hmm might come and kill him for my level 15 cleric. Would a 45 monk have a hard time getting cleric down there? Or should i bring 34 druid along for ride

In 3 days of camping the lower level of befallen i have not seen him once. Although the Blackened Wand does drop, it drops from Priest Amiaz.

I know he still spawns because a friend of mine gave me his Blackened wand.

I dunno about not being able to beat anyone in a duel. I don't duel much but as part of a guild event I personally smoked a 42 druid when I was 36. I've also smoked 2 bards and a paladin. Yes, a paladin. It's amazing what I can do self buffed with my level 1 Flash of Light Spell. And as for soloing, I solo Freeport guards, giants in BW, Sarnaks, and several other dark blue con mobs rather frequently. And the carnage I inflict in undead zones would make a necro cry. I may not have wizard quality nukes, but with 1000 extra hp from Temperence and Armor of Faith, plus my 2 invulnerability spells in case of emergency, I can hold my own.
If you want to bash clerics, get your facts straight first. And post your name next time. I like to know who the newbs are.

for a level 54 paladin you have a very negative attitude for clerics as you are half cleric...and also clerics can keep you alive and ressurect better than you ever can.

i am a fellow cleric there is a way for clerics to solo. at lvl 39 you get a self only buff i am lvl 41 with Valor and Armor of Protection (aka AoP) i get over 1k of hp if soloin giants in FM that are DB like Craigs and Braes they are easy to solo with that kind of hp. BTW you get AoP in a town in velious.Well thats all the info you'll get out of me.

this person not level 54 if he is raing on clerics. Without cleric's the high end game is not possible.

I believe if you actually READ his message, you will undersatnd what he is saying...and I agree with him... NPC clerics that can chain heal (never seeming to go OOM) and hit for similar damage as a warrior of equal level (WITH THEIR BARE HANDS I MIGHT ADD).

No one speaks of mobs duelling and soloing. Obviously, he's talking about player clerics.
He's not talking about mob clerics until he says "mob clerics" (as in "mob clerics can keep on healing over and over and do same dmg as tanks").

Hmmm, I camped out Befallen on May 1, 2002 and this and other highend mobs on the Druzzil Ro server were no where to be found:( I cleared the zone several times. I was camping Gynok Moltor, btw 12 hours and no pop. Does anyone know if all of the high end mobs are now gone for good? I must say Befallen is sooooo boring now:) I spent the day clearing zone, getting keys and popping PH, and meeting new friends:) Even if the mobs are boring must say I did have a good time visiting, hehe:) Very long camp, and will be there again tomorrow.

Hehe iv killed this guy a few times for fun...let the newbies get some items =) one IC this guy is toast...i killed him with my wizzy then with ma 30 war=) he is twinky tough so dont try it if u dont have good enuf gear =)...just sayin he does still spawn

I can tell you he still spawns as of 13 mar 02 I just wanted to see what was new here and he is here on the bottom floor... however he was wearing silver armor not gold as in the pic above.

NOT solo he wouldnt - would not even make it past the first room on the third I dont emagine. Get some friends - then get a few more and THEN bring it on - the xp here totally rocks and the loot is awesome.

Me and a level 45 Necro friend just spend afew days in Befallen (camping a necro item for friends) and while we were down there we camped this guy's room also.
However, to our everlasting disappointment, he doesn't spawn anymore. We double checked this with another website, and so we feel pretty confident he was just part of the temporary changes to the zone.
Have fun and safe hunting!

This guy will be the strongest guy you will face in befallen and his blacken wand is a very good wand

I can indeed confirm he is a Cleric, blue at 34. He will try to chain-heal himself, so have some way to interrupt or prepare for a long fight.

How hard is this guy? What class is he? I'm sure a lot of people are going to say 'DUH.. look at his equipment.. he is a cleric', but really that isn't always the case in this game. I'm wondering if my 45 ench can take him out alone, or if he is going to cast like a mutha.

He spawns on the third floor, if your coming from the door that is from the second floor, go down the hallway. Instead of going through the false wall, go through the door right there, opposite the false wall.
Once you enter this room, you will notice there's three other paths to take. One on the right, one straight ahead, and one ahead and to the left.
Go straight ahead, and now, you are in a room with four other possible directions to go. One to the right, one straght ahead, one to the left, and one behind and to the left.
Go down the right path, go straight through the next room (obivious where to go), and he spawns in that room.
He didn't drop anything the one time I killed him =\.

Also drops primordial ritualist robe. Any idea on where this spawns? I could definately use the robe, and possibly the sceptre. I am guessing the sceptre is common drop, and robe is rare drop. Anymore information on this mob will be greatly appreciated.

Killed Zveir just now, he dropped a Scepter of the Darkened Rite. Stats are as follows;
Cleric only, all races.
Weight 5.0
Small size
Magic, Lore, No Drop
Primary slot only
Wisdom +8, Mana +10, Sv Fire, Disease, Magic, Poison, Cold all +2
Luckily, I was there with a cleric. Quite a nice surprise from the only blue mob in Befallen, hehe. He appears to have a much longer spawn time than the rest of the dungeon.
