ummm does anyone realize how much the wizzy needs a pet....iv been playing my wizzy adn believe me....IT WOULD HELP SO MUCH.....have u ever tried to solo eith a wizzzy unles u have the wicked skill in alteration....the roots or enstill or whatever ur using will most often get resisted the WAM u get the sh*t beaten out of ur pretty little wizzy head.....just a thought dont mind me im on medication....hehe

Well I hope this is the new Wiz pet graphic because Wizards should be more powerful than Mages and Verant has finally realized that they are not. Wizards have always been meant to do more damage than Mages and now finally they will be able too .

The reason why wizards dont have pets, is because wizards nukes are stronger. The point being of not having a super strong caster. Wizards get stronger nukes at the expense of not having a pet like mages. The new familiars will help some, but not like mage tanks do. Wizards always could out damage a mage, but at the cost of needing to group with a tank. Just the way balancing works.

2. VI may do some stupid, stupid, mind numbingly stupid things... but i think i speak for all when i say that they will never give a wizard a pet even on par with an sk skellie. even they have more sense than that.
3. play a mage because you enjoy the ride. if you want to be all uber powerful at level 60 play some other class. just a few thoughts.

actually wiz do get pets at lvl 48 i believe with the new luclin expansion
and i believe it is called summon familiar :)
