When did this mob get introduced to the game for the first time?

A true warrior is always armed with three things: the radiant sword of pacification; the mirror of bravery, wisdom, and friendship; and the precious jewel of enlightenment. Aikido is the principle of non-resistance. Because it is non-resistant, it is victorious from the beginning. Those with evil intentions or contentious thoughts are instantly vanquished. Aikido is invincible because it contends with nothing.
I remember when I started playing this game if the Tork got pulled you immediately had a train call go out and the entire zone ran for their lives after soiling themselves.
Was bumbling around emptying the first floor on my 21 bard with my trused apprentice Merc healer (the cheapest one) and standard defiant gear . Pulling everything outside I got him and a darkbone skeleton. His HP didn't seem to be dropping, so I killed off the skelly to avoid the stunns. A lot of hitpoints for sure, not something easily tanked wearing cloth or leather. Ended with Merc at half mana and typical loots in my backpack. Not all that much (with the defiant gear and merc at least).
I have only been to unrest a few times in the past, but i had recently made a necro, and i thought hmmm i can kill yellow's and some reds at 27... hmm lets try him.. so i took my 26 and the malignant dead pet and i engaged him, lifetapped the ghoul that spawned next 2 him dead and proceeded to kill him, note i am semi-twinked and have buffs so does the pet and has summoned mage weps, and i got him to 16% after lifetapping him for some 4 mins and he killed pet, i didnt even see the pets hp move and he downed it, i have about 600 tops hp and almost 1k mana at 26, twinked i kno and he brought me down to 14% i feared him and clicked gate, he is definately not a mob to mess with, and then to get revenge brought my 75 war in here and slaughtered this dude in less than 10 seconds :)
There is no way you could POSSIBLY think this guy is tough enough to give a group of level 20s and a few uber druids a tough time.
I was PLing two people from a guild that is our ally, a 19 necro and an 18 ranger. Necro had temp from ranger's cleric that was logged there, ranger himself had no temp - took one heal to bring him from 20% to 90%.
We killed this guy three times, with ease.
First time we killed him, we went inside, took left hallway from ent, room at the end of the hall with no door has him and a dark boned skeleton. As long as you have share wolf form on, nothing aggroes. All we did was fight him in the room, with me, a 37 druid playing healer, at about 10 mana. These two were by no means twinked, and same with me. I tanked Torklar, with a 19-pt damage shield from my potion "10 Dose Kilva's Skin of Flame." The two meleed him down, while I healed myself every so often. The dark boned skelly did aggro, but he was no challenge, either. Once Torky was down, they jumped on the skeleton. Piece of cheesecake.
Second and third time I was just pulling some named mobs outta the building(undead barkeep, zombie of an unrest noble, crazed ghoul, etc) and taking them to the ent for the necro and ranger to whack on. Those two managed to keep aggro for the most part, I only snared the mobs, and had no trouble with adds because I was not only in wolf form, but higher than everything around these mobs. Anyways, I just picked off the skelly first and let them kill him(I know realize he wouldn't have aggroed anyway since it was just me), but then I'd pull Ol' Torky. I'd only have to heal the ranger or necro, whoever held aggro, once or twice.
In about a minute he'd drop dead on the ground and his head would roll off his shoulders. Once again, piece of cheesecake.
He may be a minor undercon, but he's nothing to be freaked out about at all. As long as you have a tank, dps and a decent healer, you're fine. So quite yer whinin' and get a buddy or two to help you beat this little sucker's behind.
Finally managed to take this sucker out solo with my lvl 30 cleric.
Full Mana, Sermon of Righteous to pull (with focus I get 15 hit per tick). Then pull him to the zone tunnel. Use Instill then nuke away with Dismiss, which doesn't break the root. Keep your distance & you can re-root if needed.
Exactly-- he can be tough, but clerics and pallies shouldnt have a hard time at all, especially if you are the right level. I call him "the bull"-- he has a ton of HP and does a fair amount of damage. He seems a lot higher than level 20. But as stated above, "He's hard, but solo'able". If you have the right conditions, he's very possible to kill.
This was good advice. My level 27 Cleric first calmed the green mobs around him, because she didn't want to be bothered with him. Pulled with Sermon of Righteous, ran to the zone tunnel, used Instill to root him, then nuked away with Dismiss, which doesn't break the root. I kept my distance and had to re-root once. He only got to hit me twice.
I did have temp, though, and used a clarity potion to keep mana up.
I took him by myself as a Lvl 29 Ranger with my Fiancee's ranger casting heal on me. I hit him three times with Flaming arrow and I had buffs on. He almost took me out and he conned light blue to me. A Guide named Youran or something similiar was watching me take him out.
this guy kicked my 28 roque to the curb and I had a 21 cleric healing and a 23 shammy helping. He conned light blue so we thought we had him easy. Not! This guy is way tougher than he looks.
This guy reminds me of the Rotting Flesh Hunter in my native Field of Bone. Brought my 39 SK to help out my brother's pally get something from here, we ran into this guy. Neither of us twinked, he ripped us to shreds... he reisted pretty much everything I threw at him. Saw him 2 more times; we got him on the last go.
BTW If anyone wants even MORE fun with undercons, try taking on the lvl 14 Rotting Flesh Hunter... THAT was an interesting Fear Kite :P
This guy is tough. Double hits for 80 at lvl 20. A Battleworn Canteen is his common drop. Torklars's Battlehammer is his rare drop. I saw him killed 5 times and he dropped the hammer once.
Dude you may think that u are twinked.... but i beg to differ. Even though you have "OK" stuff u have far more to learn. First i have had many groups in low 20's take him down. And also have seen many druids that him down around level 25. I just think that you tried to do it with your gimp druid and got pwnd. Just what i am thinking, dont let Flamers like him talk crap.

Even look at his ****** gear, level 48 ench with not all slot filled wow **** noob. Dont talk to me until u can back your **** up. AND no again NO level 25 druid can take him!!!
It wasn't easy but my Druid Tundil Took him out... The best strategy for him is root and nuke the crap out of him. Dot's are good but tend to take to long but my druid beat him at lvl 25 and make sure you have sow on yourself you can't out melee him if your a lower level you have to blast him to death
Lvl 40 pally here was playing around in Unrest. Had a few debts to pay back and wanted zombie skins. Came across this guy and thought, "Hmmm hes named and green. Should be ok but..." he agroed me by that time. :) Got me down to 30% health and the ONLY reason it was only 30% is that I was using ghoulbane AND the spell instrument of nife. Had enough procs to make the battle otherwise I would have to LOH myself. Saw a few double hits for about 80 pts of dam per hit (whimper) on me. Dropped A Battleworn Canteen.
this guy is the biggest undercon i've ever seen i'm a 34 pally and he conned green to me so i tryed to take him big mistake he got me down to 10% before i zoned. my advice never solo him if your 30 and under
Well, We did get Torklar twice.... after he pasted us once.
20 Pal, 19 Sham, 18 Ranger, 17 Monk the first time... Shaman DoT, Paladin Fear, Ranger Snare... he has so many hitpoints that my DoT didn't really matter that much... it was mainly follow him around and kick the crap out of him while he was feared. When he turned around, he would double tap, sometimes 80 and 80. That's like half the monks hitpoints at 17.
I have never seen a mob that underconned this bad... not sayin there aren't worse somewhere (Last time I played was Beta 3 and release) but this guy pulls real easy when you don't want him... without a good group with the tools to wear him down, play it safe and zone.
Was with a friend in Unrest just playing around and next thing I knew I saw Torklar Battlemaster running at a group near the zone. They shouted for help, so I helped them. I rooted him and told them to back up, but a Lvl 12 Gnome Warrior didn't see the message, or chose to ignore it, so he was swallowed up quickly. I then hit him with all my DoTs. Since I was only about 20% mana, because I just buffed about the whole zone, I didn't nuke him. I just sat there medding and kept the DoTs on him. He only took maybe 2 or 3 minutes before he went down. The Warrior that had died was using a Rusty Broad Sword for a weapon, so I let him loot the hammer that dropped. Never knew someone could be so excited about a 6 Dmg 28 Dly weapon. But, he was a bit disappointed when he found out that he couldn't hit for 60 with it.
Niolen Silvertree Druid of the 52nd season Worshipper of Tunare Player on Mithaniel Marr http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=759043
Met him with my 36 rogue, had no buffs and was at 80% hp or so, for a green con he shure killed me fast, guess a rogue is not the best tank there is but still.
Someone pulled this guy out of the house in a train so a 52 Cleric who was healing and rezzing at the zone line confidently took him on... and had a hard time killing him.
Bit later after he respawned I came across him in the house and set my level 49 Necro pet on him; the pet soloed the mob, but he actually took off 16% of the pet's health, which is pretty impressive when you consider that the pet is at least twenty levels above him, 55% hasted, lifetaps, and regenerates 30 points a tick... mid-30s mobs generally do less damage to the pet than he did. Certainly a real undercon.
A few levels back I was cleaning Unrest of the unique mobs and thought this would be easy by then. Learned my lesson quickly, I hadn't done anything to improve my magic resist at the time, and he knocked me back into a few other mobs and did it again and I was gone. I swore I would have my revenge. Now a 52 Mystic with 120 MR (self-buffed), I walked in and with the aid of my loyal wolf slaughtered everything in my way until I got to him and to make a long story short thoroughly owned him. Afterward I left pet at front and trained the ghoul magus out along with other things and killed it and the entire train. Fun for the whole family.
