after laughing alot by the stories posted i had a good time but i'm still left confused about the role iceberg and tundra jack play in the game, can anyone please put up a clear cut answer? i'm having a hard time finding info about them on the web sites (clear cut info anyhow). and no i'm not stupid for all of those who were waiting to jump on this one :-) lol
Iceburg is Tundra Jack's "pet"

While hunting Barbarian guards all this week, have had several run-ins with TJ.

Every time TJ aggroed us, Iceburg popped out of thin air, and joined the fray.

This bear is -extremely- magic resistant, and runs at a speed at least equal to that of JBoots (Know this from experience *nervous laugh*).

Iceburg double hits in the 120s, doesn't have too many hitpoints, and drops nothing for loot or coin.
Oh man oh man did I have a scare

I was out lurking for woolly spiders, ya know easy pickins for a 6th level barbarian warrior.

Anywho, I stumble out on the path to Black Burrow. Kinda lost, but kinda cool too, I start looking around.

BAM! Giant big monster bear is killing a pair of mammoth and starts to walk my way.

I yipe and run, (first thing I have ever run from, and I fight those Vengful skeletal thingies) and hide on the side of a mountain.

Is the nightmare over? NO.

He follows me and starts pacing at the foot of the mounting like he is waiting for me.

A pair of mamoths come along, while it was dispatching them I ran like the Road Runner for Halas.

Just my little tale.

It seems that Iceberg has 90% MR resist or something like that. He was impossible for me to snare, 15 times impossible. So i used my quick Druid thinking skills and found my lvl 47 chanter friend. Got him to tashan the bear so i could snare. Iceberg obsioulsy attacked the ench, but his pet was up. So i took the time to try and snare, 5 times all resisted. The pet died quickly, next the chanter, then me (sow ran out while running to perma). Anyways, get a warrior and cleric, ench of higher lvls to kill this bear.

PS. nobody has posted what he drops? is it all for nothing?

The Bear doesn't like wolf form..... in fact neither do the barbarian guards
Has he been killed?

Does he ever get away from his master? Just charm the master of the bear...kill the bear ...loot it....zone...
Shouldnt be too hard if hes only lvl 30 :) 50 chanter could do it :).

If anyone know what the bear would loot im curious:)

iceberg has a pet status to Tundra jack
he waits on the spot where jack leaves him for a minute and then Jack calls him and iceberg runs to him
ok a lvl 56 shaman tried to root Iceberg. resist
resist
resist
ok tried to root Jack resist
resist
resist
so much for a lvl 50 enchanter could charm one of them :D

he's easy to seperate just harmony the big dumb idiot and pull the bear worked just fine for me and 2 friends we wooped him up to.
Charm can last a while...

If you use a magic resist defuf before charming something chamr lasts a LOT longer. Ive been abble to keep pets charmed over 4 minutes after debuffing first.
It can be done

Sure the charm wore off after a while, but its a sinch to recharm him. Not too difficult if you know what your doing.
Big Bear

Iceberg is indeed a big bear, lvl 35 I believe. Yet an odd thing happened one day, I saw a group of lvl 45+ charming Iceberg and using him to attack Tundra Jack. It was an effective way to kill Tundra; they had him snarred and slowed. Then they would DOT and blast him from a distance while Iceberg mauled his own master from behind.
Was a site I never will forget. That's a tough barbarian to be taking out, yet I loved that tactic of charming his own pet against him. Afterwards they used Iceberg to help them kill the 1 guard in everfrost peaks.
They even tried to melee the barbarian guard but stopped after almost getting themselves killed. Those barbarian guards are tough, some of the hardest you will ever find, much tougher then the Orge and Troll Bouncers. Never seen a barbarian guard under lvl 40, unlike many other races, humans for one.
