 SK (ZEK)

After Killing him the first time I did not want to give up so I figured I would stay for him to respawn again. After clearing mobs the second time approximately 10 minutes of waiting Something repopped I was not inluck as it was a Reannimated Berserker...PH I Killed it quickly and figured this was going to be hell....After another 10 -12 minutes and another round of killing He repopped again What Luck !! I dispatched him quickly and was overjoyed until I looted him and he dropped A Shai Din Bauble and Spell Incinerate Bones...I was dissapointed yet again...And thought here we go...EQ at its finest...I camped for 6 hours and killed it 8 times in the 6 hour period..It dropped the bauble 4 times. the Spell Incinerate Bones...NECRO 3 times , Nathsar Gloves 2 times no spells at all 2 times just gloves or bauble A (WIZ) Spell not even on the list 1 time and the Spell Acumen 1 time....SO basically I did not get anything I wanted the first day......Day 2. I camped for another 6 hours this time it only spawned 3 times.. did it drop anything good not at all I am beginning to think that this MOB doesnt even drop my spell...ANd meanwhile I am silently cussing at EQ for I am getting weary...On a positive Note: I have my AA exp set at 100% and havbe made 25 AA's in the two days I have SOLO'd here.. lucky for someone my level they havent happened by because the mood I am in I would not have hesitated to PK them on the spot as all of my effects are up and a Leech touch with a couple of Lifetaps of Unholy Aura 856 a tap take them to 46% and HT to drop them on the spot would have been thier fate but alas I have been and remain alone waiting for the drop of my ellusive spell...

I will get it rest assured.....END of Journal

Day 1 Part 3 From The Journals of Xeether Xslayer 59 SK (ZEK)

After Medding for what seemd like hours....I recast my pet and My mercenary Buffed him up I had spare weps for him luckily. I could feel it I was almost there. I proceeded Down the (Right) Path from the second Bridge and saw what appeared to be a murky waterfall on each side along with a Stone Archway and Two Foul looking Dizok Gravemasters ( Light Blue ) Guarding a path I invised past them and saw Reanimated Berserkers Lying to my left and right in what looked like trenches. Of course running past the first one did no good as it broke my 4th invis pot and the battle was on again Two Grave Masters two Reannimated Berserkers and an Unfortunate Dizok Runner who happened to be roaming at the same time. The beserkers conned (DB) but they all went down rather easily compared to the hellish battle only moments before. After clearing those I chose not to invis and with 85 % mana remainging cleared the two Beserks on the right that did not agro I medded up and continued down the path And lo and Behold.. The fourth Creature on the right was Battle Master Ska Tu I found him I figured he is a skelly so he is undead ...I was wrong as undead spells do not effect him. I killed him and hedropped A Shai Din Bauble, and Spell Incinerate Bones...I was In Shock and dissapointment as this reward was pathetic (to be continued)

Day 1, Continued from the Journals of Xeether Xslayer...

From the Slaves when you jump off the right side of the bridge...
Still Invis, I went forward to the lone Dizok Zealot and turned right. I encountered my second Undead and Invis broke again I quickly dispatched the creature and Used my Third Invis Potion. I came to a path leading left or right. Right headed upward so I chose Left downward still invis. Then usng my map I decided it best to head toward the main inner chambers so I came to a sharp fork in the path and took the sharp right heading upward. Where I cam to the Second Bridge with the dreaded Ancient Guardian I tried to sneak past and take the first Right on the bridge but invis broke by A hidden undead I was jumped by several Dizok and a Few foul Wardogs / Sniffers as well Lucky for me I had Full Mana, Harm Touch, Leech Touch and Unholy Aura up. After killing what seemd like 15 Agrod mobs and using all my Merecenary's mana and all my Procs. I used my 4th Invis Potion. Unfortunately my pet was the victim as it died Valiently giving me the precious time I needed to HT the Ancient ( Dark Blue ) and win the battle. I limped to the right The first right prior to crossing the bridge, Square Stone Pillars on each side of the path and Sat down for awhile to recover my HP and Mana (to Be continued)

From The Journals of Xeether Xslayer 59 SK....Zek

Day 1. I proceeded to Chardok Alone atop my Black Hell Stallion with my trusty mercenary Cleric Tethille ( High Elf Female) Tier 1 Journeyman. And my pet fully geared. I dismounted at the Front gate in awe at the size of the fortress. It had been a long time since my first visit with most unfortunate results. But now I was here for vengence and my scroll a meaningful purpose. I invised up and proceeded through the first archway leading in to The inner Keep I could have easily slain the four guards but did not want to waste time. Past the middle enterence and Zoned into Chardok. With My invis still up I proceeded down the corridor to the main Enterence to my dismay an Undead Foul Creature was Standing guard I Ran through and breaking my invis encountered the first battle about 10 of the foul inhabitants known as Dizok After a rather long battle I slayed them all. It felt good to kill them all after they have spilled my Iskar blood once before. I invisibled again and got lucky no more undead in my path I went down the path turned right and came across the first bridge. I jumped Down over the side and floated down to the poor slaves, but this was no rescue mission. Proceeding past to the Dizok ahead of me I once again turned Right still invis (to be continued)

Wow I take the time to look this guy up and find out he drops the spell i want and the jeldorin... and a better idea at his location woot. I took a group consisting of some friends from my guild.
65 Beastlord
61 Necromancer
51 Shaman
51 Necro
53 Shadowknight (Myself and the guild leader)
The 61 necro and myself were wandering around chardok for about 3 hours just killing junk while we looked for skatu, but never found him so the other said they would help out. It didn't work out the way we wanted because the shammy got killed by mobs then the 61 necro and 65 beast got pked so we were screwed. Time for a retry today I guess. MUST GET my spell and the jeldorin for my pally.

This camp is proooobably soloable by a 65+ Shadowknight or Pally but if you're a caster class, it's not likely to work out for you unless you're very well-geared. This is only a guess though. There are tons of adds and they all hit in the 150+ range. Sometimes root alone just doesn't cut it, as they seem to not take it well anyway.

The real problem is honestly to actually get to the camp. While there are no see invis along the way, the path is dotted with both dead and live monsters, so only a rogue can get to the camp without drawing any aggro. In the first part that isn't too much a problem since stuff is fairly low-level (41-46), but on the bridge (Second bridge I should say), if you get aggro from even one mob, you get aggro from several 50-55-ish things. They add like crazy. Luckily I don't remember there being any undead on the bridge itself but I could be wrong.

Onto the camp.

Once you get to the room with two bridges ("The Bridge Camp") you're gonna want to head west the first time one of the bridges allows. It is directly west of The Bridge Keeper whose Placeholder is An Ancient Guardian. Despite being twenty feet tall and butt-ugly, a 66 monk seemed to have absolutely no trouble tanking it. Then again it was also slowed.

Battlemaster Ska'tu spawns in a 'ditch' west of the bridge(s). Two mobs spawn on the path, one being a necromancer mob, and one an undead sarnak skeleton. Two more spawn by the waterfall and are stationary but a third paths up and down the path which runs along the ditch, so be careful of that.

On your map the camp is directly northeast of the bottom rooms labeled on the map (King's room? Don't remember.), and southwest of the most 'heavily populated' area of the map. It's pretty easy to get there, mobs aside. Just keep heading south, then southwest.

I'm a 66 enchanter with 100+ AAs including Gather Mana, and this run was Incredibly mana-intensive for me. Granted my group was being sloppy because they knew I could handle the adds but it can get truely ridiculous. I suggest you bring more than one slower/form of crowd control if doing this with a group.

Drops: Was after Shroud of Undeath. Camped him for around four hours, and only got several Nathsar Bracers to show for it. I take it back. Only one. They're lore. Heh.
