Been told he is level 63 as well. Was red to me at 55 so I couldn't really verify this. High resists to both cold and fire, about 50% of my Lures were resisted completely and the others landed for full.

Hi! I am only level 40 at the moment, but I am leveling fairly quick. I want to get a couple (or 3) groups ready to kill this bad SoB by the time I get there... In any case I am on Vazealle. And am thinking about doing this at about the 53-55th level.

I was helping a monk doing this part of the epic. He was quite easy..
Here is how we did it.
1. Monk spawn Deep and vorash
2. Monk pull them to dry land
3. druid or bard Tag Deep and start kiting her
4. Main Tank jumps vorash, gettin a good aggro.
5. Enchanter Taz vorash and shammy Slows
6. Other meleer engage vorash
7. Nuker Nukes.
After vorash dies the guy kiting Deep comes back with her and the Story repeats.. same with Xenevorash
We was able to take him with 2 groups
1 MT
1 backup MT
2 clerics 1 in each group (lvl 54 & 55)
1 enchanter lvl 54+
1 epic shammy
rest was wizzy, thief's and other dmg-dealers
only little prob was the Cleric that first landed CH got aggro and had to DA, but after that is was quite easy.

Driud definately do not suck. Verant made each caster class the best at something, all except the driud, who is usually the 2nd best at everything. If they are not the 2nd best than they are the third best at that thing, for example: driuds are defineatly one of the best dder's in the game(at least the top 3), they get 2nd best stat buffs(shammies rule!), they are also 2nd best SOWer's(i think shammies are best). So the next time think before you u start insulting a class (especially if it is one of the most popular classes in the game! You dumb****!)

Essence of Darkness got him today on Tholuxe and
he is _not_ lvl 60. He cons red to lvl 60 so he must be 65ish or so.
Grats to our monk on epic.
He doesnt seem very fire resistant since a 48 wiz
got him with Enticement of flame.

yeah i bet everyone knows this. he is THE hardest part of the monk epic, because, as you know most Astral Projection, the guy who spawns in those huge ruins out in the middle of the lake in LOIO. yeah, turn somethin in to him, 2 dudes named Vorash <human monk punches for 150 average and casts 500DD> and Deep <Dark Elf Warrior hits for 170 and procs 500DD cold spell>. kill them <they drop nothing> and then the big sarnak skele spawns, and he drops the last item for the epic quest for monks

I was searching the lake for the stuffed baraccuda for the shaman weapon upgrade quest last night on the Nameless. I had been noticing several shouts & ooc's about Deep being up. I did some checking on her & decided that I really didn't want to meet her. I also noticed one about Xenevorash being up. Well, I got a bearing on my target & went into the water to find him. When I went down there, I saw 2 bloodgills so I beat feet out of there. When I hit the shore there were about 20 corpses all over the beach. Deep took them out. I waited a few & went back in search of my target. I was cast levitate & set off again. I hit the first platform off the beach & all I saw was my health decline rapidly. You have been slain by Xenevorash was the next message. Eventually I made it back to the beach near where I got smoked. I did some long range scanning & the bad **** was standing ON my corpse. This wouldn't be so bad if DEEP wasn't there too. SO, it would seem that you may need to kill Deep to get Vorash or Xenevorash to spawn, but the must respawn fairly soon after.

So, a note to all you Iksar shaman out there, be careful when you are looking for the stuffed baraccuda, beacause you may find more than you bargained for.

Deep and Vorash are spawned by giving the Astral Presence the Eye of Kaiaren. Once Vorash is dead, Xenovorash spawns.

General rule of thumb - if you see a ton of high level players' corpses on the shore in LOIO, stay out of that lake.

Hello guys.
My guild, "Blood and Guts" on Torvonillous just take him down yesterday.
21 players were involved.
First thing to know is that he is the final mob for the monk epic and then only drop a single item wich is the Demon Fang (it is just an object to give to another npc, not a weapon)
Vorash is a monk looking guy wich spawn after "a presence" has been given stuff by the "future" epic monk.
You have to fight Vorash and deep at the same time as they both aggro.
Deep is casting spells that water pets are immune too so the bet way is to send pets on her (so no area damage from her) while the others players bash Vorash.
After Vorash death Xenovorash will spawn on the same spot. That is why the best tactic is to fight on the nearest shore so you can have a med break and heal after the first fight before pulling Xenovorash.
He hit me for high 200 (I am 55 monk) and the best tactic is the usual one for higher mobs ;
Main tank disc/ then all melee go in and chain rune V on main tank (problem is that since recent patch Rune V aggro mob... Thats why we lost our chanter on this raid :(... )
