Killed him today (11/26/01) He dropped 2 cloaks, a couple of spells, a scale, and a Bioluminescent Orb, Seemed way easier than any other dragon i've fought, though my experience is limited to Naggy, Vox, Trak, and a smattering of WW dragons.
I was max ally to CoV at the beginning of the fight, and was still ally after he dropped, so the faction hit can't be too huge. Hope this helps.

That is used for a really nice quest and if anybody has some extras on Torv server then could i please get some, its the hardest part of the quest. :)

Okay some people posted about changes to this guy after an emergency patch. Soooooo my question is has he been changed? Is he harder? Can he still be taken out by 2 groups of 50+? Finally what is his spawn time? Once a week? Twice a week? Random?Personally I am tired of my fbss and wouldn't mind a nice CoCW. Please post the answers to my questions if you know them. Thanks,

With 2 clerics, a monk, shaman, warrior, and chanter can take him.... hes cake. just make sure ya get him slowed and he drops, i even won his cloak :)

Uhh.. what's the talk of this emergency patch? Did they buff or change Kelorek`Dar since then?

We just got him before the patch on XEV server. We had 2 groups of 5. One cleric in each group and our main tank was a lvl 57. Our group ranged from 45-57 to give you and idea of how hard he is. Of course the 45 Cleric bit the dust when he was aggro'ed from all the healing and using mod rods. He dropped 2 rouge weapons, Typhoon and meat for the quest. Was alot of fun.

litteraly just took this guy down half hour before the emergancy patch on aug 23 with a throw toghter raid. he hit my ranger (909ac) for nothing over 250. didnt fear and nuked me once for 1k damage (dont think was aoe) was very easy kill. didnt even see him use any special ablities. i went ld about half way though the fight though so not sure if he enrages or not. was an extremlly easy kill. had 3 mabye 4 groups. the bard that tried pulling him intially said she got stuned after every second hit though and didnt take more the 220 in melee damage. and took down another that tried pulling him. we pulled him between the two othmir camps close to the ss zone. he droped 3 daggers and meat. for melee's dont even bother using a defensive disc unless you main tank.

How hard does she hit? Just wondering If I can do it with a 2 NICELY equipped gruops...My guild always has 58-60 level people one not doing much...and I really want that dragon meat...hehehehe...if it's about around 500 3 clerics can keep main tank alive easily...our tanks are mostly outfitted with warlords stuff being dragon allied. And how much HP also...because if it's over 100k will need more then 2 groups...tanks can't do that much dmg b4 4 clerics run oom.

if you are allied with dragons you shouldnt have warlords stuff... just an fyi - and there is no way this guy has 100k hp. this guy is one of the easiest dragons as most people know.

where it says his loot i think it is missing a BP. I am pretty sure he drops the Incardanine (or whatever its called) BP. Its worth about 80k as on eq prices and is very good for high lvl war. Its like 35ac 15str and other uber stats. Also has effect gather shadows or something its a type of invis. Hope this helps to whoever is looking for the BP).

Can anyone comment on the faction hits taken when Kelorak'Dar is killed? My guild would like to take him down, but many are concerned that it will hurt their CoV faction. We have some reports that there are NO faction hits at all. If someone who's actually killed him could respond, I'd greatly appreciate it.

you need CR against it of course, because at first it hits everyone with an ice comet type spell that hit me for 1k dmg i think... It only had 1 beginning area effect. Pops pretty rare, only seen her one time and i quad kite in CS a lot. Thats all the info i know :)

Yes, he is on CoV faction, he also drops teh CoCW and I *think* scales.

Drops "sea dragon scales" and "sea dragon meat" which is for the quest above (wis 12 range slot item me thinks). The scales are for a bracer i have not found the info on yet.
